I've had this "What if" idea bouncing around in my head for about a year now. What if that didn't happen? What if instead of going back home, hearing the stakes of what they were doing instead gave her the wake-up call to grow up and become someone who could help them on their quest instead of weighing them down? OK hadn't watched the video yet but I gotta say I noticed that the two requiem stands we know of have a new power that is in some way the thematic opposite of their base powers. For chariot its loss of direction like the reverse chariot arcana. For GER its something that prevents will as opposed to its life force punch that when used on a person accelerated their thoughts and by that their will.
Honestly, elaborating on your theory on Chariot Requiem's conscious use, i think it may be even more interesting if, instead of simply attaching himself to Diavolo, he might even swap Doppio with himself, leaving Diavolo without Epitath and his King Crimson now crippled as Polnareff fought him in this moment of confusion and weakness for control.
hermit purple's requiem concept is honestly perfect imo. like i imagine it being like wonder of u and just being like a sentient stand that seeks knowledge and of course the safety of it's user
Great video! I think giving new names to the "Requiem" abilities you created is better than slapping "Requiem" to it and calling it a day. Kind of like the name you gave to Jotaro's requiem stand, Star Platinum: Break Free, and to some extent, the same way Weather Report's snail ability is called Heavy Weather.
I personally like it that all stands that are Requiem stands just get it slapped on their name at the end. Sounds incredibly hard. Bites the Dust is the exception cause Killer Queen is a Queen reference in every way and form
@@Georgefloydthesneedster Honestly BTD is still up in the air as to whether it can be considered a "requiem" stand like GER or SCR or if it's a uniquely evolved stand closer to Tusk Act 4 or Echoes Act 3 or even D4CLT.
@@thatrandom_canadian it IS a requiem stand. Per definition, a requiem stand is a stand who got pierced by the arrow a second time. Just cause Bites the Dust isnt called Requiem doesnt mean hes not a requiem stand
@@Georgefloydthesneedster Ah, but it's a stand who got pierced by the arrow a second time. Killer Queen didn't get pierced that second time, Kira did, hence the ambiguity of it being a requiem stand- is it a requiem if the user gets pierced and not the stand
@@Georgefloydthesneedster The only two stands we have that are directly called "requiem" were pierced by one specific unique "requiem arrow". We've also seen a stand that would later become requiem get pierced by a normal "stand arrow" thanks to Black Sabbath, and it only caused damage to Gold Experience. Note that even an accidental pricking of the stand by the requiem arrow was enough to evolve Silver Chariot to Silver Chariot Requiem despite a normal stand arrow directly piercing into GE only caused damage. BTD I'd argue is an "evolved stand" closer to D4CLT or C-Moon/Made In Heaven than a Requiem.
Hierophant Green Requiem is just Tusk ACT 4 but with tentacles and it's somehow more terrifying than infinite rotation, it's quite literally if Notorious B.I.G and Wonder of U fused. By the way "Even if time can't defeat the man, time will create the tools to do so" is SUCH a raw line
What about adding ragnarok to the stand names? Ragnarok has multiple meanings, but the most common is “doom of the gods”. Since the Crusaders are fighting fate and the gods I think ragnarok would be a perfect fit. I don’t think it flows as well just in the way it sounds with the stand names, but it’s definitely badass and fits thematically
All of these sound amazing and busted that I'm surprised Araki hasn't made concept art for them. Would be interesting to see Requiem Stands for the Part 5 characters.
@@Jamlord2061the bullets are now in a quantum superposition where they are now guaranteed to always hit in the most damaging way; basically an active version of WoY or love trains’s lethal attack ability
Hierophant green req: beserk could be more depressing if kakyoin's soul merges with his stand, thus he is alone in a much worse way since only stand users could see him, and his family thinks he's dead when he isn't. But he will still have jotaro
I have a cooler idea: Hermit Requiem turns Joseph part vampire. Since the Ripple and vampirism are two sides of the same coin, he taps into the other side. This gives him: -Super strength, leveling to DIO -Very, very heavily accelerated levels of healing -Permanent youth (he's still mortal) -Remains impervious to the sun -Freeze shock powers used by Dio -Precognition (owing to his prediction shtick, something like 12 seconds into the future, nothing too broken) Overall, just Young Joseph with vampire abilities, better Ripple abilities and just makes him kickass once again
I like the idea of polnareff taking control of chariot requiem being basically todo in the fight against Sukuna swapping Diavolo’s soul all around to disorient him
There was a channel along the lines of “Xeno’s bizarre animations” that made a kickass requiem for mista Basically it allowed him access to the occursed missing number 4 of Sex Pistols, and anyone it punched was immedeatly cursed with infinite bad luck
I really enjoy how you integrated the tarot cards' meanings into your descriptions of the requiem stands! I loved all of them, but kakyoin's was especially interesting to me since we didn't get to see that play out in the show.
My idea for a scenario with a fully realized silver chariot requiem would be for Polnareff to take Diavolo’s soul out of his body and put it in something like a bug that’s easy to kill. He would leave Doppio’s soul in his body and because they both share the same stand in a way, both would have significantly weaker stands because the stand power is effectively split in half. Like, maybe Doppio keeps Epitaph and Diavolo keeps KC. Also, Doppio would no longer get calls from the boss, so he would no longer be able to help the boss do anything. I just think it would be a cool way for Doppio to get a better life while punishing Diavolo.
Doppio was never the stand user, Diavolo keeps epitaph even after being split from Doppio by Chariot Requiem. Diavolo is able to loan Doppio abilities of King Crimson only because they share a body.
I feel like the true form of chariot requiem, would have a blade similar in appearance to the arrow, and what it could do is use the arrow like blade to cut the stand off of a person’s soul for a short period of time
What if berserk hermit purple didn't just transfer information at random, but feed everyone around with informations that they subconsciously want at the moment? It would basically be Gojo's infinite void but the more you think, the more affected you are.
If Hermit purple needs a bit more power I think, not only would he transfer memories he can make them experience it. If we had to make it op like GER It could be like how he experiences infinite deaths, but having more control but only being from other peoples memory's he has seen before.
The simple Magicians Red. Our star platinum. The Courts The Fool(reversing the perspective of who the fool is, being whomever challenges the might of Iggy).
These are incredibly well thought out Requiems! I can really see any of these being a part of the story and not feeling shoehorned in at all. I got too many favorite Part 3 moments, but one of the more "benign" moments was in Lovers, Part 2 at the very end when Steely Dan is calling his Stand back to himself and Jotaro and eventually tried to take over that one random kid's mind/body. Even though Jotaro never communicated to Kakyoin on any sort of plan or expectation he had, completely trusted Kakyoin to pull through and have his back in the fight even though he was halfway across the city with Polnareff helping Joseph. There's more moments like that throughout all of Part 3 between Kakyoin and Jotaro that show they both really are/were good friends and respect each other even if they never directly say or show it, and I always thought that was cool to see written out so non-directly. Also helps that Kakyoin is my favorite Crusader 😅.
For Avdol, an amazing scene would be Magician's Red requiem activating once he dies. So, Cream would go to eat up his leftover hands, but then they'd burst into flame and MRR would spawn, its hands being Avdols while its own turn into flaming wings. It would be like Chariot Requiem in that it would be uncontrollable but its only goal would be protecting Iggy and Polnareff from Cream. However maybe once they beat Cream the Stand would prevent them from fighting Dio, the desire to protect them making it an obstacle on their way to Dio.
Break Free is peak, great video 👍 For Avdol, though, I was thinking about how to combine fire and Avdol's character in a thematic and conceptual way. I think Avdol, maybe more than anyone in the group, is someone who'd do anything to keep his friends alive and safe. Also, I think he has a love for life that the others rarely show. I'd go with a theme of "fire of life", because fire is often used as a metaphorical representation of life itself. That's why I think he could have powers over life force itself (different from Giorno trust me). Not that he'd be able to take away life force, because he could just instakill anyone, but he'd be able to give, feel, and manipulate life force in a lot of different ways. He'd be able to detect the life force and traces of it of anyone nearby, like he already does right before he dies, but as an always active and more powerful version that could even detect Vanilla Ice when he's hiding in his void. He would also be able to overwhelm his opponents with too much life force/energy that their bodies wouldn't be able to handle it, rendering them unable to fight. Or he could give his allies more energy and more will and passion to fight for longer.
I feel like a better design for magicians red would be like a robe of fire with the head taking a more Phoenix impression. And because abdoll is a rather complete character I'd say he'd have a higher level of fire manipulation and like the Phoenix he can heal himself in his allies and also resurrect them if they die, they're being evolution into more of a phoenix like character because abdoll is kind of a redemption ark in my opinion and he also faked his death so this would give it more possible.
Dang! You cooked, with the last three, especially. You too the metaphor of their character and their arcs very ingeniously. It feels really believable and coherent with how Araki would do it. I mean, he would do some super complex lore stuff with it; you know, typical it's Araki. 😂 But the base you laid is unshakable.
favourite pt3 moment 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Just the shenanigans. Getting kebabs, speaking broken indian, perusing through Egypt on a rampage. Stuff like that. Ngl, the fights are just a bit of extra. They don't fit some narrative. But then again, it's kinda balanced, since indeed, some are more laid back and gags and generally less dire than in other parts, leaves space for the shenanigans while also keeping a good amount of direness. I guess that's maybe the genius of pt3.
My idea of a Magician's Red Requiem would be that it functioned by itself or was automatic like Sliver Chariot Requiem. Instead of protecting the arrow and physically changing organic material around itself, MR Requiem would transfer to the person Avdol died for. Any person that attacks the new user with any malicious intent will to be counter-attacked by six fiery chains summoned from the ground. These chains are unstoppable, causing searing pain and immobilizing the attacker until they are fully burnt to ashes. The range of these chains would most likely be 20 meters max, and if the attacker uses projectiles, the projectile will evaporate before it reaches the user.
A non "Requiem" or "Kratos" name you could attach to the Evolved Stands for Stardust Crusaders in this theory might be "Sobek" to stick with the Egyptian themes of the the original arc. Sobek was a God who was associated with the military (A "Team" of sorts) and had a reputation as a "Repairer of Evil" who came about to fix the Evils of others. Although I suppose "Hermit Purple: Sobek!" doesn't really roll of the tongue, huh? Or
It felt wrong to just brush over break free, amazing name. Also Please do this with the other parts especially part 5 since the members have such pronounced morals and dreams etc.
Great video. Finding angles of conversation to talk about this series is no easy task, but you pull it off. Question could you make a video of how far could the crime group of Lupin the 3rd could go in the series of JOJO or if that is to big of a video just Stone ocean. There have been times Lupin has spoken directly with ghosts even an episode where the crew raced the spirit of this crime boss. Also Daisuke Jigen and Goemon ishikawa depending on how you interpret their feats are busted and could make up for the lack of seeing stands. (Don't forget about Fujiko, she is the Lupin enabler who would make whatever he pursues in JOJO 'feasible'.)
I genuinely believe that Goemon would somehow become an exception to "Only Stands can harm other Stands." and somehow be able to cut one. Also, Lupin somehow is able to steal a Stand. He's done things about as crazy.
to keep hermit's vision & Gojo's ability separate make the time transfering a lifetime of memories one thousandth of the time serving as a stun for a few days instead of instant
I like the fool requim a lot, I can think it can still keep its armor but sheds it when needed, it’s laugh makes it really unpredictable, that what I like about this concept
I like the fact that Polnareff being able to Switch his own soul is also a reference to "be able to weild two swords", much like he was able to do in the fight between Jotaro and Anubis
I like the Idea of joseph's requiem being a forest which he could manipulate and amplify his hamon for trickery, shenanigans, and maybe even some buffoonery
The Polnaref idea is very similar to to the Superior Spiderman Comic run its essentially the same concept where Doctor Octopus got to take over Peters body and gained full control over it over time
star platinum just would've been the arrow himself making ppl getting stands and maybe stole them if he got the user isn't that what he want ? no more evil users, like part4,5 and that would help him in his searching about the arrow? with some little power up by 3 or something in time stop
this was an absolutely amazing vid I'd love to see a version of this for the part six gang, hvaing just rewatched it i'd love t hear their arcs takn to full power
I was rewatching part 3 and i realized something simple but dumb, why are the names of the early crusaders paired with a colour(silver and platinum are still kinda colours) but others are just the card name like the fool and the world, and then a few dont even get the in there names like strength
Great video, the only tink I woud add is to have magician´s red requiem stand have something to do with infinity(since it´s dysplayed on his tarot card) for example make his flames last forever. Absolutely love the idea of fool being inspired by gear 5 and it woud be very interesting to see it go berserk.
I think that a cool concept with Star platinum the world break free, would be that His stand and Jolene’s stand fuse, and collect more and more power, as it changes user, sort of like one for all in my hero academia
i think Magician's Red Requiem should have something to do with revival, it would fit the phoenix theme and how Avdol "died" twice to save someone else (first presumed dead from headshot wound from the Emperor and then again presumed dead from being portaled to unknown location with severed arms by Cream). i know, there's not supposed to be a stand that can bring dead back to life, but it feels like a "says who? the stand masters who don't always even know what abilities they themselves have?" thing to me. besides, there already are a few stands that can reverse death through various technicalities (such as Gold Experience Requiem reviving Diavolo in different universes to die immediately again, or Killer Queen reversing time with the Bites the Dust ability), under certain conditions (Star Platinum restarted withered up Joseph's heart, Crazy Diamond and Gold Experience restored Okuyasu's and Bruno's bodies and they kinda just decided to keep living on their own will) or through... whatever Limp Bizkit does with dead creatures, Dio's bone, and even the stand master itself
Fav moment in part 3? Polnaref is my fav crusader, so the moment with avdol saving him from hol horse/hanged man team up and him breaking down knowing that his friend sacrificed his life to save him

Literally just last night I saw your vid from years ago about SP Requiem and thought "I wish he'd revisit this"
Great video!
8:35 chariot also had the ability to make enemies stands attack their users if they got close
Would be interesting to see Requiem Stands for the Part 5 characters.
i fear for the day someone makes “Soft and Wet: Go Beyond Requiem”
@@Jamlord2061the bullets are now in a quantum superposition where they are now guaranteed to always hit in the most damaging way; basically an active version of WoY or love trains’s lethal attack ability

@@Plaugus_Screenz Its ability is to literally just straight up win lol
Hierophant green req: beserk could be more depressing if kakyoin's soul merges with his stand, thus he is alone in a much worse way since only stand users could see him, and his family thinks he's dead when he isn't.
But he will still have jotaro
I had the same idea
I have a cooler idea: Hermit Requiem turns Joseph part vampire. Since the Ripple and vampirism are two sides of the same coin, he taps into the other side. This gives him:
-Super strength, leveling to DIO
-Very, very heavily accelerated levels of healing
-Permanent youth (he's still mortal)
-Remains impervious to the sun
-Freeze shock powers used by Dio
-Precognition (owing to his prediction shtick, something like 12 seconds into the future, nothing too broken)
Overall, just Young Joseph with vampire abilities, better Ripple abilities and just makes him kickass once again
I like the idea of polnareff taking control of chariot requiem being basically todo in the fight against Sukuna swapping Diavolo’s soul all around to disorient him
There was a channel along the lines of “Xeno’s bizarre animations” that made a kickass requiem for mista
Basically it allowed him access to the occursed missing number 4 of Sex Pistols, and anyone it punched was immedeatly cursed with infinite bad luck
I really enjoy how you integrated the tarot cards' meanings into your descriptions of the requiem stands! I loved all of them, but kakyoin's was especially interesting to me since we didn't get to see that play out in the show.
truly the description maxxing and placeholder title
Excellent, I love how you appreciate the powers in Jojo keep it up 🙏

Bro took "yare yare daze" to a whole other level 💀
Ok, well in that case Doppio just doesn’t have a stand.
I feel like the true form of chariot requiem, would have a blade similar in appearance to the arrow, and what it could do is use the arrow like blade to cut the stand off of a person’s soul for a short period of time
so basically polnareff if he had idle transfiguration
*absolute cinema*
@arkimist2186 more like he could remove people's stands like white snake
@@TictacmanRBLX I misread your comment and saw it as a direct attack on the soul, which I think would be fitting considering your interpretation
What if berserk hermit purple didn't just transfer information at random, but feed everyone around with informations that they subconsciously want at the moment? It would basically be Gojo's infinite void but the more you think, the more affected you are.
So if you just stop thinking you are Imune
@@Plaugus_Screenz So Kars is immune to Josephs requiem stand, ironic.
@@Kracelll yeah
Break Free is peak, great video 👍
For Avdol, though, I was thinking about how to combine fire and Avdol's character in a thematic and conceptual way.
Or he could give his allies more energy and more will and passion to fight for longer.
tbh i recently watched ur kcr (king crimson requiem) vid and i think u have really good ideas keep goin champ :)
I love how hierophant green requiem would just transform the 20 meter emerald splash into a sure-hit domain expansion
THEN AS JOYLNE USES STAR PLATINUM JOTARO'S HERITAGE TO THE FUTURE STARTS PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND
I like how Kakyoin’s is just no one deflecting the emerald splash
I feel like a better design for magicians red would be like a robe of fire with the head taking a more Phoenix impression. And because abdoll is a rather complete character I'd say he'd have a higher level of fire manipulation and like the Phoenix he can heal himself in his allies and also resurrect them if they die, they're being evolution into more of a phoenix like character because abdoll is kind of a redemption ark in my opinion and he also faked his death so this would give it more possible.
The d,arbys and iggy fight were probably my favorite parts of part 3 so far
Finally, no one can deflect the emerald splash
Hermit Purple: Requiem is the choice of Steins;Gate!
One of your best videos to date, great work
Thank you for your hard work.
I see where you’re coming with star platinum break free I just love me some OP protagonist that gets even more OP.
Nothing can deflect the emerald splash!
Kinda like the idea of Polnareff taking Doppio's place as Diavolo's second personality as Doppio goes crazy

War of wits and skirmish of souls for that double assonance.
@justinweber4977 afterall there is nothing goemon can't slice soooooo
kakyoins hierophant green requiem just sounds like tusk from one viewpoint
So if Kakyoin got pierced, he'd gain a sailor hat? neat
to keep hermit's vision & Gojo's ability separate make the time transfering a lifetime of memories one thousandth of the time serving as a stun for a few days instead of instant
Peak Content has dropped
When iggy got thrown was my favorite part of part 3 😂
The editing is insane btw
bro istg it showed "1 day ago" when i clicked on this vid but then i look rn and boom 4 months ago and i've liked it already LMAOOO
26:14 no one can deflect emerald splash now , for real .
21:00 pov: you send a 20tb zip bomb
25:30 kakyoin gets a superhero stand that everyone cat see lol
Kaleb cooking again, man you are crazy
I like the Idea of joseph's requiem being a forest which he could manipulate and amplify his hamon for trickery, shenanigans, and maybe even some buffoonery
Jozeph: * geting plane requem *
*congratulation, doom ending has achieved*
The Polnaref idea is very similar to to the Superior Spiderman Comic run its essentially the same concept where Doctor Octopus got to take over Peters body and gained full control over it over time
star platinum just would've been the arrow himself
making ppl getting stands and maybe stole them if he got the user
isn't that what he want ? no more evil users, like part4,5 and that would help him in his searching about the arrow?
with some little power up by 3 or something in time stop
this was an absolutely amazing vid
I'd love to see a version of this for the part six gang, hvaing just rewatched it i'd love t hear their arcs takn to full power
20:11 artists gonna have one hell of a doozy with this one...
bro why this video so poetic
I was rewatching part 3 and i realized something simple but dumb, why are the names of the early crusaders paired with a colour(silver and platinum are still kinda colours) but others are just the card name like the fool and the world, and then a few dont even get the in there names like strength
Great video, the only tink I woud add is to have magician´s red requiem stand have something to do with infinity(since it´s dysplayed on his tarot card) for example make his flames last forever. Absolutely love the idea of fool being inspired by gear 5 and it woud be very interesting to see it go berserk.
2:42 I thought that image on the right was bowser spitting fire 😭
I imagine with joseph's personality, he could also transmit false memories to his enemies
With this version of Chariot Requiem and it's ability, you could have a cool scene where he attacks Diavolo in skipped time.
19:53 so basically infinite void but doesn't destroy the minds of the target
For Chariot, I imagine it would be switch bodies, inflict a mortal wound to that body, then switch back
"Hermit Requiem is basically Gojo."
Hermit Hollow Purple!
Fav moment in part 3? Polnaref is my fav crusader, so the moment with avdol saving him from hol horse/hanged man team up and him breaking down knowing that his friend sacrificed his life to save him
