Say Bossio, I appreciate this video. I hear and see the other you tub barbras say they are down fading when in actuality, they are using both methods of down fading and fading up. With respect to Beam, 360 and even Fonz because i watch him a lot to although my boy Fonz pursued the wrong career. He's a helleva editor. They all get the job done but this one here. This cut was actually and literally faded DOWN!!!! 🔥🔥🔥

I’ve just started to cut my own hair at home, I’ve got a half decent fade going but I’m not there yet, can you or someone advise when you say you shave right below the previous guard like how much of the 1.5 for example am I supposed to leave? Like half an inch of a 1.5, half an inch of a 1 etc or is my transition from 0 to 1.5 a small size? Any help would be appreciated

I fade up first then clean it up as I stack my guards coming back down fading down is confusing to me if you don’t remember where you left off. But if it works for you power to you ✊🏾

What’s the best fade technique to master? Up fading or down fading and is it good to start out with a balding guideline when you’re first starting out because I sometimes struggle to get rid of the bottom guideline between the open to bald.
The best fade technique to master is all preference and what you initially start with in the beginning of your barber experience in my opinion. For getting rid of that open to bald section you juss need to be aware not to take your trimmer up too high or your shaver and if so put the lever from closed to open using lever play. Idk that’s what works for me maybe it’ll work for you
