- A job sent me to San Francisco a few weeks back and I got the chance to walk around a new city for the first time in a while! Karl's presence was heavy during my time there which means I got to experience SF in its true foggy glory. Union Square was a bit emptier than I had hoped, but some of the locals informed me that a lot changed after the pandemic on top of it being the business district so not many people hung out there now that so many people work from home. It wasn't all a bust, though. I really enjoyed looking at the architecture in this zone and also happened upon some of the famous painted SF Heart sculptures. For eats, I had cold ramen for the first time at Hinodeya and tasty drinks at Novela. All in all enough interesting stuff to entertain a neighborhood stroll. :)
What's your favorite neighborhood in San Francisco?

I LOVED this.i worked at 450 Sutter back in the 80’s.
Wow! I'm sure it was a very different SF back in the 80s
Greetings to San Francisco 😊
thanks! it's a very cool city!
Hi, I work for South Korean broadcast company tvN. we would like to use your video on our history show. Could you please let me know if we could use an excerpt from it giving the credit to your channel? Thanks :)
Hi! Thanks for your interest. Please email me at streetviewhd@gmail.com 🙂
its been 20 years since, and that carl's jr is still there at civic center.
Haha a survivor 😆
That wasn’t the civic center. It was 5th and Market st.
Used to be so busy there all the time looks like a ghost town
I was very surprised by how bare it was!
Lol, I've lived here my whole life. This is not unusual. SF gets busy during the weekdays and special events, but the downtown is generally deserted in the weekend.
@@TohaBgood2Union Square is not Down town, It’s next to down town. I lived in Union Square prior, during and after the shut downs and have lived in San Francisco for 52 years. Before, Union Square was a hopping place. Now it is a ghost town 7 days a week due to failed woke policies and the rise in crime with low prosecutions started by Chesa Boudin and London Breed and now continues with Brooke Jenkins.
Why is everyone having some red on their face?
