I live in Portland and hit all these spots, but would just like to point out that we don't get super desperate for spots. There are more around, and downtown has a spot every block. Portland is heaven for skating when its dry and im really glad to live in a place with such a strong skate community and all the spots.
@@daKandiman14 maybe the Econolodge downtown on 4th Ave? if ydgaf about luxury it's not bad and will probably be just around the cheapest deal you can find. plus it's within 1-3 miles of just about every spot they hit in this video. All of the downtown spots are within a mile to 1.5 miles from it
We are glad you guys like the SKATE series. Please share it with friends as the only way we can keep these going is to make sure they get views. In a couple weeks we are hoping to get a SKATE Atlanta with Justin Brock.
You might not get a chance to skate with Habitat & adidas Pro Silas Baxter-Neal in real life, but you can tag along for a skate tour of Portland. Watch the new SKATE, cause it's a good one.
First thing I thought when I saw this was "It'd be cool Brent Atchley came out in this" Always loved that you can view the world just through skate videos, great series
Haha what I think is funny is this doesn't even scratch the surface of how amazing a city Portland is skateboarding-wise. There are all those fun street spots in Portland as well as some of the best concrete skateparks anywhere with Burnside, Glehaven, Brooklyn Street Spot and Ed Benedict. And Windells if you're willing to make the drive.
I’m a freshman at Lincoln high school! But its getting torn down this year and I’m just getting into skating so I’m going to try and hit it before that happens
It's awesome that there is manly skate tourism in Portland, a big network of skaters. I'll be there soon, shortly ill be making mi own Portland friends. Saludos desde Mexico, Aguascalientes.
I live in Hillsboro Oregon and if you ever get the chance go to reedville Oregon and wpsp indoor skateboard. I'm a local and skate all the time at reedville
I luv this series u guys have really inspired me to continue skating and trying my hardest and trying new tricks and stuff, keep up the awesome vids this series is sick I luv it keep up the great work :)
I think covid might have changed all this too, I moved to Portland at the beginning of 2020 and would see kids skating at Directors Park, north of PSU all the time, and the unitus plaza quite a bit, for a while seemed like it was ALL open lol

Cal's RX dope shop, been around for a long time.
The best part when the skaters assemble the deck at the beginning of the video. :D
always amazes me how they've managed to not get any serious injuries like broken bone etc. their style is so cool too.
Why are those Mt. Tabor handrails not seen in video parts ever? They're fucking sick!
jeremy rodgers had them in one of his videos of course he doesnt skate professionally anymore i dont think
I think covid might have changed all this too, I moved to Portland at the beginning of 2020 and would see kids skating at Directors Park, north of PSU all the time, and the unitus plaza quite a bit, for a while seemed like it was ALL open lol
dude i saw silas at burnside skatepark. i suprised why he didnt show burnside skatepark in this episode
Oh ok so will u do SKATE Atlanta please
I have watched everyone of these but merry Christmas
Yu guys should start doing these again
sweet looking skateboards
that warehouse looks sick
hell ya Brent Atchley!
that beat is some sort of remix of 1984 by bowie isn't it?
WHAT MUSIC IS THAT PLAYING IN THE BEGINNING. IT'S FIRE!!!
I think it was Josh Harmony that did a back board on the rail then front 50-50 on the hubba in that no no runway spot.
all of those spots are so fun
Feeling this song, remix of 1984 by David Bowie but by who?
everytime i see one of these vids, i wanna move to the place

anyone know that one outdoor park that's in the opening credits of Portlandia? i know it's not much to go off of
nice one keep them coming!
myfav videos on the internet
Anyone ever tried downtown Gresham? Has some sick skate park. There's a nice 6 step with a hand rail at the U.S. Bank
I remember going to the opening of that skate park. It's tiny but sick!
yeah dude haha other than some street stuff in downtown Gresham that's all we got
+NYLON gms The corner of civic and burnside has a 7 and 4 stair if i remember correctly that are both pretty fun
is the skating scene dead all these videos they talk how much bigger these spots were back in the day.
***** I think it is more just way more skateparks have been built which kills skating on the street
best place in the world
6:45 has to be the chillest, steeziest wallride ever....wtf...
Who knew Brent Atchley was still alive
