You can't fool John from LHT with exhaust sounds haha. This man knows a Honda like...Honda. It's so awesome to see how LHT improves stock or aftermarket stuff. Chapeau to you guys❤👍🏻🇱🇺
Awesome work as always John! Question for you, how involved is it to remove the wing on the type r? I’m assuming there will be holes in the trunk lid to fill?
A front resonator delete makes it sound like the Integra Type S, a Type R exhaust without the front resonator is essentially what the Type S exhaust is. The Type R is made to Japanese regulations which require a quieter exhaust than North American regulations (hence why WRX, WRX STi, Z etc are all quiet). You won't have the pop and bang map of the Type S though.
@@TassieLorenzo exactly. the Type S is only sold in America so they could get away with louder sounds and the pops, which is essentially dumping extra fuel during lift off. I believe one of the companies who do aftermarket tunes can now tune this pops in on the CTR
100x better sounding and looking! As always, perfect upgrade!
equal sized tips looks way better. Ive always been disturbed by how these new hondas look, but youve made it a little more tolerable

This is a great mod for relatively low cost. Sounds much better
love the part where he does a test drive to show us how it sounds 🥲
That’s the best sound yet!
🤘😎🤘
Looks and sounds way better
Mugen is coming out with a single-tip exh (matches their rear bumper / body kit too) for the FL5. I think it looks sweet! ✨
😢
Didn't know this I gotta look it up nog, thanks!
Sounds much much better!!
Any thoughts around straight cut tips rather than rolled edge tips?
Sounds good, i hope to see part 2 video soon. All three tips were swapped out with your 4" tips?
Yes. The 4” ones in the store.
That's awesome!! Sounds excellent!
Would've loved a longer review with inside and outside driving footage, any drone?
There maybe a round 2 on this car. I will get the customer to share their thoughts.
@@LHTPerformance thank you appreciate it, these vids are super helpful as I'm trying to figure what to do with mine in the spring.
Nice upgrade
is it possible to replace the OEM exhaust tips with same 4.5” tips as the center?
What size tips are those? 3 or 4 inch
There 4”
I have a question. What size of pipe the exit of the valve has? Looks like 2.50.
Also the side tips look they are 1.75. Is that correct?
Awesome work as always John! Question for you, how involved is it to remove the wing on the type r? I’m assuming there will be holes in the trunk lid to fill?
It’s super easy. I removed my wing 15 minutes after buying to send out for paint. There is holes in the trunk lid.
What intake does this FL5 have?
Stock
*it still sounds like swamp ass, it's no GT3, just go straight pipe from the downpipe, it might end up sounding like a 500cc bike.*
I think you should fool with everybody and do one tip for all three pipes....🤷
🤣. Might he a little crowded.
And still way too many tips ☝️🤪🤪
Dont sound good factory.should sound like the integra type s
