    I know this is 2 years old but THANK YOU. My mentor is teaching me this way but after my first day on the floor boy do I need more help. Everyone on UA-cam fades bottom up even if they say top down. Bless you ❤

    Thanks for this video man! I started using this method months ago and I prefer this 100x more than creating lines and I've only been getting compliments. This method is very underrated.

    Perfect. I have only one question. Can we use this method on a V shape skin fade? I am an old fashioned barber and always start from top to bottom. Thanx guys

    This is a great tutorial. Did I understand it correctly that you use the n.2, the n.1.5 and the n.0.5 closed only?

    • @730gweezy
      @730gweezy  7 місяців тому

      Yes, I never open my .5 guard. 2 is the highest guard I ever use. And rarely now do I use my 1.5 guard. I’ll use my open 1 and closed 1 then my .5

    This is the way the pro barbers in my shop fade and it’s way faster and cleaner than doing guidelines. But they go all around and work down. However, I feel you have to already be a good barber to use this method if you learned the other way first. I would recommend learning this way first.

      I always teach the guide lines first then once they can do it without leaving lines in teach that way

    Are you using the corners and whole blade with every blade? Is there any space in between guards your setting or you using every guard on top of each other?

    • @730gweezy
      @730gweezy  5 місяців тому

      I’ll use the whole blade At first then start using the corners as I see some darker spots.

    • @730gweezy
      @730gweezy  5 місяців тому +1

      When I get down to the .5 guard, and lower. I really only use the corners

    Thats how id fade my hair in jail. No lines. With razor and comb starting from the top and working to the bottom. Comes out clean

    Does the ceramic blade on the séniors help with them getting too hot and staying cooler

      To tell you the truth, I haven’t used the wall clippers in a while, I use all the stylecraft and gamma tools.
      If you’d like my discount code on the website for stylecraft I can give it to you.

    For the guard 2, guard 1 1/2, guard 1 did you do open and closed and half way? Also does this work on any type if hair like black hair?

    • @jakehughes735
      @jakehughes735 2 роки тому

      No
      Just use the 2 guard closed
      11/2 guard closed (optional) instead you can use 1 open
      1 guard closed
      And yes it will work on any hair type

    • @730gweezy
      @730gweezy  2 роки тому

      For sure it works in all types of hair. The only guard I open and close is my 1 guard

    • @jakehughes735
      @jakehughes735 2 роки тому

      @@730gweezy the only guard I open and close is the number 1
      Because I don’t use the 11/2 guard

    For us mid 30s men who have maybe a Norwood 2 or 3. Recession. How would you go about fading that up with covering some of the recession without making it look funny. With a tight fade. That would be a good video.

    • @MovieGasm
      @MovieGasm 2 роки тому

      Using longer hair on the top.

    • @730gweezy
      @730gweezy  2 роки тому

      You can keep the fade lower and leave more bulk on top
