Sir please discourage such people bluntly who are selling parent's house for the sake of equity. Only a few of them would be lucky in future to buy them again. Equity had inherent risk and they don't understand that.20% CAGR is very reasonable expectation from this market unless you are able to catch some multibagger stock with concentration.
Avoid selling your parent home until and unless there is emergency in your family. If u have self home then you can sell. Property price will always increase. So don't think you can buy later with money u have earned. Market is highly volatile..

I have been watching your shows since the start. It’s really wonderful to feel the pulse of India in your show….ghar ghar ki kahani hai…I live in US but I do not invest in stocks directly. Most American investment in market is through their 401k, IRA or other retirement vehicles. In India it seems that this is opposite. People invest directly in stocks and are hereby more exposed to loose money. These people can never fight with robo-advisors who use supercomputers for trading.

Sir, What are your thoughts about government taking debt through sovereign gold bond? It's a costly debt in long term, isn't it? You once mentioned that the gold is a hedge against inflation. Indian government's inflation target is 4%, additionally government pays 2.5% interest to the SGB bond holder every year. At the end of the period government settles the bond at the market price. I think government is getting itself into a costly debt.
