    I WORK ON A LOT OF NISSANS AND IT APPEARS TO ME THAT NOTHING IS EASY WITH NISSAN !

      I think Nissans are easy to repair. The hard part is finding accurate information and that struggle is not exclusive to aftermarket, when it comes to Nissan.

    Hi there, I have a nissan murano 2018 platinum AWD. I would love to upgrade my brakes to a big brake kit. Could I use any akabono from 370z? Thanks

      Not sure if the parts are interchangeable. Wish i could be of more help. But with a little manipulation, time and fabrication. You can make anything work.

    Thank you Hakim. Good job. I appreciate your videos. I've got a question. Working on an older Altima, 2007. Three wire coils keep burning up with just KOEO. Replaced coils and two reman PCM. Noticed with all coils unplugged and KOEO cylinder 1 coil trigger has 0.5 VDC, cylinder 2 has 1.1 VDC, cylinder 3 has 3.3 VDC, and cylinder 4 has 0.0 VDC. Have unplugged PCM and ohmed trigger terminals to all other terminals and no short to other terminals in harness connectors of the PCM. Before buying a new PCM and new coils, shouldn't all the trigger wires have 0 VDC on them with just the KOEO? Thank you. Have a blessed and safe day.

      I MIGHT BE WRONG BUT YOU MIGHT BE LOOKING AT A GROUND PROBLEM .

    • @Autofixpals
      @Autofixpals  5 років тому +1

      I believe you are correct. I will verify this tomorrow. It may not be on a 07 Altima, But they have not made many changes in their PCMs. Why was the PCM being replaced originally?

      the ground for the coils are on the top. one of the two 10mm bolts is the ground for the ign coils, make sure they are clean, also the ground cable under battery i believe is prone to corrosion. Follow the negative cable and make sure all is good. Voltage drop test it.

      Thank you Hakim. I apologize it's a 2012. I'd appreciate you checking the trigger wires with just KOEO. If not too much trouble, each back probed and unplugged to see if they have any voltage. Thank you Hakim.

    Love the videos sir,
    Quick question if I may,
    A P00 code coming up on an Autel scanner. Some initialization needs doing. Does that sound right?
    Nissan Teana, 3.5 2005 has the VQ engine, also it stalls and a stop. I'm assuming cam sensors but I will check it tomorrow

    It’s works now. But the bearings on the fan will fail between 35-50k like it did in my Pathfinder...

      Isnt that sad... But I think that problem is exclusive to the pathfinders though. I have not changed any fans on a Murano.

    needing help since your the nissan guru. got an 09 murano front passenger window inopfrom master switch. it only looks like it has 1 wire from the bcm that branches off to the master and passenger switches thats a communication line. in the flow chart it says command the windows down with a scanner none of the scanners i have that option.. so i just compared communcation signals from the bcm to the both switches all the same. about to throw a master switch in it and see

    • @Autofixpals
      @Autofixpals  5 років тому

      ill see if i can figure out a way to get something definitive on diagnosing that without a BCM communicating scanner. tomorrow when i get to work.

      @Autofixpals  5 років тому

      @@philh9238 I did not get a chance to do any testing on a Known good vehicle yesterday as we were really swamped with work. But from looking at the wiring diagram i would think that you are looking for some communication on pin 16 (orange) at the passenger window switch when using the master switch to command the passenger front window up or down. If you check that circuit with a scope and you got nothing perform the same check at the master switch pin 14 (orange). Also confirm circuit integrity to the BCM pin 132 (green).. I have never gone to war with one of these power window systems (they don't break very often in that way) so i cant say for certain what type of signal your looking for (possibly LIN). However the good thing is that this system is pretty much the same on all Nissans from 07 on up. So if you have a 07 plus nissan at the shop now it wouldn't take much to pop the switches out the door panels and compare the signals going into the passenger switch from the master switch to see what your looking for. The wire colors will likely be different but the operation is the same based on the wiring diagrams that i looked at. Hope this helps. 🤔

      i agree. But it happens at all manufacturers. People at the factory sometimes make mistakes. However the dealer that sold the car was responsible for catching that mistake.
