Ted, you are the first rock concert I ever saw and of course you nailed it. I have been a bow hunter as long as I can remember. I shot about 50 arrows out of a bucket every day to the hay bails in my back yard. Arizona born and raised bass fishing, bow hunting, dirt bike riding, bow fishing, born and raised in the desert here in Arizona. Slaying javelina and mule deer, varmint calling. I am totally happy with what you are doing. And I know that you will stick to your guns on your beliefs. Rock on Uncle Ted.

Thanks Ted! You shared a campfire with my dad and friends once through your Bowhunter's World back in 1990. He was up for bowhunter of the year but lost out to another fine bow hunter. I have your letter and signed picture of it from that year on my wall. Dad was a stud hunter, even having harvested the biggest buck in Ohio by bow in 1960 and 1962. probably the best demonstration/lecture on playing guitar that I've ever seen. And lets be real...how many 68 year old guys can rock like this?. Forget whether you believe in his politics/lifestyle- the guy is a legend and deserves more accolades for his music and guitar playing.
And he remembers so much great stuff from the old days. Like that first song he played, goddamit it was great. I myself don't agree with his vision in politics and overall life, but when he talks about music and starts to play, it totally blow my mind. When you forget everything else about him except his guitar playing, he is a guitar god.
JONATHON SEAGULL plenty. And they are still performing to large crowds. Unlike Ped who is on the county fair circuit. Last year he played near me at the Canal Winchester rib fest. Nobody cared. Shit talking has been
Maybe Uncle Ted could get Gene Simmons on bass and some OTHER REAL AMERICAN PATRIOTS on rhythm guitar and drums to put out an EXPLOSIVE, KICK ASS TOUR?! Call it, "THEE AMEROCKIN' TOUR"! 👍😁👌 SIGN ME UP! 😁
I'll never forget when I was around 14/15 years of age I came over to my buddy's house. He asked me if iv'e heard Ted Nugent stranglehold. I had not. As he laid the stylus down on that vinyl I remember the popping of the record through the needle coming out of his newly purchased Ohm speakers that filled his tiny room with "that new speaker smell" those opening notes of the tune started. It hit me like an electrical alien invasion assault of my brain. We proceeded to listen to the rest of the album as it put me in a supercharged,,.. mesmerized trance of primal sound that in my life to that point have never experienced! Ted Nugent was the only thing we listened to constantly for quite some time. The other smashing electrocuting stomp you into the ground ass tunes that followed was always an anthem, a celebration of life, freedom, proud to be alive and from Michigan,,,... proud to be an American proud of The United States Of America... proud to be a rocker. He blazed a path through rock & roll like no other. And no other will. I got my first guitar soon after that. I was lucky to had run into him a couple times at the guitar shop in Ann Arbor MI. To see him at The Pontiac Silverdome in the eighties with The Cars. The PA system was a tower of insanity! Followed by a performance at Crysler Arena in Ann Arbor, and in Detroit. He blew the damn roof off every place! I could go on but i'm going to slap Stranglehold on my PA and crank the shit out of it before the better half gets home.. HA! Thank you Uncle Ted. Thanks my buddy that magical night for sliding that album from its sleeve... it changed my life! That was my introduction to The Motor City Madman. Peace/Love and Rock & Roll to all across the world out there! JN- Jackson, MI. USA. \,,/
I have watched this video several time and am amazed by how Ted just smokes those Byrdlands and how technically great he is as a guitar player. I've seen him twice in concert 1978 and 1980.
saw ted live in london uk 1980.......(i was 15) didnt really know much of his stuff at the time....but it was a great show.... and he left the byrdland on the stand just 'feeding back' while they went backstage for a drink and we screamed for an encore.... i had quite good tickets near the front as well.... great teenage memory
After watching this I grabbed my ES 335 and jammed with Ted the way it was meant to be!! I think I played guitar for the first time in my life the way it was meant to be after playing for 30 years plus!! He gets it and is what we all want to be!! Ted Nugent is my ultimate guitar hero for life, thanks Ted for opening up my eyes to music the way it should be played!!!
Ted it's hard to put this out for the world to see but I was diagnosed with complex ptsd making it tough to trust anyone and even harder to deal with all the bullshit going on in our beautiful country. I'm not asking for anything from you I refuse to ask anyone for anything I just wanted to say thank you you are one of few I look to for inspiration and by the way you have a beautiful collection of guitars.
Motorcity Madman! I grew up in Detroit, saw Ted and the Amboy Dukes playing "Journey to the Center of the Mind" in, I think 1968 or 9. Killer band, tune and energy! Rock on Ted!
Thank you Mr Nugent! Great playing! I wore out my double live Gonzo album (LP). Got it still but not playable..... Fantastic music that`s been with me through the years. Just .Thanks!!
Friggen great video....just got into guitars late in life, but loved Ted since I was a kid...he does a great job showing his passion for what he does with some good insights into his playing and some really cool guitars and music on display...worth every minute.
You know I've listened Ted since I was a kid in the 80's thx to my dad but until now I never noticed Ted is a beast a rhythm guitar and I've played for 30+ plus yrs.
100 years from now Ted Nugent will be regarded as a musical genius! I saw the Wango Tango tour and was deaf for 3 days!! It was the loudest show ever!! Only Motorhead was just as loud!! He is arrogant and proud of what he does and has always done it his way... wrong or right!!
MR NUGENT, YOU'VE BEEN MY GO TO GUITARIST ALL MY LIFE. YOUR INTENSITY, COMMITMENTS TO MUSIC & LIFE HAVE SHAPED MY , & OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES. THANK UNCLE TED!
Ted is the MAN..Always been one of my guitar inspirations ever since I heard that guitar literally moan. Its no telling how many copies of Double Live Gonzo I have purchased over the years.
UNCLE TED with the Guitar Hooks. No matter what you wanna admit.. Ted Nugent always had it and still does. Goes to say today's ROCK has no hooks or memorabilia melodies 😎
😳 Wow. Ted's entire philosophy about becoming a real guitar player, and the mindset required to succeed, is 100% percent spot on correct, and is also a perfect example of a mindset to actually live by in life, every single day, no matter what it is your doing or no matter what your hopes and dreams are. It is entirely impossible, to become proficient at anything in life, without an incredible amount of hard work, pain and suffering, mentally and physically as well as never giving up, no matter what you have to sacrifice or endure. That's an absolute, undisputable fact, of life that will get you to where you want to go,every single time, as long as you commit entirely to that philosophy and mindset. Not only is it not easy, it's not suppose to be easy. Easy is something that every single person in the world can do, perfectly, without any effort, or thought, whatsoever. If you want to accomplish anything in life, that is not easy. This tried and true mindset, when put into practice, works, every single time,100%, guaranteed !!!!! 💯☝️😉👍
Ted Nugent is a national tresure. I met Ted back in the early 80's as a young boy out hunting. Turns out he knew my Dad. Then I met him at a show when i was in my twenties and he remembered me. Ted Nugent is one of fhe catalysts that made me weird and intelligent even though im unintelligible to the common man. Ted I salute you, you mad man. You prompted me to sell the violin and buy a guitar. That prompted pops to whoop my ass.
First and only time I saw you was pensacola 1975, whats this dude in white tights... been a fan since... guns, god, guts and glory... keep it up.... Thank you......
He must have cleaned up the white tights after his visit to the military draft board. Since he didn't want to use his guns in Vietnam, I don't know how that gives him guts or glory
@@markjsound A lot of people found ways to avoid the draft back then, it was a ridiculous war and a waste of a lot of lives But that was a bullshit story he gave to a magazine because in those days it was saying you were shiting on the warmongering government of the time. Uncle ted lol your fcn animal my man mad lv buddy hey 1 more thing im a convicted felon HOWEVER i miss hunting bad can i get a black powder rifle to hunt with or is that a no go as well ?
Uncle Ted !!!!!! No one Ricks like you bro!!!! You've inspired my energy!!!! U.S.A. all the way brother!!! God Bless you, & God Bless America!!!!!!!
THAT was what I needed after the crap storm that is the start of 2021!
Thank you Ted. God bless you Sir.
Got to love Ted's recipe for guitar playen !! Thanks. I started when I was sixteen, here I am 61 and still rockin.
You were the first concert I went to in like 76, weekend warrior, paralyzed, will never forget, also saw you many times at Pima county fair in Tucson, az! Thanks for the good times! I'm 58 and still rock to your music!
One of my all time greatest idols and hero. True patriot. God bless you Ted.
Devrek Wassupi sad that he’s a draft dodger
@@sm8645 remind us which branch of the Armed Services did your hero's barack & Ol Slick Willie serve?
@@sm8645 I love it, people that can't even man up to pay for their own health making comments about draft Dodgers. If we had a draft today , we would be sacrificing hundreds of thousands of obese, dorky, gender confused wastes of oxygen to war.
True Patriot??? Really? why is that, pray tell??? because he sports an American flag?? that doesn't make one a 'Patriot'!!!
Draft dodging jail bait chaser. He adopted his own underage girlfriend. C'mon, man.
I love uncle Ted !! A true American !!
probably the best demonstration/lecture on playing guitar that I've ever seen.
The nuge fucking kicks ass, holy crap. That right hand rhythm.
Call it,
"THEE AMEROCKIN' TOUR"! 👍😁👌
SIGN ME UP! 😁
John DeF: How much money do YOU have? I'll bet Ted has MUCH more? 😁
I was at your Sonic Baptism tour Uncle Ted !!! LONG LIVE THE NUGE !!!!!!!! NUGENT for PRESIDENT !!!
I saw this on Facebook the day he broadcasted it for the first time. Glad to see it's made it onto UA-cam. I watch it frequently for inspiration!!
This video makes me so happy! Short haired, older, Ted, still one of the best!! God, I would love to sit and have a beer with him
Thank you Ted for all the years, keep it up brother!...Rock on America.
USA. \,,/
shut up ohm
I have watched this video several time and am amazed by how Ted just smokes those Byrdlands and how technically great he is as a guitar player. I've seen him twice in concert 1978 and 1980.
saw ted live in london uk 1980.......(i was 15) didnt really know much of his stuff at the time....but it was a great show.... and he left the byrdland on the stand just 'feeding back' while they went backstage for a drink and we screamed for an encore.... i had quite good tickets near the front as well.... great teenage memory
"800 yards to the gallon" Crazy Uncle Ted
After watching this I grabbed my ES 335 and jammed with Ted the way it was meant to be!! I think I played guitar for the first time in my life the way it was meant to be after playing for 30 years plus!! He gets it and is what we all want to be!! Ted Nugent is my ultimate guitar hero for life, thanks Ted for opening up my eyes to music the way it should be played!!!
Thank you so much Uncle Ted my blood brother. May the Spirit of our forefathers continue to guide you on your musical journey.
Brilliant! Uncle Ted still has the chops, and still makes me laugh out loud!
I just really enjoyed spending time with you Ted! I feel like we hung out for the evening.
whiteboy magic: Said, the gay known as, "whiteboy magic".

Ted is the MAN..Always been one of my guitar inspirations ever since I heard that guitar literally moan. Its no telling how many copies of Double Live Gonzo I have purchased over the years.
Very fun video! Was great to see his guitar collection.
Lots of information and great jams! Thank you for posting! Rock on!
The 59 lives up to it's magic. The sound is astounding!
UNCLE TED with the Guitar Hooks.
No matter what you wanna admit.. Ted Nugent always had it and still does. Goes to say today's ROCK has no hooks or memorabilia melodies 😎
Long Live Uncle Ted!!! Greetings from Manaus/ Amazon rain Forest/ Brazil!!! God Bless You!!!
Wow, you live in a beautiful place!
Beautiful collection Uncle Ted 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
LMAO. Driving over Al Gore's Face... i can't stop laughing.
That was fucking great. Lmao2
Ted Nugent For President 2024. Got my vote.
LMFAO!...FUNNY!
BEEN ALMOST 5 YEARS SINCE THIS VIDEO WAS POSTED!...SEE HOW. SADLY THIS COUNTRY HAS DISINTEGRATED!!
Thank you Ted you are the King of Rock & Roll guitarist ! Thanks for the inspiration . My friend an soul mate .
Love Love Love you Teddy! Thanks for hanging out with your fans.
I soooooooo love this vid!!! I’ve watched it like 20 times!
Ted Nugent is so inspiring! LOVE his dedication and passion! His monster tone and abilities too! May he live forever!
Thank you brother from a disabled American Vet. The Anthem.. Plays a refurbished 69 Gibson SG.
First and only time I saw you was pensacola 1975, whats this dude in white tights... been a fan since... guns, god, guts and glory... keep it up.... Thank you......
And don't forget his service in 'Nam!
He must have cleaned up the white tights after his visit to the military draft board. Since he didn't want to use his guns in Vietnam, I don't know how that gives him guts or glory
@@markjsound
A lot of people found ways to avoid the draft back then, it was a ridiculous war and a waste of a lot of lives
But that was a bullshit story he gave to a magazine because in those days it was saying you were shiting on the warmongering government of the time. In reality he got a college deferment just like your hero Bill Clinton, but you keep spreading your lies because it's what liberals do best.
I've known about Ted Nugent since I was 15 in '76 and I never saw him as a racist, he speaks his mind and praises the heartland ,black R&B soul, WE all have our views on life and SOMEONE'S bound to piss you off no matter where. ✌🎸👍🏿
Sweaty Teddy you are the true Detroit city madman! Damn I love your music.
I remember watching you Ted swing out on to the stage in a Tarzan outfit at the spectrum in Philly.Had to be the early 80's forget exactly. But always loved your music. You have some really nice mounts around your rockin man cave. You will always be in my music hall of fame.....Spirit of the wild!..
Browsing the net for Ronnie Montrose stuff, came across this, totally frigging awesome, nice mention of AC/DC there too, just loving this.
Ted's an absolute nutcase, and 'we' the people love him for it. Long may he live and rock. 🙏🏼
Awesome Ted...love the home jam..I play alot of your music on my guitar..drives my wife crazy. Lol
All American Uncle Ted. Seen the man in Concerto about 8 times. Always has a great band with him. Never disappointed. Always puts in 100% effort and never a phony. The man can flat out play. My My the hair on the back of my neck still get prickly when I hear the Great White Buffalo. Or Hibernation. Ted has so many classics.
Playing next to the washer and dryer Lmao!!! I so love Ted!!!
I want a 1959 Les Paul but sadly it will be decades of mowing lawns and washing cars. Great to see a master play them. Great Job Ted!
Ted makes the best guitar playing faces ever ! It's like the music is coming out of every single cell in his body.
Keep on pointing our youth towards hunting, fishing, and all outdoors. That's exactly what our country needs!
I can't play like you but you are indeed one of my favorite musicians, level headed with showmanship like no other,, yes, age does slow us all down a bit and you still play like you did in concert
My dad loved him some Teddy!!! Both patriots and good ol boys. Great video!!
Gibson should make a Ted Nugent Byrdland!
Unfortunately, I think they might want to endorse him because of his strong political positions...
I was just thinking that.
THAT would sell them LOTS of guitars. 😁
An Uncle Ted Byrdland is LONG overdue!
Daisy Mouri The white one in this video was specially made for ted by Gibson.
What a treat, takes me down memory lane.... Cal Jam 2. The first time I heard stranglehold,
It changed my life! One of the best guitar players of all time.... Thanks Ted
Love this mans energy and enthusiasm since before I was a teenager in the 70s. Wangdango
I think you mean WangoTango, not Wangdango. Lol
I admire him greatly, great artist great wit, love ya man. I have two bootleg VHS tapes that I play once in a while.
Ted Nugent , an American Icon, is the Real-Deal...from his guitar playing to his politics. And yes, I voted for Donald J. Trump for President and I'm proud of it. Ted Nugent and President Trump are not all that different. Both free, bold and distinctively American .
And alpha males. Amen.
@John Schwartz yea he told them fake news as a joke. They took the bait. So called journalist. Lol. Vietnam was a b.s. war. Nobody won and we lost 50k for nothing.
@John Schwartz So basically he's a hypocrite??
