Apparently a lot of people assumed it is bad becouse it puts entire hand into deck. They missed the part where Rougue can set up a lot of draw(location +weapon).@@kripperinoobviousino6019
the rule that cards lose buffs when going from board to hand and hand to deck always made enough sense to me, but it got confused when tradeable came along and broke that rule. Being able to reduce or change cards in hand and then shuffle them into your deck with those properties would open up some cool silly things, but maybe would break something
I'll maintain that Quasar is closer to unplayable at the moment. Having to find one of the two Quasars, ideally a prep/coin generator to get it out early, and knickknackshack (quick pick is fairly likely to draw dead) isn't going to happen by turn 4 the majority of the time - so your deck needs to maintain a solid winrate without Quasar as well which I somewhat doubt when you fill it with sub 3 mana card draw. With that said, any way to tutor Quasar, draw cards with an empty hand or ways to make the pop-off turn more lethal (building a big board will often win you the game, but isn't guaranteed these days) and I think we're getting real close to the broken mark - so I'd be surprised if Quasar doesn't get its time in the sun sometime before rotation.
@@kripperinoobviousino6019 Definitely, but decks also win (or put themselves in a position to) by t4-5 in wild - don't think this will be significantly different from those existing decks in power.
Hey Regis! I know you're not able to play with the cards now, but I'd love to suggest to you a deck to try when the set drops. It's Anchorite Aggro Priest. Anchorite was another card that got overlooked in the reveals and the reviews, but it has some scary potential when you combine it with crazed alchemist.
Before watching the matches, I've been with Regis on the 5-star Quasar train, and honestly couldn't believe people didn't see the potential in a card like this. If there's any class that could break a card like this wide open, it's absolutely Rogue.
I think kil'jaeden could be good in this deck, he is really good with card-draw and this deck does that phenomenaly. Also loved that you inclunded a loss in the other video! More content and more tension!
Ok, I havent played HS in a long time, but I were to come back, I would pay just to get that Rag hero skin and would play Shaman just for that. So cool!
I think you gotta run Sonya and cover artist and espionage so after you quasar, they all cost 1 and you can chain multiple Sonya’s and put up to 30-40 cards back in your deck that you can infinitely chain with the 0 mana Sonya’s you generate
@@impkiller5932 not quite. You’ll easily have giants, minions from everything must go and multiple copies of 1 cost legendary minions from espionage + Sonya turn after turn to absorb the damage. Since you chain them from all the draw available, you’ll likely never run out of minions
I do feel the asteroids were a bit justified at the end of the big double quasar game. But yes, they seem a bit annoying after a bit. Don't worry, I'll never get past gold so you'll never see me playing asteroids and incindius daily. ❤
I think of Quasar as more o a really high ceiling card, which would make it end up 2 stars, because it's good when it's good, but it's hard to be good at a Quasar deck
21:37 despite what Regis thinks here I watched the Martian perspective to this game and Martian says that he just wanted the game to go out with a bang. He could very easily have played a eredar brute from hand this turn and the game would be over. It only appears close because he decided not to.

Quasar is Definitely broken. A refined list with all draw, Sonya and Griftah might be crazy. 0 mana pupil, the new 3 drop spell burst to draw 2 spells with +1 spell damage and meteors. Games will be over turn 4-5 easily
Yeah the Asteroid & Malygos the spellweaver combo seems like a HUGE oversight on Blizz's part... I truly hope they fix that before release. Its basically a guaranteed win on turn 9, or sooner with mana cheat.

I'm not sure if it's broken but it's absolutely stronger than it should be. Cards like this are supposed to be super flashy but not that competitive. The fact that this card seems reasonably competitive enough that it could have a fairly high playrate on ladder even if the winrate isn't that great is a massive issue.
I think this card is just badly designed. Whatever balance changes it will have my guess is that it will allways be either broken or useless and nothing in between
I don’t think it’s that good, but the high rolls are going to be so damn annoying. It is a bad card design, and contributes to the game not being fun. It’s also one optimized list from being game breaking
I got a survey on the new Pets being added to Hearthstone. They asked me what I would like from Hearthstone in the future. I asked to bring back play testing. This expansion is going to be silly stupid.
I don’t really see the payoff to quasar. Rogue just doesn’t have the tools to both enable and exploit the tools of quasar. I’ve seen multiple rogues in theorycraft draw their whole deck. And then they lose. Like there’s just not really an end win condition when they do that. The closest thing was your 2 clockwork giants and that got cleared and taunted up. It definitely would be a lot better if eredar brute wasn’t stuffed in every deck and providing a very easy way to stall out your power play. TLDR: it generates the pressure of big spell mage but the only big spell they play all game is one tsunami. It’s just not enough pressure even with the highroll.
