The Wild by the Mile #VanLife Workshop is all-inclusive and hands-on. Stay four days, three nights in a VanCraft rented Sprinter. Have your own van - The Solo Experience- or share with a fellow classmate - The Shared Experience. The workshop is based out of San Diego.
You fill the water and propane, learn how to check battery levels and electrical wiring, go to the dump tank, learn the difference of BLM land vs city ordinances vs campgrounds. Appearances by well-known #VanLifers teaching you: how to build a van, make money on the road, and share their experience. This includes self-defense and safety training. Lazy Acres hosts an exclusive cooking class and grocery shopping trip.

Liz Bryant is a solo female traveler who lived full time in a Mercedes Sprinter August 2017 until November 2018. She now enjoys shorter trips yet still travels frequently. Liz settled back down in La Jolla, California.

Honestly, I think it's the pressure she's experiencing from Instagram and youtube. Capitalism and fame feed itself you stumble into it without knowing. All of a sudden people have expectations of you, which is definitely something she doesn't want if she wanted that lifestyle she would have stayed with television. I don't know about Instagram but UA-cam is a Television production gig it is more intense than the position she left.

Honey you do what you feel you need to.
    Life is too short.
    I live by a 80/20 rule:
    80% day/month/year should be good.
Accept 20% day/month/year will be crap, filled with stuff we don't like or want.
If these odds are out over a period of time, I reassess and make a change (just like you have now).
At 48yrs myself & just undergone a double mastectomy due to breast cancer I have no regrets on any of crazy seemingly things I have done.
I travel locally in my home state of Western Australia as much as I can and travel internationally every 2nd year.
I am currently converting my own van to allow me to live, work & travel Australia wide for as long as I am willing and able.
We are all only restricted by our own imaginations.
Live life how you want, you only get one go....enjoy!
    😘🌄🚐🌳🏕️🏞️🚌🥂

You’re such a breath of fresh air! Following YOUR heart, not someone else’s idea of what that should be. That’s why we’re here, for experiences. And you’re a badass for not following the “normal” expectations like college, 9-5 job, marriage, 2.5 kids, etc. I’ll enjoy keeping up with your adventures no matter what they are. As long as you’re chasing your passion.

I grew up overseas in the Marshall Islands so international travel has been a part of my life since I could barely walk. Last winter I got the chance to go to Antarctica and work the summer season there and spent over a week in New Zealand waiting for a broken down plane to be fixed so I could head to Antarctica. When someone tells me they want to go travel the world I 100% of the time tell them go for it. Its a great way to grow as a person, you'll see things and experience moments that take you out of your comfort zone which will turn into learning experience and enrich your life far beyond your wildest dreams. New Zealand is beautiful btw, I would definitely suggest a visit to Christchurch which is minutes from beautiful beaches and picturesque winery's.

Liz, your true tribe stays with *you* !
"Hike *your* hike" is advice I give to anyone who asks. You achieved notoriety long before you became a vanlifer. I'm pretty sure, because of who you are, that you'll only build upon that.
As for places to go and things to do, I've visited 30+ countries on five continents, and Australia and New Zealand are remain at the top of my bucket list. So, good choice there. Perhaps you could connect with Heath & Alyssa Padgett (RV Entrepenuer) as they've just returned from New Zealand (currently exploring Canada).
Have you ever seen "The Way" with Martin Sheen? As a hiker and a seeker, I think you'd really enjoy it. Maybe you'd even be inspired by it. Hiking the Camino de Santiago is also high on my bucket list.
Wishing you all the best in selling _Wild_ , as well as in deciding on the next steps in your journey, and looking forward to upcoming videos as you figure things out.

You can post from anywhere while doing whatever it is you want to do. Sharing is sharing, whether it's in or out of a van, motor home, whatever. You can post adventures via European train travel. Seeing Europe from a car and hotels, hostels, whatever. Don't feel locked in with what you've been doing. Live is change, if only because you change as you grow in experience and, hopefully, wisdom. Don''t apologize for changing your direction or aims. Keep posting, and I'll keep following.

Kind of sad, after you transformed your Sprinter into such a beautiful home, Liz - you did such an awesome job on it! BUT, I love that you'll be adventuring abroad, particularly to Europe, and wherever else your heart desires. I saw your more recent video of you skateboarding ostensibly in the San Diego area - La Jolla's such beautiful place to live - and if you're going to plop down your roots for awhile, that's an awesome place to do so. Full time life on a RV should be a bigger RV or a medium sized bus with dimensions of atleast 7.5 x 24 sqft to accomodate the most required sfuffs inside. Like kitchen, bed, toilet(with composting toilet, with some space for couch

Hi Liz! I follow you not for the van but for your adventures and your storytelling. The van is just your conduit for your North America adventures. Can’t wait to watch your international experiences!!!

I started watching you because I found you interesting and the concept of a women living on her own in a van. I don’t think I could live in a van but possibly for vacations to travel would be fun. I can’t wait to follow you on your new journey

This all sounds so self absorbed. How do you support yourself?

If you include Asia into your travels, Japan is AMAZING, with so much to explore. Mt. Fuji is a great place and you can hike up it during the spring and summer, until around September. I've been to Japan nine times. Van life does exist and I looked it up and you can rent a van there. They have these rest areas called michi no eki, which basically means road station. There are over 1000 of them across Japan. It's perfectly legal to sleep at these and it's pretty popular with the locals and truckers. They all have 24h bathrooms and during the day they have shops and restaurants that open up. Japan is also one of the safest countries in the world so you shouldn't have to worry about traveling solo. Good luck on your next chapter of your adventures😊 🌎👱🎒📷🎥🚐✈

I’m not a van life guy. I’ve watched several of your vids, chromes vids etc. Trending topics work well. Like events post day of event get massive attention and views. Wait to long 0 Moving forward is always good. Just don’t forget how or what got you there. Best of luck to you. You had great content with van life and edited well. If you truly solo’d everything including your edits then you’ll be fine with whatever you choose. Best of luck to you.

Very brave but so true...I guess the whole idea behind living in a van is the mobility - but I never really realised it made you mobile within a territory (country or continent tops). This way you will be able to fly as high as you want. Well done and best of luck!!
