@@caliwalksI plan not to visit San Francisco much anymore even tho i live almost 2 hour from San Francisco too many drug addicted homeless are almost everywhere mentally people are actin crazy so many store are closin down because of shoplifting cars are breaking into
Hi Francisco! It definitely is busier but not yet as busy before the pandemic. But for sure San Francisco is slowly coming back. Thank you for visiting the channel!
I'm debating cancelling my trip to SF after reading about all the crime and drugs. Is it really that bad? I hear cars are frequently broken into and the smells are awful.
Just know what areas to avoid and this won’t be a problem, at least in terms of your personal safety. The murder rate is much lower than most other cities, like New York Miami Los Angeles. The car is something else… Park in garages when you can. My tip for you, avoid Market street between 5th and 10th at night, as well of SOMA, this is where many homeless camp. Avoid civic center, like city hall. Of course, avoid the tenderloin at night, there are nice restaurants and some people out during the day, however, but it’s still not a great area. If you want to be on the extreme safe side, just don’t go south west of Union Square or south of Powell. It’s really not as bad as it’s made out to be online. There are a lot of homeless yes but violent crime is at a low for the city overall, compared to a decade or two ago even. Mostly property crime.
Did you shoot this in the morning? I was just downtown San Francisco in Union Square last weekend for the Tulip festival and it was so packed I could barely walk. I'm glad SF officials are starting to take law enforcement seriously, the amount of police presence everywhere made me feel so safe, especially now post pandemic when a lot of cities are feeling unsafe.

What is the triangular building kinda like the flatiron building in nyc
It is called the Flood Building. It used to be The Gap store (which closed permanently in 2020).
