Thanks know its working i dont know how the Ice maker need to be reset when you use it more Ice .
I reset it, tray does the cycle, puts water in but thats it. It never dispenses once it freezes. Any thoughts?
hi there , i had no ice, replaced the valves on the door , when pressed the test button , the ice maker does the cycle but when it comes to the water , i can hear the main valve in the back open , but not water to the ice maker, keep in mind that water it comes from the dispencere , water line to ice maker clear, could the the whole ice maker is bad ?

The problem is that the refrigerator is not cooling enough, that is why it is not making ice. Condenser or compressor is broken. It is a major problem. Is the refrigerator cooling enough to make ice?
@@TechGeniusHacks yes it's cooling fine ,ad I mentioned when I run yeh test and comes to water cycle for the ice maker,I can hear the main valve in the back activated and bringing water to The tank but I've Maker valve in the door it's not opening
I am having similar problem. I reset ice maker, water fill in the plastic cube but wonk make ice. Things in freezer are frozen and things in fridge are cold enough. Any thoughts
Thank God for this video. Just installed today and I kept checking for water in tray and nothing for about 6 hours. The manual says nothing about this test button. Held it down and it finally filled up. Thanks!
@@joshuaharrison8785 my problem was , you run test , you can hear the main water valve in the back open , but nothing comes to the ice maker , even the ice maker valve that's inside the door not moving , but water one that's supplies the water dispenser was ok , however , I replaced the ice maker and the valve kit inside the door , nothing happened , hate LG and sumsung fridges , seriously , the worst

There are 2 buttons right. One is for turning on and off and the other one is for reset. You need to oress and hold it 3 seconds

@@TechGeniusHacks My LG model number is LFXS24623S/00. So I press the test button nothing happens. I then press the on/off button, It's in the on position, I turn it off then turn it back on. Then the test button works. The tray fills up with water, I come back to see after being out all day and it didn't dump the ice. I have to do the on/off test button for the icemaker to dump it out. Then it fills up, the next day I do the same process. So basically I'm doing it manually. What could be the problem. Ice is in the tray but the icemaker doesn't dump it out on it's own.
@@a.c.8599 there is that metal part. When there is enough ice, it will push it up. Can you check on that?
@@TechGeniusHacks Where is the metal part? I don't know what metal part you mean. My model icemaker is the same exact one in the video. When I press the reset button nothing happens. How can I reset the reset button? Thank you in advance for your help.
