Magnus seems like such a nice and humble guy. Somehow he manages to be entertaining while not being hyperactive and taking up a lot of attention like other “influencers”. Respect, Magnus
Viktor Abenius wow, that could not have been better said. 100% agree, he’s become one of my favorite people on planet earth. There’s just no one else like him. And have you even seen his sister?🔥🔥🔥😍
Referring to yourself an "influencer", calling your viewers "fans", as well calling your videos "content" and all these such things feels extremely narcissistic to me. I'm sure there must be others who agree with this, or is it just my inner Scandinavian talking here? Edit: I'm very much under the impression that Magnus agrees with this, which is partly why I really enjoy his videos. He really does not seem like a person who is full of himself, which is a very positive thing.
Magnus, you are an inspiration as a human being. It’s obvious you take pride in everything you do. Video quality, climbing, and attitude. Please never stop.
There was one where his camera man was climbing and I was thinking that. There is something nice about watching someone struggle and succeed at the end
I was sitting on my recommended page and was wondering why the V8 is hard and the thumbnail showed a rock. I've never heard anyone refer to an engine as the "worlds hardest". Conclusion this video is not indeed about a V8 engine.
I love how Magnus apologizes in his descriptions, you can really tell he is passionate about the film making he does. And no need to apologize Magnus this was a fantastic video!
Magnus, I've gotten into climbing the last six months and absolutely love it. Your videos and your attitude have been a huge inspiration as a new climber. I respect the hell out of your humility and love the content you're producing. I hope, in some way, you see this and know that you're setting a great example for people from all walks of life who share a common love of climbing. Looking forward to the rest, cheers from Seattle!
From a California offwidth climber...I love watching these videos. Glad you've got an appreciation for this stuff dude. It's a cage fight versus a ballet compared to say slab climbing or whatever else...I love the brutality of it.
Genuinely incredible how Pete can talk Magnus through the (v8) boulder problem while he is in the middle of hanging on it. Shows how strong he really is at what he does.
Once you are in a fully jammed position, you often can just relax. Here: Hanging from feet, hanging from 1 foot + 1 stemming the wall, and chicken wing in. Basically you try to move from full jam to next full jam (not always possible, some jams are still exhausting). Comparable to hands free rest points in wall climbing.
Great video! Thank you for keeping your content climbing-centric as the channel continues to blow up instead of going for more feats of strength and clickbait challenges.
Hey Magnus, I am sure you will never see this comment, but by the off chance that you do, I discovered your videos 1 week ago, and I think I have watched almost half of your videos already. I am loving your enthusiasm, and your video editing. It is motivating me to get back on the wagon for my videos, and to become more fit for my sport, which isn't Rock Climbing. I do want to get into climbing, but there isn't a lot for me in my area right now. Thanks so much for everything that you do!
This is adorable to see Magnus learning and not needing to make excuses and such, just learning and trying hard. And always, WideBoyz being so good, strong and helpful. Would have been fun to see hands in crack at some point, but still very good filming and sound despite wind.
Damn, I could listen to Pete talking all day. Like a Crack King, teaching his subjects about the ancient art of squeezing your body into tight spaces and ascending. Thank you for this, Magnus. There's nothing quite like outdoor climbing, especially nowadays.
The ramshaw layby is a very special place for me. Because ramshaw is always super windy, you just setup everything in the car and wait to go to the crag. So relatable
I love this series with the Wide Boyz, and this video continues the high quality. The music selections are excellent. The teaching and learning process is great to see.
Been watching your videos since the beginning and it's amazing to see the progression of the channel. Also this series has definitely opened up my mind to crack climbing.
It does not always need epic drone shots and other things for a nice video. And i guess it´s normal that outside the conditions for filming are worse than indoors, so don´t worry. Watching you try hard on this boulder was fun. Love watching your videos.
Had a shitty day and couldn't get out to boulder. Then I see Magnus has a new video up. Thanks for cheering me up and nice job sending that boulder! :) I tried some cracks the other day and failed so hard XD
It's funny to see she trained crack with Pete because of a crack problem during bouldering season and the same happened yesterday for the men during the final in Meringen. Adam Ondra was the only one to top out M4 because no one else trained this style.
It’s amazing to see the things people can do. Very cool video. Also, thank you for listing the songs used in the description, I really liked “Uplifter” and wanted to know it!
Your editing is amazing dude. Also the Peak district is just up the road from me, despite the shit weather I hope it was a good experience. There's some awesome looking boulders / routes around the place :)
Magnus, I've never climbed crack, but this series with wide boys has produced some of my favorite climbing videos of all time. Thanks for pushing the boundaries, you're inspiring us to do the same.
What I love about Magnus that he is always seeking for new things to learn and persists on his way to his goal. Great improvement, congratulations, Magnus!
That's great a new technique. Bringing more of your leg(s) into the mix is awesome! Would love to see you do some of your climbs with your head pointing down the whole time.
Brilliant to see you working so hard at my local crag! You've inspired me to give some of the more brutal classics a go... May bring the training squad to for a good day out
Having twisted my knee once, watching this is PTSD inducing. Big respect guys for not hurting yourself and still loving this activity. Also, i'm not gonna watch 127 hours again.
Googled that guy doing flips and kicking flamingos. Found Juji, watched a few videos, watched some more, Tom cracks me up, watched some more. Oh hey there's a collab with a climber. Magnus seems like a great guy. Let's check out his channel. Climbing looks fun. Been bouldering for two months now, it is consuming me. Hook, line, sinker. Keep up the great work, high quality content and editing there :)
"You get to hang out in sunny places for surfing"... Hate to break it to you, but where I come from, you suit up in lots of rubber and surf in 10 degree water. And it's the same in the UK, not as glamorous as you might think hahaha.
I know nothing about rock climbing, nor have I seen much of it, but Magnus seems like such a genuine person that I am now just watching all his videos...
Well done dude 🤘 your definitely a crack climber at heart 😉 Pete is such a nice guy , and Tom ! You should go on a crack climbing trip with them , El cap epic or ,,, you should all go for the silence 😎
For anyone interested they are at the Winking Witch on the Buxton to Leek Road theres a pub opposite called the Winking Man theres a great line of rocks an in summer they farm Llamas in the fields behind there :D
Magnus, Det skulle vara "sick" om du någon gång fick möjlighet att jämföra armstyrka med typ en schimpans som i "man vs beast" du är en inspiration! keep it up!

I wouldn’t call magnus an influencer
True, but I am also biased/Norwegian. :)

Joseph Rock 100th like js
Joseph Rock I know, right! If he’d been put on the Earth as a deep fat fryer he’d be no less so.
i like this series because we get to watch magnus not flash every climb

What an amazing combo of keywords to end up on your recommended page about! But one could say this V8 is a cracked block
Hahahaha

"I love the brutality of it" sums up crack climbing just about right. Gonna tease my friends with it :-)
ballet is brutal, trust me
This has been the best collaboration and series yet. I look forward to each new video!
Lovely people! The desert series was just as good IMO.

Crack-bouldering is something I rarely get to see, I really appreciate the closer look, thanks for sharing!

I love the never give up attitude, and Pete and Magnus both have it. Again, nice work!
Finally, video is out ! Thought you got stuck in a crack :D
Qbic#175 you mean stuck in the den addicted to crack
Nicholas Ovel I would describe that basement as a den, but i see your point
Thank you Magnus for inspiring me to get off my ass and keep pushing.
Im not into crack climbing and I doubt I will ever be really... But this is just amazing and so much fun to watch!
Really enjoying this series, it's great to see Magnus stepping way outside his comfort zone and try new things. Respect 👍
I would love to try that out. You are really aging like wine magnus!
Not all wine ages well... lmao
Ryan Tandy what... would have said 35 at least... Sorry magnus
@@probablynotabigtoe9407 Ikr... There is lots of wine that will go bad after a few years...
Loved this Magnus. The wide boyz seem like awesome guys, nice to watch them with you
The climb is called Melvyn Bragg. As a huge “In Our Time” fan, this combined with Pete and Magnus made for a perfect Thursday video.
I love this series with the Wide Boyz, and this video continues the high quality. The music selections are excellent. The teaching and learning process is great to see.
Been watching your videos since the beginning and it's amazing to see the progression of the channel. Also this series has definitely opened up my mind to crack climbing.
4:20 Love the little homage to Lord of the Rings! "I can't carry you Magnus, but i can carry your mat!"

just watched pete teaching shauna coxey climbing the exact same thing like two minutes ago
Franz vA damn, you beat me to it
It's funny to see she trained crack with Pete because of a crack problem during bouldering season and the same happened yesterday for the men during the final in Meringen. Adam Ondra was the only one to top out M4 because no one else trained this style.
Awesome video Magnus. I love seeing how you throw yourself at new things and don't get deterred!
It’s amazing to see the things people can do. Very cool video. Also, thank you for listing the songs used in the description, I really liked “Uplifter” and wanted to know it!
Crazy seeing you around the places I grew up Magnus!
I dont know if somebody told you this, but your camera skills have improved big time, great job you blogy climber!
Absolutely loving this series with Pete and Tom. Dare I say Magnus is picking up a bit of dry, Northern humour?
It's fun watching you try this new style of climbing and struggle with it! Haha. I've never thought of crack climbing so these videos are pretty cool!
Got my first 11B today! Thanks for being so helpful with your videos, I watch every one!

Just revisited this video, and was smiling the whole way through! Really seems like you guys have a lot of fun suffering together :-)
Magnus, I've never climbed crack, but this series with wide boys has produced some of my favorite climbing videos of all time. Thanks for pushing the boundaries, you're inspiring us to do the same.
Pete's laugh is infectious - great video as per normal!!
i hope you got shown more than this whilst in the uk!
You actually did really well with your first try. It's not like I would know but still. It looked like it deserved an A for effort.
Wonder if this will be top comment as all your other comments lol
What I love about Magnus that he is always seeking for new things to learn and persists on his way to his goal. Great improvement, congratulations, Magnus!
Yet another inspiring vlog. Great fun to see even the best struggle with the cracks. :-) Thanks for the channel Magnus.
I love the attitude of Magnus, with the optimism in adversities, such admiration of you.
I always look forward to your uploads, thanks for the awesome content!
That's great a new technique. Bringing more of your leg(s) into the mix is awesome! Would love to see you do some of your climbs with your head pointing down the whole time.

Love the content and climbing as usual, just wanted to say your thumbnail and editing work is really paying off now!
Such physical strength and endrance needed for this sport fun to watch.
Preview at the end, very smart, I am totally hooked and ready to see the next video
the best climbing vlog on youtube
12:29 Magnus Ninja chopping that stone must have hurt o.o
Hurt the stone right?
Here in The Netherlands, "Dikes/Dijken" started leaking because of some mysterious Earthquake-like vibrations coming from the UK.
Short and sweet boulder problem, well done Magnus! :)
Thanks again Juji !
Having twisted my knee once, watching this is PTSD inducing. Big respect guys for not hurting yourself and still loving this activity. Also, i'm not gonna watch 127 hours again.
Classic example of never giving up, congrats man!

Got to love some crack climbing at ramshaw rocks so nice there on a sunny day can chill for hours with mates
Love your videos! I was expecting some Rocky soundtrack during hand taping 😂
I know nothing about rock climbing, nor have I seen much of it, but Magnus seems like such a genuine person that I am now just watching all his videos...
