Gwent and Runeterra didn't make enough money and are no longer being updated, now somehow Hearthstone is THE most free to play friendly card game, at least among those big popular ones. Ridiculous. Also here are my stats: level 129, 3% Gameplay-Paradise achievements.
There were many, such as Elder Scrolls Legends(my favourite), i think the reason is that Hearthstone is a gold mine for Blizzard just to let it die. There were many opportunities for them to drop HS and focus on other projects, that is the reason why they keep monetizing the game and making it in f2p friendly.
41% achievements and 158 level without tavern pass. I came back to Hearthstone a month before this year's rotation and this expansion is the one I played the most this year, well, until they brought back Renathal to standard
Standard packs are much more valuable for Tavern Brawl rewards as they can be saved up for the next expansion and help get a full collection day 1. Latest expansion packs cannot and are objectively worse for people who have the majority of the expansions cards by the end of the expansion.
@@valerielusa8000 if you have all the commons and rares from an expansion (which is pretty hard to NOT have by the end of the expansion, even if f2p), then it’s objectively worse. Most players just don’t think ahead and save up standard packs though. The old system was actually BETTER for f2p players so they could get more new cards quicker for upcoming expansions.
Currently at 8% PiP gameplay achievements with a level 135 Rewards Track without Tavern Pass. Honestly better than I thought it'd be since I mainly play BGs
Im currently level 142 on the battlepass. Havent had much time to play since early september. Yet i bought the premium pass and tried to complete my weeklys each week. I also have 12 percent of the gameplay perils achievements and have collected all the cards of perils. Great video as always! Looking forward to the brawl next week

I've completed 9% of PiP's gameplay achievements and am currently level 183 on the rewards track with booted exp from the payed track as well as finishing all daily and weekly quests.
I'm currently level 200 on the rewards track and have 24% of the Perils in Paradise gameplay achievements, because I did not actively try to get them this time.
At the time of writing, I've completed 3% PiP gameplay achievements and got to 161 on the Rewards Track with a purchased Tavern Pass. Didn't play much this expansion.

Level:197 and 21٪. I have significantly less gold than I'm used to. Before they removed the afk grind, I would end an expansion around max level 400...
I am currently at level 267 on the rewards track (pass purchased, Paradise achievements at 1%), though I expect to reach 282 by november 5th. This is the first time since Nathria I have'nt reached lvl 400 through afk farming. Farming is still possible, but I don't think afk is an accurate description of it any longer! But I knew afk farming was going to be removed at some point, so over the last 2-3 years I have done my best to save as much gold and dust as I could. I have managed to save up a fair amount of resources, I currently have 50 k gold and 88 k dust, plus 50 k dust in duplicates (Never press the button!). I belive I should be able to more or less complete the collection of each expansion with out much more than a 2 k net loss from my buffer each set. So unless they increase the number of expansions per year to 4 (I sincerly hope they do NOT do this, as I think it would be catastrophic for the game) I should be able to last for about 8 years. With the direction Hearthstone is heading, it seems that the game might not surive for that long, but one can hope! Keep up the great work, Freedom for Ukraine!
Level 197 (without Tavern Pass) with 100% PiP gameplay achievements. (have not yet finished this weekly quest) Some of achievements required highly specific strategies which I mostly performed in Wild. (I do Wild only for achievements)
I'm enjoying the Pre-release Tavern Brawl. I don't play arena, so I have a ton of tickets. I didn't purchase any bundles, so I'm just using old cards. I went 5-3 on my first run w/ Mech Warrior. Got to open some new packs. I'm a big fan of this so far.
Reached level 250 on the rewards track. Wasn't sure which achievements you meant specifically, so here. PiP collection at 73% PiP Gameplay at 42% The gameplay achievements are not fully up to date because I've kept a bunch on hold where I'm going to cash in all the EXP once the new rewards track goes live today. :)
I'm at level 101 currently without a tavern pass. I played on and off through the expansion. I didn't play for roughly 2 months added up for this expansion.
I'm at 197 with 24% completion in Perils. Will note I'm sitting on 5165 gold and 22 Standard packs; been following your advice for a while now and find that I really enjoy the game more with just the purchase of the Rewards track. Think I average about 6 legendary cards if I wait to open expansion cards AFTER opening all my standard packs.
I ended up on level 78 with 56% collection for perils. I'll likely be more active in the new set since I think it will add some new interesting stuff to the meta
gameplay 31% rewards track level 132 without purchased pass I came back to hearthstone, after a 3-4 years period, at the start of september so I felt like I had to play a lot if I wanted to finish the track. Turns out I overestimated :)) Also the free deck, the catch-up packs and disenchanting some old cards made it really easy to get back!! (reached legend in september and october)
NA lvl 79, 11%, EU lvl 68, 9%, Asia lvl 70, 9%. Averages out to lvl 73, 10%. I was clocking more time before they changed quests and added really long event chains that completely exhausted my desire to play.
F2P Lvl 95 42% but the I crafted a lot of rouge cards. Haven't played at all this expansion until this brawl. Personally I loved the brawl. 300gold for 2 cards packs ain't a big cost 100 extra for the chance to make a profit. As well as getting to try my new cards. I got one 5 wins and played maybe 4 runs. Looking forward to the new expansion!
Level 154 on the rewards track (no pass) and at 17% achievement completion for the expansion. Kept ranked ladder play to a minimum to complete quests and did some BG's on the side. I used to actively try to complete achievements, but haven't continued doing so this year. The meta strategies have been too oppressive, making sub-optimal deck experiments less fun to play on ladder.
Hi here, iam 10% achievement of PIP and lvl 147 without tavern Pass. In try to optimize quests, easy to do in one time. So playing every 3 days ! Question: i play since 2014, i have most of cards of each expansion since then. Old cards are wicker and i dont like to play wild. Should i disanchant all of them ? Those before 2023 !
As of Halloween i'm level 197 without a tavern pass. Notably this season i played a lot more battlegrounds and arena, playing ranked mainly to get dailys and weeklys done. I'm at 18% in gameplay achievements. While i like the concept and art of this expansion, I think we'll see moainly the same or at least a similar meta for a bit unless the devs intervene.
Current Rewards Track Level: 212 with Pass. Not happy about the standard pack change, nor the first few lvl gold--> pack change (I'm a saving up type), but I get why the community likes it more. However a really like the theme, so hope for the best!

Certainly better than I thought I'd do since I REALLY didn't like the meta in Perils. I would probably be higher tho on the Track if they hadn't nerfed the AFK grind so hard for those of us who love to play Solo Adventures and Mercenaries to grind it out. I get that they did it to curtail bots, but still sucks as I think a lot of F2P players will be missing all that additional Gold going into Dark Beyond 2. As for the change to the Rewards Track, its arguibly an improvement. Those first few levels that gave you 50 Gold barely mattered. So effectively doubling that value by turning them into Dark Beyond Packs is actually quite nice. For F2P players that's less Gold spent on buying packs and for Paying Players and/or Content Creators it means more Dust to experiment with more cards. Not sure how I feel about them reverting Quests again tho. It feels like an attempt to make the game grindier again after they just gave us a W with the aformentioned packs And I 100% agree on the Signatures. While I do think the bundles they come in are hillariously overpriced, the artwork is so gorgeous I can see why people would want them. Makes me kinda wish they would go back and redo the old March of The Lich King Signatures. They STILL look like trash tbh. 3. As for how I feel about the expansion itself, I'm excited. Not hyped exactly, but definetly much more hopeful and am anticipating this expansion more than the *last 3 combined* Great theme, amazing artwork, generally fun cards & ideas. It won't "stop" the downward trend Hearthstone has been on the past year, but its definetly a *great* first step.
Gameplay - Paradise: 9% Reward Track: 144 I wanted to play more but then Renathal was enabled and the only fun deck to me (Espionage Tess Rogue) got outvalued by the uncreative meta control decks that danehearth's rogue deck was designed to counter. Also the lack of midrange increases the issue of no room for creative meta approach

@@HearthstoneMathematicsI believe there is zero chance to bring me back. Card games aren´t my favorite genre. Hearthstone was an exception. Time spent in this game, could have been spent better to play other games I´m much more interested in. I´m probably burned out. I don´t want to "step into the same river" for second time.
Level 151 with Tavern Pass, 14% Paradise Achievements. I have played HS for 8 years. These days I only play to finish quests and get legend so the rewards track level only depend on how fast I am able to hit legend. But I still enjoy HS. I am a long time premium player so I could be biased, but I do think the balance and economy HS is completely fine. I get one prepurchase bundle and the tavern pass every expansion. I am able to play whatever I want and have a lot of excess coin+dust. I picked up MTGA in recent months and guess what, both the balance and economy are god awful. Themed boards and cinematic trailers will be missed. This is very normal when we are used to getting them and they are taken away. Exact same sentiment in the Overwatch community. Blizzard really does an exceptional job on these kinds of stuff. Fun fact: I hit a jackpot with the packs during Perils of Paradise and reached 100% collection within like 150 packs.
Lvl 230. 100% PiP achievements (no tavernpass) Also did the really good achievement package for the old expansions (except for the 4×dr.Boom one as I miss 2 Booms in my collection). Disclaimer: I don't play any pc or mobile games but Hearthstone so all my game time goes here.
Rewards track level : 146 PiP achievements: 11% F2P, i complete my weekly quests every week, almost all dailies too. I play every 2 or 3 days for i'd say one hour or two. Since the PiP launch in late july, i've played a total of 421 games
I am at level 153 on the rewards track without the pass and have completed 11% of the PiP achievements (dont care about them and also mainly play Battlegrounds)
I'm currently level 143 and a mere 4% on achievements. But I've never been an achievement hunter. I play the classes I like and avoid the ones I hate (looking at you, Druid). I usually play Standard and Battlegrounds. However, I'm really getting sick of the power creep in Standard. If I wanted so many OTKs and bullshit, I'd play wild.
level 137 on the rewards track and 95% done with achievements ... i have two more achievements to do and took a 3 or 4 week break so im way behind on the rewards track compared to normal
@@HearthstoneMathematics I wouldn't use the word Abuse here. AFK XP Mining was an abuse. Keeping the Standard packs for the next expansion is wise investment in your collection..
Currently lvl 182, 24% Perils Achievments. I probably won't play a lot anymore. Burned out on the metagame and will only play dailies until the expansion release.
The most important packs are the ones I'll hopefully be farming from noobs in the Tavern Brawl event today. I am free2play, but I have any Whizbang or Paradise card I want, and 30 Tavern Tickets because I don't play much Arena, so I'm hoping to rely on those to do decently. If players cannot Craft the Beyond cards, I wonder if paying players will have such a huge advantage, as it should be impossible to have a complete collection for this event, and they may simply not have key synergies they want. I am level 150 on the track, and my Achievement % for Paradise is 0%. There are 2 complete Achievements but I'm saving their XP for the next expansion. As for the rest, they weren't very applicable to what I was playing, I guess.
TBH I see new tabern brawl as a good idea for Premium players. As F2P I can totally skip this tabern and nothing unfair happens to me. 😅 It's way better than pre-order exclusive cards for example. I'm lvl 153 on Reward Track and get 8% of archivements from PiP. 😊

Some months ago, you made a very informative image on how to spend gold (like buy 5 pack of perils, then 5 pack of this, then 5 packs of that...) do you plan making something like this for the new expansion? I agree 💯, the fact they are investing less and less on the media shows how out of touch they are… This expansion has absolutely everything to be a homerun, but just by the direction they’re going I’m considering using my huge dust pile and not invest a single dollar in the game. I absolutely love the art, theme and mechanics; but the game shows decadence in how they keep cutting on the awesome cinematics and songs they were known for…. I might be an exception, but with a good trailer I probably would’ve buyed the bundles.
I have the same impression, the way they want to desperately boost pre order sales while not maintaining other parts of game makes me feel like we're on a sinking ship. I'm also gonna spend dust only.
I'm a free-2-play player. I've never needed resources and I have a ton of dust, but I want to support the game and so I periodically buy the Tavern Pass, although I don't care for cosmetics. I haven't made any purchases this year and decided to do so during the third expansion. I really like this expansion but I feel like the game has lost its atmosphere. Without the mood, new cards are just game elements. As of today, I have no desire to make a purchase and it's sad but I hope I will change my mind.
Reminds me a bit of Nathria, which had a pretty interesting setup, but they didn't do anything with it, though they at least had a board and cinematic. Great Dark Beyond is possibly an even more amazing theme, but there's even less that they are going to do with it.

@@RathElTigre when expansion is live, standard first. That way the majority of cards you get from the standard packs will be Great Dark Beyond cards.

Level 238 with Rewards Track and 70% on Achievements, which have been more grind than usual to complete. Looking forward to the Tavern Brawl.

With Tabern pass since the second week of the expantion. I play daily for like 2 hours.
I'm at lvl 159 with no tavern pass. I completed 64% of the PiP achievements.
Old Animated trailers are what brought me back to HS after 6 years, very sad to see that they don't do them anymore

I wanted to play more but then Renathal was enabled and the only fun deck to me (Espionage Tess Rogue) got outvalued by the uncreative meta control decks that danehearth's rogue deck was designed to counter. Also the lack of midrange increases the issue of no room for creative meta approach
Whizban is at 29% - how does that relate? is that still low?
I don´t play Hearthstone since january. At first I felt relief and a bit of regret. But later I regreted not quiting sooner :)

Time spent in this game, could have been spent better to play other games I´m much more interested in.
I´m probably burned out. I don´t want to "step into the same river" for second time.

Level 151 with Tavern Pass, 14% Paradise Achievements.
I have played HS for 8 years. These days I only play to finish quests and get legend so the rewards track level only depend on how fast I am able to hit legend. But I still enjoy HS. I am a long time premium player so I could be biased, but I do think the balance and economy HS is completely fine. I get one prepurchase bundle and the tavern pass every expansion. I am able to play whatever I want and have a lot of excess coin+dust. I picked up MTGA in recent months and guess what, both the balance and economy are god awful.
Themed boards and cinematic trailers will be missed. This is very normal when we are used to getting them and they are taken away. Exact same sentiment in the Overwatch community. Blizzard really does an exceptional job on these kinds of stuff.
Fun fact: I hit a jackpot with the packs during Perils of Paradise and reached 100% collection within like 150 packs.

F2P, i complete my weekly quests every week, almost all dailies too. I play every 2 or 3 days for i'd say one hour or two.
Since the PiP launch in late july, i've played a total of 421 games
Level 205 and 18% of Perils in Paradise achievements. This expansion I didn't grind much for completing achievements.
I am at level 153 on the rewards track without the pass and have completed 11% of the PiP achievements (dont care about them and also mainly play Battlegrounds)

I'm currently level 143 and a mere 4% on achievements. But I've never been an achievement hunter. I play the classes I like and avoid the ones I hate (looking at you, Druid). I usually play Standard and Battlegrounds. However, I'm really getting sick of the power creep in Standard. If I wanted so many OTKs and bullshit, I'd play wild.
I am at level 172 on the rewards track with only 2% achievement progress for PIP.
level 137 on the rewards track and 95% done with achievements ... i have two more achievements to do and took a 3 or 4 week break so im way behind on the rewards track compared to normal
Standard packs are much better than new expansion packs. It's sad that some people don't understand that.
These packs are only good if you abuse their features. For most active players who open packs immediately, Standard packs are a source of dust.
@@HearthstoneMathematics I wouldn't use the word Abuse here. AFK XP Mining was an abuse. Keeping the Standard packs for the next expansion is wise investment in your collection..

The most important packs are the ones I'll hopefully be farming from noobs in the Tavern Brawl event today. I am free2play, but I have any Whizbang or Paradise card I want, and 30 Tavern Tickets because I don't play much Arena, so I'm hoping to rely on those to do decently. If players cannot Craft the Beyond cards, I wonder if paying players will have such a huge advantage, as it should be impossible to have a complete collection for this event, and they may simply not have key synergies they want.
I am level 150 on the track, and my Achievement % for Paradise is 0%. There are 2 complete Achievements but I'm saving their XP for the next expansion. As for the rest, they weren't very applicable to what I was playing, I guess.
Seems like I made a good call here, there's tons of people farming packs in the Event right now lol.
TBH I see new tabern brawl as a good idea for Premium players. As F2P I can totally skip this tabern and nothing unfair happens to me. 😅 It's way better than pre-order exclusive cards for example.

Do you plan making a "Ruote" for this expansion? Some months ago, you made a very informative image on how to spend gold (like buy 5 pack of perils, then 5 pack of this, then 5 packs of that...) do you plan making something like this for the new expansion? I'm a f2p player, I have 2,5k gold and I would like to know how to effectively spend it..
reward track level at moment is 175 ,but game achievements only is 10 % and never buy any paid tracks

Biggest issue with PiP meta is the strongest decks were also the easiest to play. Most braindead meta in quite a while.

I'd really want a board for this expansion. I am looking forward to the new cards and mechanics. The first 2 expansions this year were underwhelming.
I agree 💯, the fact they are investing less and less on the media shows how out of touch they are… This expansion has absolutely everything to be a homerun, but just by the direction they’re going I’m considering using my huge dust pile and not invest a single dollar in the game. I absolutely love the art, theme and mechanics; but the game shows decadence in how they keep cutting on the awesome cinematics and songs they were known for…. I might be an exception, but with a good trailer I probably would’ve buyed the bundles.
I have the same impression, the way they want to desperately boost pre order sales while not maintaining other parts of game makes me feel like we're on a sinking ship.

I'm a free-2-play player. I've never needed resources and I have a ton of dust, but I want to support the game and so I periodically buy the Tavern Pass, although I don't care for cosmetics. I haven't made any purchases this year and decided to do so during the third expansion. I really like this expansion but I feel like the game has lost its atmosphere. Without the mood, new cards are just game elements. As of today, I have no desire to make a purchase and it's sad but I hope I will change my mind.
Reminds me a bit of Nathria, which had a pretty interesting setup, but they didn't do anything with it, though they at least had a board and cinematic. Great Dark Beyond is possibly an even more amazing theme, but there's even less that they are going to do with it.
Im at lvl 154 of the pass and 20% of achievements, full f2p. Did all daylies and weeklies. Didnt play as much mainly after the miniset because i hate the big spell mage meta. Also the removal of afk grind really hurt me.
I got to level 158 of the reward track without the pass and have the 27% of achievements PiP gameplay.
