I guess what is frustrating with a lot of these clients, the moment they see a lil' progress in their hair journey, they do something that sets back all the work done previously. All in all, a beautiful result!!!
Yes, I remember that in November 2011, I said no more relaxers. However, after about 3 months of washing weekly or every weekend, my hair had grown. I could wear it out without covering it with a scarf. The biggest by-the-way was, since I am natural I can stop doing what our Mama did and taught us to do: let a licensed hair care shop stylists do our hair at least once a month no matter what. It took me 6 months and 3inches of hair loss and shaking free from my wild ego [Easing Out God, ego] to get back to my professional stylist. Now I am doing the same thing with my dreadlocks for the last 3 out of 4 years without having licensed professional services to make sure I have healthy hair. Thank you Ms. Carla for your humble manner without judgment and your phenomenal gifts from Grace. I will make an appointment by calling my stylist on Tuesday (Monday is no barber or stylist working no matter if it is at the shop or their home) unless it is their child or female child relatives who were not trying to pay way: "family and friends discount". Hair is very neatly done and is clear to see your growth oil products work even with alopecia.
@@BonitaSPerry I've known enough "Licensed Stylists" that have messed up a few heads on my journey. Hopefully whomever you choose freshens up her skills by attending workshops a few times a year. It's not about (new) products always, but styling/cutting techniques also. Wishing you all the best on your loc journey... 🦋
Hello. Permanent alopecia cannot grow the hair back, it doesn’t matter what is used on the scalp. But in her case her alopecia is caused by tension and that is why she has hair growth using thehairgurucarla hair growth oil because her alopecia is not permanent
Carla gets it done....lol, no cell phone breaks, no drinking coffee while she's doing hair, no vanishing act, just come get your hair done and keep it moving!!!!
When you style hair on this level, you're beyond being called a hair dresser or beautician. This is art-level stuff here! Nevertheless, it's a beautiful thing when the work you do make people feel good about themselves. The client's face just lit up, and she smiled from the insides when she saw the results.. Great job!👍🏾🙂
I have to agree with Kiki Dahrling. The client has a good amount of hair. She must develop the desire to be patient. She must be happy with hair she has and the hair growth process. These things take time. Miss Guru you work well with her. You have done an excellent job, as usual.
@ Gwendolyn Reed you're right this lady has a whole head of hair. Her edges seemed to have been eaten out from tight braids, relaxers, and damage over the years. I am on a hair journey myself and chopped it off after a bad relaxer ate my hair and left scalp burns. I have no where as much hair as this client, but if mine was that long I'd just keep it in a ponytail and deep condition it ever two weeks. Glue, gel, and hair spray will destroy your hair to the fullest. Unfortunately, she had alot of hardening products in her hair to do the pony tail. Yet, Carla the stylist is a good stylist so she can just wash it out for her in two weeks( and give her some deep conditioning and she'll be fine!).
Girllll, what’s wrong with you? Ms. Carla did a phenomenal job with your hair and the products she sold you…not everything is for everyone. Stop messing up Ms Carla’s hard work. Don’t do hair styles that’s gonna jack up your edges!!! Ms. Carla, another banger 👏🏽👏🏽🥰❤️❤️
3 WEEEEEEKKKKKSSS WOOOOOOOOOWWWW!!! FANTASTIC!! SHE LOOKS AMAZING!!!!! GIIIIRRRRRLLLLL YOU ARE TRULY GIFTED!! GOD HAS ANOINTED THEM HANDS SIS!!! WOW!! JUST WOW!! 🔥🔥🔥🙏🏽🙌🏾❤️
You did an amazing job in covering those areas that were thin. She needs to stick to styles that won’t remove her edges and allow the hair to grow back. Traction alpoecia is very damaging and can cause permanent hair loss.
Stylist did her thing! Considering what she had to work with. The client needs to accept that less is more. All this over styling, pulling and heavy faux locs is to much for her fragile hair. She needs to focus on nourishing her hair back to health and take a year off from styling it.
Just because someone has thin or less hair around their face doesn’t mean their hair is fragile it’s just thin and what makes you an expert more importantly regarding THIS WOMAN’S hair?! It’s beautiful PERIOD!
Yeah she's going to keep going until she has 5 hairs on her head and the full on stick to the scalp wigs come out. All those women with just some hair at the nape were at the stage this lady was in and they kept going. It's still growing back, she stil has a chance if she treats it well and just wears some nice headbands and scarfs, not to tight. Not trying to get the straightest hair in the world, keep the heat away from the scalp. She might stil get her hair back.
I love her hair, as always another beautiful job. I must say my favorite part of the video is when she can see it coming together. Her smiles are priceless 💖
The stylist did a wonderful job!!! If thinning edges are caused by the client and not a medical condition, then she honestly should consider going natural for a WHILE; no weave or tension period! She needs to develop a hair routine, keep up with trims, and do twist-outs and mini two strand twist to cover the edges so they can grow back. My edges was like hers and this what I’ve been doing to grow them back! So far, my hair and EDGES are so much healthier! She needs to stop putting tension on her hair, just leave your edges alone.
Ooooooooooooopoooooh! This professional Hair Stylist & specialist is very "Gifted & Talented"! NOTE: She definitely ("Worked Her Magic")! Her client is so pretty & I really like her hair! (Her reaction when she saw her hair was "Priceless")!!!!! 💯😲💛💜❤️
As always you do a glorious beautiful job. Tell your client when her hair starts growing back to stop putting those stressful hair doos on. Braids always break off your edges. Have a wonderful and blessed day.
Exactly! People are so judgemental about the weirdest things. The people judging others about this (which doesn't affect their life) are the same ones who keep their mouth shut when it comes to serious things that will affect them. Crying about people's baby hairs when they're pushing all kinds of crazy ideas to your kids in school about gender and sexual activity, but you keep your mouth shut about that.
The overall style is beautiful and masterfully done, the one note I have is that I think the baby hair extension on the client’s left( the viewers’ right) is too far away from the rest of the hair, there’s a gap so it stands out, it needs to be closer to her natural hair to blend more realistically. This technique is a cool idea though.
😂😂😂 Carla you are a champ 💪🏽 I love how you listened, thank you! You are absolutely the best ❤ Your heart is kind & authentic ❤ Baby hairs are for anyone who has them! I don’t do them (cause I can’t 😂) but I love them on all ages! I wish people would leave others alone!
Your hands are touched by God! Everybody may not have enough hair for every hair style but honey you worked your magic and to get 3weeks out of it!! I'd be smiling from ear to ear too!
It’s always a joy and inspiring watching your creativity flow…keep it coming Carla! I think there is no better craft to have than ours. We get to make others feel great, which makes us feel great and we get paid for it. 😊 May we continue to be a blessing to others as well as others being a blessing to us. 👏🏽💪🏽👊🏽👍🏽💜
I'm not a fan of baby hair on grown ups, but this is really really cute because it's more like fancy side burns and not baby hair. GREAT JOB. Looks beautiful!
It’s cute but women of certain ages, it does look a bit too young on them. I think it would look more appropriate if the side burns were way smaller and baby bangs! They’d look more natural. Some people have side burns and baby bangs, I say if you got’m use’m just keep them away from the eyebrows, that’s not cute !
I guess what is frustrating with a lot of these clients, the moment they see a lil' progress in their hair journey, they do something that sets back all the work done previously. All in all, a beautiful result!!!

@@TheHairGuruCarla that’s the commenters point. Her hair made progress then she did faux (a tension style) to pull it out again smh
Gave her 10 years of her life back 😍 beautiful
It is darling, Carla!!! She has such a shy, sweet smile and looked rather amazed that you were able to deliver what she wanted...another happy client!
It's not about whether or not we like the style, it's about your SKILLS...AMAZING!!
It is so beautiful and so natural. You are so talented
This type of talent is very rare. The client is blessed to have access to such a skilled professional.
I agree 💯 with you. Truly blessed!

Nice!...
And it’s almost too fine in texture for a lot of heat. The person that install the faux locks should have known better, too.
I want to order some of your edge oil to regrow my edge s
Where do I get this Carla hair growth my mom NEEDS IT !!!!
