The "Let me forget" line comes into the only thing Warwick in the lore can remember. He remembers a girl screaming. Screaming what sounded like a name. And his lore states he wants to forget that girl as that's all he remembers. When Vander dies and Vi abandons Powder by his body, Powder sits there screaming Vi's name at her. "Violet!"

In WW's bio, he remembers only blood and little girl's scream, it's a moment when Jinx cries and calls Vi. And when he was dying, he only saw Vi's face covered by blood
I don't believe he heard Powder screaming before the explosion, because he was in the room with the boys, and after the explosion, Powder fell down, on the ground, she could not even see anything happening inside. However, there is a moment when Powder was screaming and calling for Vi when she left, and that was happening right near Vander's body outside. They are definitely heavily imply in the most subtle ways that Vander becomes Warwick
The wolf growls when he was dosed up with shimmer is the strongest evidence to me. I think Vander being hinted as Warwick as an end scene for this first Arcane story would be a great cliffhanger.
The icing on the cake. The first paragraph of WW bio "Warwick is a monster who hunts the gray alleys of Zaun. My head cannon is that “Zaun needed you” referred to the resistance the people tried to put against Silco while Vi was in prison, they needed her as a substitute for vander. Ekko needed her, the people needed her.

But no matter how hard he tried to move on, he could never escape the sins of his past. Memories of that time come to Warwick in flashes before they’re inevitably lost, replaced by searing echoes of the days he spent strapped to a table in Singed’s lab, the mad chemist’s face looming above him. His world a haze of pain, Warwick could not recall how he fell into Singed’s grasp… and even struggled to remember a time before the suffering began. The scientist patiently carved into him, installing pumps and hoses to inject chemicals into his veins, seeking what an alchemist always seeks: transmutation. also when warwick says "I ran these streets" it could be referring to how Vander was the one everyone looked up to in the undercity and essentially "ran the streets" by being their leader
Don't know much about Warwick, but everything points to Vander being him in my eyes. The growling, the "Hound of the Underground", even his design looks very wolf-like to me. Resembling a lot of other characters in fiction that have something to do with wolves (it's the beard and the hair. It's always the beard and the hair). These choices aren't made for no reason. He's either Warwick or people had a damn good reason to think he is. I do hope he is. I miss Vander.

The things we know about warwick: He was a retired gangster , that eventually ran the streets under a new name , had kids, no mention of a wife or a woman in his life tho so the gits are adopted , he was a kind and good men with "a beast inside" that Silco literally told him and his last memory before everything turning black is a small girl screaming out a name while crying (Little Jinx screaming Vi after she leaves her). If he doesn't become Warwick by the third batch of episodes Im going to be really upset cause the characteristics is exactly the same and it would be a gigantic missed opurtunity.
actually the screaming a name part was smt like "she was screaming something, it seems like her name" so I think it would have been Powder screaming about how Vi told her she was a "jinx", therefore the "Jinx" nickname

@@jackthompson7546 no, silco as far as we know has no magic or the like so he'd have no way of controlling crows. It's either symbolic or one of Swain's spies.
1:36 Regarding this line, it’s possible that after Jinx was revived she witnessed the unconscious Vander who was in the process of becoming Warwick, even before as it seems like she knows Singed, referring to him as “the doctor” during Progress Day. Another hint to this theory is that during the scene where she pulls out the flare, we see Mylo and Claggor’s corpses but never Vander’s corpse at all so it’s possible that she knows that he’s still alive. Hell, he’s even depicted as a wolf in her hallucinations during the tea party.
@Nina Tote you likely won't see Swain in the show. It's a quote from the game in a specific interaction with Warwick (the character that Vander will most likely become).
Read Warwick’s lore. It says “buried beneath the fury lies the mind of a man-a gangster who put down his blade and took up a new name to live a better life.” Sounds like Vander to me.
I read a lore, before Warwick became warwick the last thing he remembers was blood and a voice of a screaming girl. In episode 3, when Vi left Powder beside dead Vander, Powder screamed until Silco and friends approached her.
"You were there..." probably refers to either Powder collapsing at his body after the bomb, or Jinx being in Singed's lab when she got her shimmer infusion. Reminder that we see Warwick's body already there at the end of season one.
when vander got up from the explosion to fight silco he saw the monkeybomb head on the floor so i think he knows it was powder who blew it up it even had the jinx style graffiti on it
feelsbad i really wanted vander to be a character for the entire show what an absolute sigma gigaChad beautiful man and character he was. Not to mention the absolute perfect voice acting. whoever his VA is god damn you have such a perfect voice and perfect delivery/talent/skill for these types of characters.
One thing people seem to miss is the quote "I became the monster I always was" from Warwick. Vander tried to drown Silco and has all this wrath is trapped inside him just waiting to be unbound. He was still trying to forget what he did, likely considering himself a monster in act 1 like he calls himself later as Warwick.
This is so good! But I think the time he saw fear in her eyes is when she first saw him juiced up on the purple stuff, looking like a monster. He freaked out when he saw her face and started howling in episode 3.
Also take a look at Vander's right arm, the one silco slashed Now take a look at warwicks right arm, the weaker one that broke and needed a claw to be surgically attached???
In lore, singed turns a human being into a werewolf so im guessing thats probably Vander also he performs cruel experiments on warwick attaches tubes of chemicals on his back and replaces his arm with a mechanical arm, all in while warwick was alive and he would pass out again and again from the pain
I'm so glad I'm watching this video after the s2 reveal (I've no idea about league's lore outside of arcane) because I would have been PISSED at this spoiler
Not to mention during the last fight for vander, they showed him using iron knuckles as his weapon which is the closest and most believable weapon that is similar to warwicks claws
I think the "You were there" will refer to fture events where Silco and Singed will experiment on him while Jinx is there because Silco took her in his gang for now.
That's actually make sense! Because, the way he say it, sounds like he is really mad at her, but he feels the connection between her to the fact that he raised Jinx but cannot fully remember it. It's sounds like he is angry and disappointed at the same time. In addition, he will not be mad if he is just talking about the fact that the explosions was caused by jinx because he will surely understand, that Jinx is just trying to help that night.
@@bulbulitobayagbagan9633 I don't know if he sounded moreangry than he sounds on every other line. He sounds angry even when talking to Vi, so thats probably just the way his voice is.
@@nooneatall5612 Of course he is angry, he feels so much pain that's what his lore is. What I meant was that he remember Jinx watching him suffer (to the fact that silco "adopted" her) while not doing anything, so he feel angry in a sense of he feels betrayed because he does not fully remember her who she was.
And not to mention about Singed's story of when he created Warwick. His art cover had the shadowed specimen hanging in chains and it looked very similar to Vander in his mutated form.
While Warwick was reworked, there was a series of Singe's journal entries posted about a man he was experimenting on with an illustration showing his subject hanging from the ceiling of his lab. The man on the ceiling is obscured but has plenty of similarities to Vander. There's another story that was posted with Warwick's update that contains his scattered thoughts and memories in which he occasionally describes two girls who are undoubtedly Vi and Jinx.

I can now imagine what they are going to pull with Warwick now. Vi, now demotivated from having lost her sister, gets to have her heart torn open again to see her father turn into a monster. Only for him to somehow remember her, but not fully there. A neverending struggle for someone who wishes to save.
I think the "The fear in your eyes, I've seen it before" voiceline of Warwick actually referts to when Vander was forced to use shimmer and beat up that thug on the doorframe, realizing what he is doing and turning away from Vi
Vander was the "hound of the underground," basically the head honcho of Zaun. The biggest thing that makes me feel as though Vander is Warwick is the 1 line Warwick says; "I ran these streets -..." Other quotes: "I became the monster I always was," Vander considered himself to be a "bad" person during the civil war days, so he wanted to change himself, to keep Zaun safer. Speaking of changing himself, "- a gangster who put down his blade and took up a new name to live a better life." - Warwick's Bio/Wiki. Sounds a lot like what Vander wanted to do, move on from the past sins he made (with Silco) and start a new life with a small family. Raise them to be better. "all he could see was blood. But then he heard a little girl screaming. Screaming something he couldn't understand. It sounded like a name." More bio/wiki information on Warwick. This could definitely imply the insane amount of blood spilled by all the kids and gangsters that surrounded him, as for the scream, that can 100% be referring to Jinx/Powder calling out to Vi/Violet. Love how Riot took a lot of small attention/details towards this series. Even if you never played league or even heard of it, it can definitely be enjoyable to the fullest.
7 Reasons why Vander might be Warwick SPOILERS obiv 1. In game Warwicks special interaction with Jinx is 'You were there...' 'Let me forget'. Although it is stated Warwick doesn't remember the life before singed took him in the ending in ep 3 could be the last traumatic experience he remembers although not seeing jinx he might have later found out she was in fact there, therefore confronts her about it. 2. When vander 'died' he had close resemblance to warwicks figure after ingesting the purple stuff 3. Vander picks up the other purple guy in a similar fashion to how Warwick picked up the chem baron after he was killed in his own cinematic 4. If it is revealed that Warwick is Vander rito would have made the line 'Who taught you how to punch?' To VI ironic - remember Warwick doesn't remember much of his past life. 5. Warwick says 'I ran these streets, (now its your turn to run)' . So did Vander, coincidence? 6. If you turned on subs you could see singed was one of the characters who 'died' in the ep 3 blast before officially revealing it was singed and a good 60% of singed lore is Warwick whom coincidentally dies in the same place as vander 7. Warwicks lore describes a zaunite gangster that tried to retire from this life but no matter how hard he tried his past caught up to him this closely matches Vanders description of his past life. Before adopting jinx and vi Vander used to hustle and stopped after the bridge incident in the beginning. His past life caught up to him when silco reentered his life his partner in crime. I wrote this up in my spare time but this guy does prove a lot of these in this video. edit: Split it up to make it more readable
i mean riot created the story they can easily match arcane to their character lore. and thats why i firmly beleive vander is warwick. they knew when they made the rework they wanted warwick to be something with zauns cahracters. and now they gave it a front with arcane
From Warwicks bio too, which gives even more evidence: "He saw a bearded man reflected in the eyes of a beggar as he tore out his throat. The other man looked somber, somehow familiar; there were scars on his arms." The scars on the arms are maybe the scars he got from Silco, and Vander is bearded in Arcane.

The "Let me forget" line comes into the only thing Warwick in the lore can remember. He remembers a girl screaming. Screaming what sounded like a name. And his lore states he wants to forget that girl as that's all he remembers.

I think rio, or the “mutation”, may have been what was used to create shimmer. And shimmer, along with much more, used to create warwick
So who’s here after that Season 2 trailer dropped?
I came from the future to tell you your prediction was correct
"You were there..." probably refers to either Powder collapsing at his body after the bomb, or Jinx being in Singed's lab when she got her shimmer infusion. Reminder that we see Warwick's body already there at the end of season one.
when vander got up from the explosion to fight silco he saw the monkeybomb head on the floor so i think he knows it was powder who blew it up it even had the jinx style graffiti on it
It is He is talking about singes workshop he jinx there and she saw him too they both have lines talking about forgetting it
This actually predicted it bro. Good job
feelsbad i really wanted vander to be a character for the entire show what an absolute sigma gigaChad beautiful man and character he was. Not to mention the absolute perfect voice acting. whoever his VA is god damn you have such a perfect voice and perfect delivery/talent/skill for these types of characters.
He's voiced by JB Blanc, who also voiced Kano in mk11!

1:25 the fear in your eyes is from season 2 episode 5 when vi yells vander just as ww charges at her and vander s memories pop up
Who's here after act 2 of season 2?
THEY CALLED HIM CRAZY
This is so good! But I think the time he saw fear in her eyes is when she first saw him juiced up on the purple stuff, looking like a monster. He freaked out when he saw her face and started howling in episode 3.
It's happening, singed doing experiment with the wolf
Bro actually predicted it
Also take a look at Vander's right arm, the one silco slashed
Now take a look at warwicks right arm, the weaker one that broke and needed a claw to be surgically attached???
In lore, singed turns a human being into a werewolf so im guessing thats probably Vander also he performs cruel experiments on warwick attaches tubes of chemicals on his back and replaces his arm with a mechanical arm, all in while warwick was alive and he would pass out again and again from the pain
Oh crap, that's actually such a good detail
@@tron-8140 damn
@@itsreyo Not a werewolf, a chimera. He has the DNA of multiple creatures spliced together
Here from the future and I have news
Here before this blows up and ends up in everyone’s for you page again because of the Arcane season 2 teaser
Anybody saying he had vision: He's not blind, it was clear as day.
2:28 WW says that he runs these streets, Vander was running the pub in zaun
Here after watching act 2 …. Bro’s a genius
I'm so glad I'm watching this video after the s2 reveal (I've no idea about league's lore outside of arcane) because I would have been PISSED at this spoiler
ive come here to say my jaw dropped so hard in episode four
welp this age like fine wine
Not to mention during the last fight for vander, they showed him using iron knuckles as his weapon which is the closest and most believable weapon that is similar to warwicks claws
“Zaun gave me claws long before you did”
and silco stabbed vander's arm, ww's mechanical claw thingy is possibly for that weak arm
I thought it's iron knuckles because he's used to the metal gauntlets
Plot twist: Vander is Sett
When Warwick told Vi: "Zaun needed you", it is probably referring to her becoming a champion of Piltover in the later stages of the lore.
And not to mention about Singed's story of when he created Warwick. His art cover had the shadowed specimen hanging in chains and it looked very similar to Vander in his mutated form.
So does Project Warwick. The face looks very Vander-y. Just with bushier eyebrows.
1:58 he never saw powder, but he probably recognized the monkey
While Warwick was reworked, there was a series of Singe's journal entries posted about a man he was experimenting on with an illustration showing his subject hanging from the ceiling of his lab. The man on the ceiling is obscured but has plenty of similarities to Vander. There's another story that was posted with Warwick's update that contains his scattered thoughts and memories in which he occasionally describes two girls who are undoubtedly Vi and Jinx.
0:08 In the german-dub version of arcane they call him wolf-hound of zhaun !
The day has come, you are right..
Who's here after watching season2 epispde 6😭🤡
Isha, powder, they’re gone for good now
Fu Jayce, he is truly the starlord of arcane
I am also ANOTHER WEEK TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NOOOOOO!!! PLEASE LET VI AND JINX STILL BE SISTERS!!!
@@Garagelab164I hope so too man, they almost made up and Jayce had to fuck it all up.
@@Jojowrryyyy Jayce didn't fuck it up. No matter what would happen, Vander gonna be lost entirely to Warwick's mindset. If not because of Victor's death by his sacrifice, Jayce or the army, then because of Singed's mixture.
@@JojowrryyyyJayce made the right decision. Victor was on some dark magic thing, when every of his people die alongside him. He was becoming a Monster,a false prophet.
Well,this aged like fine wine.
Well here we are, Vander has been confirmed to be Warwick and I am bawling
3 years later, and today it’s actually true
Aged like fine wine
The funny thing is Vander looks like one of those classic movie characters from way back when that would normally turn into a were-wolf.
Wolverine like looks kekw
I can now imagine what they are going to pull with Warwick now.
Vi, now demotivated from having lost her sister, gets to have her heart torn open again to see her father turn into a monster. Only for him to somehow remember her, but not fully there.
A neverending struggle for someone who wishes to save.
You forgot when he's in Hulk mode and screams "Silco!" He sounds EXACTLY like in-game Warwick.
I think the "The fear in your eyes, I've seen it before" voiceline of Warwick actually referts to when Vander was forced to use shimmer and beat up that thug on the doorframe, realizing what he is doing and turning away from Vi
bro was cooking
Vander was the "hound of the underground," basically the head honcho of Zaun. The biggest thing that makes me feel as though Vander is Warwick is the 1 line Warwick says; "I ran these streets -..."
Other quotes: "I became the monster I always was," Vander considered himself to be a "bad" person during the civil war days, so he wanted to change himself, to keep Zaun safer.
7 Reasons why Vander might be Warwick
SPOILERS obiv
2. When vander 'died' he had close resemblance to warwicks figure after ingesting the purple stuff
3. Vander picks up the other purple guy in a similar fashion to how Warwick picked up the chem baron after he was killed in his own cinematic
4. If it is revealed that Warwick is Vander rito would have made the line 'Who taught you how to punch?' To VI ironic - remember Warwick doesn't remember much of his past life.
5. Warwick says 'I ran these streets, (now its your turn to run)' . So did Vander, coincidence?
6. If you turned on subs you could see singed was one of the characters who 'died' in the ep 3 blast before officially revealing it was singed and a good 60% of singed lore is Warwick whom coincidentally dies in the same place as vander
You sir are a saint
I remembered in Warwick lore or in somewhere he said that he heard a little girl screaming a name. I could be wrong
i mean riot created the story they can easily match arcane to their character lore. and thats why i firmly beleive vander is warwick. they knew when they made the rework they wanted warwick to be something with zauns cahracters. and now they gave it a front with arcane
@@EpicTacoSenpai i mena warwick was made of someone and its like 70% sure its vander so i doubt its anyone else
From Warwicks bio too, which gives even more evidence:
"He saw a bearded man reflected in the eyes of a beggar as he tore out his throat. The other man looked somber, somehow familiar; there were scars on his arms."
The scars on the arms are maybe the scars he got from Silco, and Vander is bearded in Arcane.
