It is amazing to me that you guys will continue to work/modify a vehicle until the customer is happy. There are not too many Mechanics left that have the same morals/ethics you two have. I just wish I lived in Florida near your shop or you guys had a shop here in Easter North Carolina. Anyways keep up the amazing work guys and I can't forget about Esther. I'm sure without her your books would be a nightmare lol.
I though I was finally decided in doing the front and mid resonator delete but now I saw this vid and I’m back to square one 🤣🤣 video I saw with both resonators removed showed some crackle and pops which was enticing but it makes sense to get rid of that mid muffler, not sure if going mid muffler and both resonators would be overkill.
I haven’t been able to figure out what it is about the CTR and ITS exhaust that causes them to sound so dramatically different from other cars. Whether a plain V6 Charger or the Hondas of old. The exhaust sounds come off as synthetic even outside the car. The best I can describe these cars exhausts is that they sound like blowing raspberries into a cardboard paper towel/toilet paper roll tubes. What the heck is it on these cars that causes that? Is it even the cars themselves or is it how the exhaust systems are engineered? I miss the authentic rumbles, roars, bass, and baritone. Today it seems we have a computer doing a bad impersonation of those sounds. I could fall asleep to the sweet sound of a Greddy Evo 2 on my old 99 Prelude. Especially with that autistic vtec engagement.
Yep. Unfortunately there’s not much we can do. Hence one of the reasons I sold mine. I’d love to put a high reving NA K24 into and bring back some sound and soul
Ever since the 9th gen civics they changed the cylinder head and manifold design and practically downgraded it to just a downpipe straight to the head that looks like an hdmi port. No more individual runners which explains the crappy exhaust sounds.
Hi LHT from Australia! This may seem like a silly question but did you happen to get a sense of how much weight this saved? the reason is that alot of after market systems that are not titanium save only 2-4kg's and have not demonstrated a fundamental power gain. So I'm wondering if this is a better option!
Hi there. Between the two resonators removed I’d say around 3-4 lbs drop. Most aftermarket exhausts weigh more than this factory system. You see this Civic Type R AWE Exhaust and Swift Springs ua-cam.com/video/V4tOEjBKBEI/v-deo.html
Thanks very much for that! Seems to me titanium is completely necessary then. Not many stockists in Australia though so will keep on the look out, @@LHTPerformance
I went to college and became certified. George was taught at a previous job and I think honed his skills at LHT. Once you know the basics, the more you practice the better you get. When I don’t weld for a while, I get sloppy. Also depends how much coffee we drink. lol.
the only nice(sweet) sounding K-series engine was the Vtec FG/FA civic Si with the 8k redline (K20Z3), and the Acura RSX, especially the last year with the K20Z1.
i love the fl5 unfortunately this car will never sound good. if i have one id make the exhaust super quiet and just make all the turbo noises louder. flutter and t51r mod!

You act like each round is free of charge. Lol.
At the end of the day if the customer/owner is happy, that's all that counts. Glad he is happy with where it's at now!
Wow. Sounds smooth! Good job.

headifold turbo i4s all sound blegh unless you're hyundai who makes up for it with a loud ak47 tune from the factory
I would love to be able to have you guys modify or create a better sounding exhaust, for my 2018 2.0t 6MT Accord.
Wish they had a sound clip at "full song" at a drag strip or road race course
Was this with or withou tune?

are you an George equal in welding skills? Did you teach him how to weld or was he welding before he joined LHT? Random question.. just curious :)

@@LHTPerformance nice!
Another beautiful job. I wish you could do my 2010 CRV 😊😊😊
How much does it cost to get something like this done?
still not the greatest sounding 4cyl., but i would say this modification was an improvement, in my opinion.
I think it’s the best compromise so far.
The changes you’re making are the same the Acura made on the integra type S
What wing risers are those?
Cusco High Position Rear Wing Brackets
@@PIPE911 they look good, wonder if they are same height as the upcoming prl ones
Not sure. These have a straight leg design, where the PRL one has more of an "s" design like the stock one, may push it further back.@@fastminivan

Hows the drone?
Zero Drone.
@@LHTPerformance oh good because i was about to buy a AWE touring which is $4200aud and they sound very similar and this is cost effective.
@@dakz8715 I would consider removing the middle muffler ( the one with the valve) and increase the tip size. Like the one shown.
How do you differenciate between this mods vs AWE touring?
@@dakz8715 This one fits right and sounds better.
👍👍
Woo!
what is George doing to lose weight, he is looking very svelte!

stock exhaust is super quiet lol
@@ShaiyanHossain well duuuhh?! 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏼 sound isn't the only reason why you're changing your exhaust. Most aftermarket flows better.
Almost sounds like the AWE
nothing sounds that bad! lol
This still uses the functionality of the valve. Wide open throttle its doesn’t sound bad. Medium throttle is where it needs to be quiet.
