Classic Whitesnake....Great tune....The soul of the blues lived on in this band for a loooong time.....Hats off to em'... Coverdale is a monster vocalist...still is today....and he's 57....wow... Wot about Cozy Powell ..amazing... Jon Lord ..pained keyboard fills.... Hodgkinson holding down that bottom end with precision on the lefty bass....Mickey Moody playin the piss out of the rythum parts on that Les Paul....and then unfortunately..

ten years after Mel Galley followed: 2008
last in line mighty Jon Lord died in 2012
what a great song and, btw, everybody, anybody loves mr. Ritchie Blackmore, no doubt about it... but this fully original Mel Galley version is and must be unforgettable
He, Cozy Powell on drums and David Coverdale, of course, display the trademark cockdriven hardrock of yesteryears

I Prefer the version of Hammersmith Odeon 1978 of the album Live... In the heart of the city. A great solo of Bernie Marsden.

Blackmore does a better solo - But Coverdale's vocals are amazing. RJD's are diifferent and therefore as good. But I prefer to sing along to DC. RJD is too good for me !!

It may not have the twiddly bits of Blackmores but it goes with the powerfull performance which is collectively the best I have seen it done,by anyone.

....Mel Galley blows it on the lead break.. Dont get it... He was amazing in Trapeze but it seems that maybe he was drinkin' too much er sumpin cuz....he lost it......the solo was messy... ventured out of the appropriate key.... he warbled diads and triads when the solo is clearly the perfect vehicle for soaring ...searing single note runs....Mistreated is another word for PAIN.....not NOODLE....sorry Mel..RIP bud....but come on brother

@drfotboll he played it excellently and he's mel galley, or well he is dead now, may he RIP. He was a guitarist in Trapeze as well, an excellent one he was. I think cozy does well on this song, but he seemed to have a tendancy to "rush" other whitesnake songs, which was not good. My favorite is Paice, although Cozy was a more "straight" on rock player, may he also RIP

Ne stedi se ni najmanje,daje sve od sebe...koliko je on koncerata odradio....dobro da moze ikako pevati,mada je i danas odlican.
Sada ima preko 60 godina,ovo je bilo pre 30 godina....nemoguce je sacuvati glas ,a ovako pevati,na zalost je tako :)
