I agree 10000000% with you adri. Folks that stay together for the sake of the child or children create more damage than good. Some parents do not understand how attentative kids are, way smarter than they think so when you are unhappy in your relationship don't stick in it and be miserable. Walk away and be happy and Co parent.
Children are far more in tune then parents think they are. It's better for parents to to separate while things are somewhat civil

My parent's relationship was a disaster. And My Mom stayed because of me. But I wish she didn't. That way I would nt have the memories of a man mistreating a woman. I love them both tho .
Being someone who was in a single parent home for a while, I think that separation is necessary if you are not stable with the other person. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON you should stay and put on a show for the children if you don't get along. It's not worth it, it's not healthy. My parents got back together and they made it work even for us while apart. You can still allow them to have fun and be loved while you are apart.
For the people who cant watch the actual show. Tamar couldnt come today because she had to do the red carpet event for the soul train awards!

I actually agree with Adrienne. You don't have to stay together to make the children happy, because if you are a caring,loving, and hard-working parent, the children will be happy. Plus the parents won't have to waste years together with someone they don't want to be with, and spend them with someone who they will love. As long as the children see the parents have respect for each other, they will be happy. Trust and believe.
FINALLY! The women can actually speak on a topic without TAMAR cutting them off in the middle of their statements! Glad she was absent that day. I love the real, but sometimes her little "ghetto girl catch phrases" get annoying after awhile.

I completely agree with Adrian. In a lot of cases, its better to come from a broken than live in one. Personal experience tells me so.
The show matches its name today real talk with Chilli and the ladies. The air did not have the stress feel. Everyone seems comfortable and can be themselves.

Theres staying together for the kids and co-parenting. You can stay in the same house and live separate social lives while still cooking family dinners. If the environment is toxic than yes 1 move but it's about a better life for kids and 2 parent homes is more advantageous
I noticed some hidden blame towards her dad. Mom wasn’t happy=poor mom= mom was the victim= it was dad fault. Bottom line, a woman would never admit she chased her husband away!
I didn't miss Tamar in this clip until I scrolled down and saw the comments saying she wasn't there. Maybe it was because this was a serious and "real" talk from Adrienne, but it felt a lot more open and relaxed imo.

FINALLY, Adrienne actually brings something to the show! I think she vibes well with the rest of the cast but she never offers anything of substinence in my opinion. She seems really immature, and her opinions and views seem a bit jaded, unfounded, and without any merit. I do like her though but she does come off as a follower, especially with Tamar.
I feel like she has standard dry answers to everything or its super predictable

I believe parents should stay if they have children. What are they talking about. Not saying you can't love a child that's not yours. But a step parent is never the same as your real mum or dad. I hear so much stories about children getting abused by people living in the house that are not their own parents. If u have a child take responsibility.
You completely missed the point.. If the couple are unhappy in the marriage/relationship the children will see it, in turn making the children unhappy. No one should be raised in an unhappy unstable environment. So no, the parents shouldn't stay together JUST because they have kids together, everyone in the home deserves to be happy. If that means being in another relationship then so be it.

A child needs love and stability. A single parent can provide that much like two can and if you can't then you shouldn't have had kids in the first place. Harsh but true. There is 0 logic in staying with someone because you feel obligated. That's not love or healthy for you, or the kids and that's not a lesson anyone should be taught growing up.
I would rather be raised in a single parent home than a dysfunctional two parent home and the latter is what I grew up in. The constant arguing and fighting. My siblings and I would often be dragging into the fights and it was just too much for me and I dealt with it for 18 years of my life. My father had and on and off again affair during the marriage ,my mother became clinical depressed and more.
It's not a great environment to grow up in.

By staying together until the kids go to college, at least you get to see them everyday. No custody wars. No child support. So, even if you're not in love, be cordial.

Yet again they are talking about the same topics as last season or about men. Yes, we know three of you are happily married but come on there's more things to talk about.
They weren't on a national TV network "last season" LOL. This season they are, so they re-introducing the topics to the masses.
I personally don't mind. Some of us didn't see last season. It just became nationally televised this season, so these topics are new to me and others. I used to watch their YT clips, and loved it. Now that I can watch whole eps, I love the show even more. I'm glad they're rehashing topics, but I can see why it may be an annoying repeat to you.
