Do you think this drone would take some decent shots for like a video? I am going to a camp soon and we want a short shot over the camp so I’m not sure if the camera is the best on this or not.
I have two Holy Stone drones, the 175D which I got for under 200 dollars it has a 4k camera, gps,and brushless motors. My normal flight time is around 20 minutes per battery and they give you 2 batteries. They also have great customer service if you ever have a problem.

Hey hey I have a holystone beginner drone. Little thing takes a licking, the first 10 minutes I crashed it 17 times. Into walls ✔️ Into cable lines ✔️ Slammed into a gravel parking lot ✔️ 50 foot or so drop onto blacktop ✔️ 4 cars ✔️ Bounced off a metal building ✔️ Thing is almost indestructible and I highly recommend holystone drones. Well built, doesn't have all the bells and whistles but a fantastic drone to get comfortable with the controls.
Nice to see you testing a drone again guys. I'm not a great lover of cars, boats and planes so I very rarely comment on those videos. Not greatly impressed with this $100 drone as I believe there are better choices out there, even if it means the camera has less pixels. This offering looks very much like the SJRC Z5 but without the GPS that the Z5 has (with very little extra expense). There is another drone that is very similar to this drone but it has 'optical flow' as well. Still luvvin' the Hubsan H502E you guys recommended and I see Hubsan have brought out some new 'mini' folding ones. Hope you all are keeping well and much luv the 'wee one' and Popeye :) Tc and hope to see more drone reviews soon :)

Got mine today i would say this is a practice drone, my only complaint is gps. Trying to keep this thing level and forward is good practice . I crashed multiple times but i still have it in my possession 😂
Pretty good deal for what it is honestly. Would like to see the actual footage of the drone (fullscreen) instead of screen recording if you aren't showing us anything in the app. That way people can see what REAL footage is and what to expect if they should buy it. Are you guys going to be getting the new Autel drones to try out?
Yeah normally we try to full screen what the SD card recorded and I thought I did show that near the beginning of the flight at least once. The issue was that it was recording at a faster rate than the screen recorder, so in the playback the two didn't match up at all. Therefore when I showed the SD card footage it was "ahead" of what was happening in real time so it didn't make any sense as far as what was being displayed. I posted words on screen three times to try and help make some sense of this. Best I could do for this little drone 😁 I hope my explanation makes sense 👍😎⚓
Nice review! It's a good value at $110 since it comes with two batteries. I just bought my first camera drone in the summer, the DJI Mini 2. Are you guys going to review the new DJI Mini SE? It's $300 and comes with a battery (but not a charger). I'd say it's the best "budget" camera drone right now.
That is so strange that it doesn't come with a charger, right!? I have thought about it... but it just feels repetitive I guess? Even the new Mavic 3 doesn't have us very excited.. plus that pricetag!! 😬😬😬

Nate when you do your reviews of drones could please include the flying weight as here in the UK(England) there is a 250gm limit which makes a purchase choice very important. Love the videos. I tend to be into boats these days, getting to old for flying 👨🏻🦳😉. My first few flight years were control line, then stepped up to single channel valve radio! Would have loved a safe mode (or as I call it ‘Help!!!’) button when I went to 6 channel r/c glow powered flying!
Sounds like you've really made the mist out of this awesome hobby through the years! I will do my best to remember to mention flying weight, however it really is geographically motivated and I tend to brush over that sort of content in our videos as it would be nearly impossible to know everyone's "rules?" all over the world. Even here in the States things change so often I don't know how anyone can keep up with it all. We do our best to link the product in at least two different locations. One in our video description box and the other in a pinned comment so if weight or dimensions are important to a person, they can very easily be found on the product page. We tend to focus a lot more on the user experience I suppose in our videos. I've always felt like "statistics" hold me back and keep me from having fun. I don't mean to come across any certain way, but NOT reading off the spec sheet was one of and still is the motivating factor behind our channel! Amazing how drones got cheaper and cheaper, but better and better for a while. But not now. It seems to be going backwards at the cheap end. Last drone I bought was a Bugs 5w about 3 years ago for $99 with 2 batteries. And with GPS, brushless motors and pivoting camera, not to mention MJX reliablility, it blows this Holy Stone away for less. But now I see it on Amazon for way over $200.

Hey guys, quick question. I cannot decide between the 110d and this 440. Would it be correct to assume that that 110d is more performance oriented? I know the 110d is older and the camera is probably not that good but they updated the controller and gave it slightly larger batteries plus it can do flips lol. Which one would you suggest to a ground vehicle guy and why?

I personally don't care too much for brushed motors in drones -- I just seem to have rotten luck regarding product lifetime; a few dozen flights *TOPS* and then I have to dispose of the drone (I have MS which takes out my fine motor control and subsequently makes repairs impossible). The drones that I currently fly are all brushless. At this moment, the only drones I have in flyable condition are a Contixo F24 (a copy of the SJR/C F11) and a Holy Stone HS550. I recently purchased a Holy Stone HS175D from Ebay but it arrived defective and cannot be flown. 🎊

Is there any special license if I'm gonna fly with camera on it. . I do have all my planes registered that are over the weight . question man why is it that some drones have choppy footage or just not great video some drones say there like 1080p but it really looks like its 360 or worse is it the wifi or what is it?

The brushed motors kinda puts the kibash on this drone for me. 😵 I've always had terrible luck with brushed motor drones in that their usable life is rather brief -- a few dozen flights tops. 👎😟😖

Nate i bought a holy stone drone 2nd flignt it disappeared in the day light ! First flight was at night the light's were bright and Ray Charles could of seen it lol but i should of stuck with flying at night ! It was the black n red HS 200 !
No Nate what happened was the drone was drifting to the left and i was trying to correct it by using the trim and when i was watching the drone it lined up with the sun and i was blinded and couldn't see nothing for almost 5 minutes by the time i was able to see it was gone ! Pulled a Houdini on me lol i looked around till it got dark about 20 minutes after regaining my sight then the next day i looked in every direction and never found it Nate so i think i will not buy another drone ! Just stick with plane's and truck's 👍 😂 😂! But i want to thank you and Abby because if i never got on UTUBE i wouldn't be complaining about the drone lol i watched you and Abby and i took your advice and bought a aero scout the big one and love it then a small f4u and you were definitely right on both of them but the small f4u is a really fun plane to fly ! I can't believe how fast the drones prices have increased. Amazon is charging $140 now only one month after this video was posted. I think I'll wait till after Christmas sales to see if the price comes down
I just got my F11S. I powered up the drone and connected to the controller a couple of times. Now the ESCs process will not complete. I get the three beeps followed by one long beep but the second long beep will not play, so the drone will not power on. Ever had that happen to a drone?

Yeah we think so too. The economy has changed a lot in the last year or so and we just have to realize this is what you can get for about $100 now from Amazon. Ofcourse there are better drones out there but they are going to cost a bit more money. Happy Flying! 👍😎⚓

@@TheRcSaylors it didn't want to hover. Even after doing the 360 calibration inside and trying to make it hover inside. I know it's not you guys fault but it kinda was a dud for me.
@@Gmcworrior1 You may want to try calibration outside as buildings may not give you the best calibration. Also flying it out side to see if it’s more stable. Best of luck with it. It’s not fun when your R/C is not working like it should.
Chris Bruce is right. Never calibrate your drone inside, ever. Also, you probably shouldn't fly your drone inside. There is so much interfering with the drone inside. It's actually "advised" to not have a large belt buckle on or anything metal like a large set of keys in your pockets while calibrating your drone as it could interfere with the process! I think if you go outside to calibrate and fly on a calm day you will see a night and day difference. The further away you are from metal fences and buildings and cars, the better 👍😁😎⚓
I guess that is why we make these videos! For someone like yourself, that has the extra funds but also certain expectations of a $100 drone, it's a good idea to watch videos on it before you buy it 👍😁⚓
Oh, you must only watch a handful of our videos. There are literally hundreds of drones on our channel that we straight up tell people not to buy, as well as many airplanes. We show things crashing when it happens and things breaking. Honestly, you should watch more of our drone videos. It got so bad at one point, we made a video telling companies to stop making so many junk drones!

Should be fine as long as you stick to stuff below 250 grams, no need to register in that case.
You can get a used dji spark for a little more and its a way better drone.

they had wind, this is a sub 250g. Meaning it's light. This will happen to all of the light drones like that.
question man why is it that some drones have choppy footage or just not great video some drones say there like 1080p but it really looks like its 360 or worse is it the wifi or what is it?

The brushed motors kinda puts the kibash on this drone for me. 😵
I've always had terrible luck with brushed motor drones in that their usable life is rather brief -- a few dozen flights tops. 👎😟😖

Nate i bought a holy stone drone 2nd flignt it disappeared in the day light ! First flight was at night the light's were bright and Ray Charles could of seen it lol but i should of stuck with flying at night ! It was the black n red HS 200 !

No Nate what happened was the drone was drifting to the left and i was trying to correct it by using the trim and when i was watching the drone it lined up with the sun and i was blinded and couldn't see nothing for almost 5 minutes by the time i was able to see it was gone ! Pulled a Houdini on me lol i looked around till it got dark about 20 minutes after regaining my sight then the next day i looked in every direction and never found it Nate so i think i will not buy another drone ! Just stick with plane's and truck's 👍 😂 😂! But i want to thank you and Abby because if i never got on UTUBE i wouldn't be complaining about the drone lol i watched you and Abby and i took your advice and bought a aero scout the big one and love it then a small f4u and you were definitely right on both of them but the small f4u is a really fun plane to fly ! So peace,love and happiness to you Nate and your family !!!

I just got my F11S. I powered up the drone and connected to the controller a couple of times. Now the ESCs process will not complete. I get the three beeps followed by one long beep but the second long beep will not play, so the drone will not power on. Ever had that happen to a drone?
Does anyone know if there's a way to record ONLY onto the SD card instead of recording on both the phone and the card? Thanks in advance!

Yeah we think so too. The economy has changed a lot in the last year or so and we just have to realize this is what you can get for about $100 now from Amazon. Ofcourse there are better drones out there but they are going to cost a bit more money. Happy Flying! 👍😎⚓

@@TheRcSaylors it didn't want to hover. Even after doing the 360 calibration inside and trying to make it hover inside. I know it's not you guys fault but it kinda was a dud for me.
@@Gmcworrior1 You may want to try calibration outside as buildings may not give you the best calibration. Also flying it out side to see if it’s more stable. Best of luck with it. It’s not fun when your R/C is not working like it should.
Chris Bruce is right. Never calibrate your drone inside, ever. Also, you probably shouldn't fly your drone inside. There is so much interfering with the drone inside. It's actually "advised" to not have a large belt buckle on or anything metal like a large set of keys in your pockets while calibrating your drone as it could interfere with the process! I think if you go outside to calibrate and fly on a calm day you will see a night and day difference. The further away you are from metal fences and buildings and cars, the better 👍😁😎⚓

Oh, you must only watch a handful of our videos. There are literally hundreds of drones on our channel that we straight up tell people not to buy, as well as many airplanes. We show things crashing when it happens and things breaking. Honestly, you should watch more of our drone videos. It got so bad at one point, we made a video telling companies to stop making so many junk drones!
