Sure intellectually she knows that it was probably an accident and that powder was just trying to help. But she just watched almost everyone she loved die in front of her. Then she finds out the last remnant of family she has left did that. I’d like to see anyone be able to take that kind of stress and following revelation without acting irrationally and with aggression. Even without punching powder you tell me you wouldn’t be screaming, crying, and leaving or having a breakdown, possibly both.
The way he actually keeps his memories as a monster amazes me, and when he looks Silco dead in the eyes, and screams “SILCO” god that gave me goosebumps.

While under Shimmer, your mind must be racing with overwhelming adrenaline and just violence in general, and for Vander to overcome this to save Vi is remarkable. @@Giuseppegranata7067 Both are pretty great father figures. Just for different reasons. Silco Is pretty setup in arcane and jinx is more or less a weakness to him. But he accepts her no matter what she'll do. He even gave up his ultimate goal of zaun. cause the price would of been powder.

And even if he lived, we can't guarantee that he won't eventually trade jinx for Zaun, after all his implied goal is for sovereignty and not for peace of Zaun, otherwise Zaun wouldn't have been such shitty place during his regime.

He says to VI in game, his voice was kind sad, i think its a reference to this scene, remember that Arcane was being produced way before WW rework, maybe its a easter egg. He has voices for Jinx too that fits perfectly with the final scene of act1... Riot are genius

This is also hinted with Vander's nickname, "The Hound of the Underground." The voice when Vander mutates is also that of Warwick. We can be all, but assured he will become the werewolf, Warwick.

If you miss Vander, even Mylo and Claggor, given the fact they were there only for 3 episodes, then the show made its job to the max. Many of us might appreciate 3d animations, but this 2d animation is one of the most detailed animations in history. Even Silco, we've only had for 1 season of 9 episodes, yet many of us liked him and consider him one of the best villains. This is how you do an animation, if you have the budget and talented people ofc.

I wish Vander would have lived through all that, imagine the changes that would have happened if he did live. The amount of sadness I had when he died was astronomical. I also wonder how he died, he was in a glimmer state end which should have kept him alive through all this but it for some reason didn’t. Perhaps his body couldn’t handle it maybe, but then again he is also a veteran warrior 🤔

Near the ceiling we see a body hanging that has a similar build to vender's. There was a concept art related to this scene before arcane about the creation of Warwick with a similar background and a body with a similar build. Vender did not die, he fainted due to shimmer and was later recruited by singed. Singed then transforms vander into Warwick. This is confirmed in season 2 trailer. Warwicks theme plays at the end meaning vander is still alive just turned into warwick
I just realized that right after Vander killed Deckard and saw Vi and got confused, he started making Warwick noises. Also I just realized that the wall Vander jumps through to save Vi from the explosion is the wall Claggor was bringing down, Vander just made the whole bigger. So Clagger really did get them out of there, just like he promised.

The main thing I want from season two, is a moment where Vi protects Powder/Jinx from Cait and goes into a speech about how fighting will achieve nothing, exactly as Vander taught her on the bridge where her parents died, his greatest mistake and greatest shame. Add in to this, Warwick recovering in the Background after whatever big climactic battle has just occurred, and upon hearing Vi speak, it triggers those memories, Warwick’s rage fades, and by the time the scene is done, he slinks back into the shadows. It probably won’t happen, but if it does I will be SO happy, because it would be the perfect full circle moment, Vi not only protected Powder/Jinx, but did so while recognising that all hate and anger create is MORE hate and anger. EXACTLY, as Vander taught her.
It seems likely that he'll come back as a monster like everyone is saying based on his voice lines in the game with Vi and the fact that his wiki page literally says "Status Unknown (Presumed dead)." However lore wise I don't remember Vander being friends with Singed. Even in the past uprising him and Silco were part of. That was explicitly stated in his lore, that they he and singed were friends. Also in the wiki updated Warwick's name was Warwick before he was turned into a wolf-chimera/lycanthrope , so that would also have to be adjusted. The name would have to came from... wherever. Maybe it was his name as a gangster, or they'll finally give a character in arcane a surname. In the coming battles between Zaun and Piltover he could be a initiation catalyst: "war" + "wick" like war candle, or war lighter. Blah, I don't like the concept so far, but the writers for arcane have done a good job so far. I kinda just want Vander to rest to be honest. He was my favorite character in S1, and his "death" had a lot of meaning for Vi, Jinx, Echo, and Silco's character development.
Arcan doesn’t follow league canon. Canon states that Vi grew up in an orphanage and doesn’t know Jinx is her sister. Jace isn’t the creator of Hextech, although he is a driving force behind it. Jace and Victor were never friends. Vi got her gauntlets from an op gone wrong in some mine. Etc.
As a side note, what you're bringing up is OLD Warwick lore. The old lore was that Warwick and Singed used to be friends, Warwick pissed off a goddess, got cursed, etc. Werewolf. New lore, Warwick was once a gangster who found himself in the clutches of Singed, cue horrific torture, and eventual monster turned loose vigilante.
Gonna be so upset if Vander isn't Warwick but there are a few things that don't line up e.g. only got a hint at WW at the end of Arcane which means a LONG time has passed since then at least 7 years where he was just sitting there at singed's place
Besides the small little detail called plot, Vanders wounds were too severe from the fall to last for long even with shimmer, plus the force of the fall etc he probably just couldn’t stay alive from the damage caused from before he took it
@@arch_2076 Not to also mention that the kind of ingestible Shimmer they had, only had temporary effects (as seen when Deckard transformed back into his regular self), so even if he initially survived, he definitely would've eventually died when returning to normal.
Some things this show would be a waste of potential without: Warwick hunting down chem barons at some point. Fiddlesticks being nightmare fule. Mordekaiser harvesting the strong. Jhin -gunning people down- creating art. Pyke killing random people in bildgewater. S H A C O. Swain outplaying everyone. Sion killing entire armies. Void champs, the creature ones, like cho and kha. Better be in there at some point.

@Matthew Muir of course season 2 could introduce more characters, but as of now, him and Vander are the only ones we have seen undergo violent transformations. Also Vander looked very dead (and was mortally wounded) as well as Deckard. I think it's a reasonable theory

It seems likely that he'll come back as a monster like everyone is saying based on his voice lines in the game with Vi and the fact that his wiki page literally says "Status Unknown (Presumed dead)." However lore wise I don't remember Vander being friends with Singed. Even in the past uprising him and Silco were part of. That was explicitly stated in his lore, that they he and singed were friends. Also in the wiki updated Warwick's name was Warwick before he was turned into a wolf-chimera/lycanthrope , so that would also have to be adjusted. The name would have to came from... wherever. Maybe it was his name as a gangster, or they'll finally give a character in arcane a surname. In the coming battles between Zaun and Piltover he could be a initiation catalyst: "war" + "wick" like war candle, or war lighter. Blah, I don't like the concept so far, but the writers for arcane have done a good job so far.
I kinda just want Vander to rest to be honest. He was my favorite character in S1, and his "death" had a lot of meaning for Vi, Jinx, Echo, and Silco's character development.
Arcan doesn’t follow league canon.
Canon states that Vi grew up in an orphanage and doesn’t know Jinx is her sister.
Jace isn’t the creator of Hextech, although he is a driving force behind it.
Jace and Victor were never friends.
Vi got her gauntlets from an op gone wrong in some mine. Etc.

As a side note, what you're bringing up is OLD Warwick lore. The old lore was that Warwick and Singed used to be friends, Warwick pissed off a goddess, got cursed, etc. Werewolf.
New lore, Warwick was once a gangster who found himself in the clutches of Singed, cue horrific torture, and eventual monster turned loose vigilante.

Gonna be so upset if Vander isn't Warwick but there are a few things that don't line up e.g. only got a hint at WW at the end of Arcane which means a LONG time has passed since then at least 7 years where he was just sitting there at singed's place
Remember that giant worm-like monster that was in Singed lab fed on Shimmer for years and still living?
If you read Warwick's oficial lore it seems he was traped and tortured at Singed's lab for a very long time.
Everyone spoling the fact that he's a character from league named Warwick ruined a part of season 2 that i will never get back. Thanks, league fans.

I do not understand, why did he still die? The Shimmer allowed that blonde guy to survive an explosion, why Vander did not survive?
Besides the small little detail called plot, Vanders wounds were too severe from the fall to last for long even with shimmer, plus the force of the fall etc he probably just couldn’t stay alive from the damage caused from before he took it

@@arch_2076 Not to also mention that the kind of ingestible Shimmer they had, only had temporary effects (as seen when Deckard transformed back into his regular self), so even if he initially survived, he definitely would've eventually died when returning to normal.

Some things this show would be a waste of potential without:
Warwick hunting down chem barons at some point. Fiddlesticks being nightmare fule. Mordekaiser harvesting the strong. Jhin -gunning people down- creating art. Pyke killing random people in bildgewater. S H A C O. Swain outplaying everyone. Sion killing entire armies. Void champs, the creature ones, like cho and kha.
Better be in there at some point.

@Matthew Muir of course season 2 could introduce more characters, but as of now, him and Vander are the only ones we have seen undergo violent transformations. Also Vander looked very dead (and was mortally wounded) as well as Deckard. I think it's a reasonable theory
