Not really, they are saying the median home price. The range doesn't have to be that wide, I was recently looking and I was surprised it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be, i saw a very nice 3/2 house in a great neighborhood for 1.2 million. For the area, a lot cheaper than I was expecting, I was expecting to not find anything under 1.8 million.
My parents bought a new home in Santa Clara in 1961 just off Homestead Rd. and Woodhams Rd. on Stevenson St..It cost them $24,500. Today that same home is valued at $2 million 500 thousand ! Totally nuts ! Especially when now I see the streets are littered with pick up trucks, RV'S, and boats. No Cadillacs, Thunderbirds, Corvettes, or Lincolns like when I was growing up.
santa clara is a great city, that's where Intel and nVIDIA are headquartered, I grew up in Silicon Valley and still here, it's definitely worth the price. I pay 1000 USD for half of a one bedroom apartment in San Jose, worth every penny.
Campbell is a great area if you want to be near foods, grocery, dining…it’s a little less than 20 mins. Palo Alto/Saratoga is good but pretty expensive. Santa Clara is also a good option.
@@hnguyen1980thank you any rent that’s between 1400$ to 2200$ ? Near by please send me more areas I would highly appreciate that I just got a job offer for Northrop Grumman in Sunnyvale and the pay is okay
The AI voice doing the narration mispronounces San Jose, Los Gatos and some other names as well. Home prices are much higher than this video would have you believe.
Almaden Valley in South San Jose? Seems you missed that one. Parents bought a house in 1975 there for $57,000. Sold for 2 million a couple years ago. Prices seem to be off (lower) by a lot in the places you looked at.
Really don't understand the amount of content providers in UA-cam making just videos using stock footage. Having have lived in the Santa Clara valley for 15 years I can attest none of this footage matches the neighborhood they are describing, giving people the wrong idea. Pretty useless video if you really want to move to San Jose.
I couldn’t even make it through half the video. Starting a business? The home prices? Not even close. Please tack on an additional 2-3 million if you want something close to what was pictured.
born and raised in Morgan Hill and am so glad I finally moved out ,,,,so expensive and crowded and people are not very nice there,,,,,the crime rate is way too high as well...
The price of homes and rents as stated are around 20% too low. I know because I just helped my son buy a home and we looked in many of the neighborhoods mentioned.
You didn't visit Story and King Rd.....horribly bad area... I lived in San Jose my whole life.. bought a house for 42k in 1976. It is now worth a million in the Beryessa area ... Burbank really...not a good area even though near Valley Fair and Santana Row
Highly disappointed in this video, how she depicts san jose. The videos and pictures in her video are so unaccurate. Not to say we don't have a beautiful city. Yes, we do, but I would actually like to see pictures from san jose

Funny how some of the shots are San Jose, Costa Rica.
😮
The ocean scene, right?
Attractive locations, well complied and very informative video.
The home prices are easily two times what you say they are! Who are you trying to kid?

Do you even live in San Jose? The home prices are very inaccurate I don’t know anyone that names the Burbank neighborhood. It’s just San Jose.
I lived in the Burbank neighborhood in San Jose 0:51 , and yuuuuck.
I have always known it as Burbank and.... it used to be unincorporated and home to the porn theatre... the "yuck" was appropriate.
A little help here what are some good areas to rent !??? Near Sunnyvale ? At least a 45 min radius !?
Campbell is a great area if you want to be near foods, grocery, dining…it’s a little less than 20 mins. Palo Alto/Saratoga is good but pretty expensive. Santa Clara is also a good option.

The AI voice doing the narration mispronounces San Jose, Los Gatos and some other names as well. Home prices are much higher than this video would have you believe.
It’s not AI. It’s a white girl you can easily tell.
She needs to find her way to San Jose...... LOL.........She is so off!!!!!!!
Love it here🎉🎉❤❤😊😊

My favorite of all the places you looked at is Los Gatos. Incredible town.
Why didn’t you mention the Rose Garden neighborhood? I would count that as one of the best.

All areas you mentioned are far more expensive
Yes every house is valued at over a million easily. Even then the rent was very low most renters pay nearly 3,000 for a two bedroom apartment.
I’m sorry, I’m not watching a video where many of the stock videos are from San Jose Costa Rica. Duuuuuhhhh
I couldn’t even make it through half the video. Starting a business? The home prices? Not even close. Please tack on an additional 2-3 million if you want something close to what was pictured.
Why some of the shots are "san hose" costa rica? 😅 Prices are way off. It is more expensive.
Grew up in downtown. WOW
I can tell this is'nt San Jose.Remember, this guy Hobb...He knows.
Who googled "clips of San Jose" and forgot to check which country they were pasting clips from for this video
Not sure when this is but your home values and rents are way off.
This is rubbish and inaccurate.
There was also a map of Brazil or something. There was a lot of colorful buildings and houses
Are there any palms in San Jose?
Yes, in front of the courthouse in St James Park, the Palm Haven neighborhood, Martin Avenue, among other places.
born and raised in Morgan Hill and am so glad I finally moved out ,,,,so expensive and crowded and people are not very nice there,,,,,the crime rate is way too high as well...
Where you end up moving to?
I live in San Jose and there prices are not accurate.
Please can someone tell me in which area San Jose city College is located?
It's close to the Burbank area of SJ....just south of 280 and east of Highway 17.
Evergreen
West San Jose.
The price of homes and rents as stated are around 20% too low. I know because I just helped my son buy a home and we looked in many of the neighborhoods mentioned.
Los Gatos and Campbell are not part of San Jose. Not sure why the narration frequently pronounces as San "Hosit" - strange.
You can't even pronounce Los Gatos
It’s in Spanish and it’s pronounced Loss Gah tos
Or San Jose. She kept saying San Joseh
For real... She is so OFF!!!!!!!!
Nothing in San jose is low cost.
Are you trying to punish unknowing suckers!
My hometown
Los Gatos is not San josr, this video is not accurate at all.
most these shots are of San Jose Costa Rica so embarrassing

San Jose is my city and it is not affordable and I work in health care and make good $$
Los Gatos
Didn’t even show real footage of San Jose and no Victorian homes in Burbank at all! Not accurate with Crime and Cost of Living either
I live in San Jose and never knew San Jose looks like what is portrayed in this video!!! Totally inaccurate!!
Wow the smog is just gross, yuck I wouldn’t pay a dime to live there
Maybe back in the 60s
Now it's all sewage,
very expensive.
Not even police can afford to live
In this sewer of a city
