This is what me when I start to “like” someone. We meet. I obsess and start to fill in the blanks. Basically I idealize this person and hype myself up. Then they don’t meet my expectations. And I dip.

I am so glad I came across this video. My Aquarius man and I grew up together in church....we knew each other but no interaction really when we were kids. Fast forward we get together this year for 8 months. We are compatible, we love each other, Im not needy/clingy, I dont nag....but he leaves. This just happened. He said he doesnt have the time he would like to give me due to him building his business. I understand that he wont be happy unkess he follow his dreams. I didnt make him feel bad for his decision and wished him well, thanked him for being honest with me. He said maybe at a later time things can work out. The last thing he said to me is Just know I love you. Even before I saw your video, I decided that I wont wait for him and I am open to seeing what could happen later if he comes back because we didnt hurt each other....in fact a couple month ago he admitted that he was so happy with me emotionally physically and in every way. That is what makes the breakup hard because I miss him. Your video was conformation that I am doing the right thing in my handling of this situation. If when he comes back I am unattached to a relationship or commitment to another man, I will see what he has to say and show me. My only concern, and I did say this to him before we parted ways , is that being busy with your business wont ever change....balance is what is needed here. I guess at this time he isnt sure how to do that. It was also confirmation when you said people will leave. I always said as it pertains to him, I want us to be together forever BUT, I know all things end and I have peace about this situation because even before we got together, I released my desire to try to control the outcome of a situation. OMG I had such a similar situation happen to me a few years ago with a scorpio dude. We were dating and he used to set up a date and then leave me hanging or picked me up late with excuses. He had me confused coz he sometimes did things that made me feel like he genuinely liked me and then he would turn around and do these puzzling things. Anyway, I ended up doing back to him what he did to me and he didn't like it one bit. To make long story short, he put his hands on me, I hit him back. I caught him straight in the face with my right and he grabbed my left fist. I pulled my arm back and got out of the car to never speak to him again. I noticed that a lot of time when I'm straight up with people they don't handle it well. People say Aquarius are cold but let me tell you, I'm a friendly Aquarius and many people try to take advantage of that and I guess when they see the other side of me they don't know what to do with themselves. 🤷♀️ Thank goodness that I've been committed to someone who is secure of himself and makes me feel secure(I admit I had insecurity issues that stemmed from my childhood and later on from negative relationship experiences). Having Aquarius as my Sun and Aquarius in my Venus, I really resonate with you. Lol, I'm well known to dip and it's when people think i won't and I do that's they're shocked. My father (an Aquarius) is the cause of my abandonment and commitment issues and that hard to work on but I'm willing to do it.
I dated a couple of times with an Aquarius guy (we eat, go to the museum or to the movie, friendly but with an attraction) The last meetings he cancelled 2 times in a row telling me he couldn t get out of his house.
