- As part of Eurocana Summer Camp Reunion 2016, Steve Caballero, Mike McGill and Kevin Staab dropped in at David Östlunds' Precious Pool. A perfect Swedish summer day, and Precious Pool was surrounded by Stockholm Skaters, checking out the Legends as they started dialling in on the lines of the pool. If you watch the full clip, you'll see a huge Staab BS Ollie as well as a Caballearial.
I met Mike McGill at the volcano skate park many years ago when the park was still opened. He came for a few days for a wedding and was touring the island. He was in dress clothes and didn't skate. He took a few photos of me skateboarding the bowl and halfpipe. I felt that He was really down to earth and cool.
I saw Steve skate at this place in new hall called Billy’s in Cali. The air they catching on flat ground made my knees hurt. Another level of skater even still.
What a rad session ! Thanks for posting this !Almost felt like I was stealing, getting to watch these legends for free 🤙
What? Kevin Staab?
I met him in the summer of 1988. Incredible skating!!
Staab wearing that soundgarden shirt and Soundgarden wore staab’s 90 clothing 🤙🏽
I bought a green McGill 10x30" deck at my local skateboard shop called Oasis. I built it into a complete and I still have it in my apartment. I can turn my head to the left and see it from where I'm sitting.I put sky hooks on it. I have about a half dozen other boards with sky hooks that I still ride to get air and do handplants on.
I'm the same age as the Bones Brigade guys and grew up looking at their skateboarding pictures in the magazines and then on visiting videos.
Great example of the evolution of skating a new pool.
Hands-down favorite skater of all time is Steve Caballero. I wore his shoes when i hit my first set of 6 when I was 12.
That was really cool of him to let you borrow his shoes!
@@user-ed8zf5zv5j lo fuqing L bro that was great!!!!! Ha ha ha you just made my day better with that one. Shit i wish i could skate Steve Caballeros personal half cabs no but they were my shoes with his name on it
@@Trev612 I had a pair myself in the 90's. They were olive green and red in color -- went well with my PLA uniform.
I had the watch the whole thing to see Staab land that backside air, looked nice!
amazing session, its incredible these guys are still killing it, inspiring indeed! at thier age and still killing it!!!!! really inspiring!!!
Beautiful vid....I love the sounds of skating.
Respect to these legends
Yes the sounds
Cab with that...cab though. Love this!!
Do those cars passing by know that legends are shredding that pool
Cab has been the man since the '80s.
Cabs always been my favorite!🤘
You all probably dont care at all but does anyone know a way to log back into an instagram account?
I was stupid lost the password. I appreciate any help you can give me!

Totally amazing see theses heroes of skateboard.❤
Steve's owning this!
wathcing the line around the top of the stairs is so sick
Had a Kevin staab sims. Pirate. At the beginning of skate "career" lol
This is the best bowl riding video I have seen! Like being behind the scenes at a practice session. Great knee sliding tutorial.
Right? I thought something must be wrong with the pool, they weren't landing anything.
I typed vhs videos but somehow it came out visiting videos.
That pool looks super fun!
Super kool session and awesome bowl.
swedish skaters are the nicest ive met
Jim Dor yd
Cab. Best skater of all time. No competition. Lots of other greats, but he’s the best.
Not sure about that. But, he is good.
Rodney Mullen imo
Probably why Thrasher named him skater of the century!..
Nice to see the old-timers still have their knee slides down! LOL! Cab got in some good grinds. Wonder what Hawk would have done if he was there.
thanks for another great video with you an Suki 👍🤘
Brian from northeast ohio
Kevin Staab was also part of the Bones Brigade at one time.
so awesome!
Love this bowl video 📹
Awesome to watch these 3 still showing us how it's done!
Staab with the Tatum air- up there!
This Session would habe blown up. If they Kicked up the jams and had some Food to eat..
Steve was shredding
Nice shirt Kev!
Yeah Steve the Cab was dope
Ya Steve, Ya Mike...pull it...

bones brigade still ripping
Too bad Lance and Hawk weren't there too.
I'm just getting into this type of skateboarding. Can anyone tell me the best wheels to use.... Is 58mm to big? Is 56mm the best size? What about hardness? Any brands/models
Wheel size will depend on your set up, how much lean your trucks have, bushing duro, your weight. I'm 511 at 210, riding on a carver cx set up with like 80 something duro bushings, and rkp front truck. It LEANS, and I've got 60mm wheels on my board with zero wheel bite.
stockholme????? how do i skate this?

Hi id like to talk to you about your cars limited warranty
Awesome video, but, Uhhh, that would be 3 Bones Brigaders. Staab was on the BB also.
Cyberblank Staab rode AM for Powell but he was a Sims Rider formthe majority of his pro career.
screw up left and right!! lol!! ;)
And price is right
Staab should join Powell so he could have his own Flight deck. That would be so sick
@Silver Legion I think he currently skates for Birdhouse
He was on Powell-Peralta back in the day before he went to Sims.
Happy balloons..for old navy....christmas...jesus
Mc gill has good style
Anyone know who Kevin Stabb skates for now?
Someone else said Birdhouse.
Back on Powell
Old farts still got it ....dang I miss the 80s .

Everyone with the custom 187s lol
My question is how do the younger skaters today not wear pads? I'm being serious. I was watching a video the other day were some were skating a really tall bowl. How do you bail???
And for those who do wear pads, it seems like Rector is less common now?
@@idmhead0160 You don't need to bail if you've skated everyday since u were 4 !!
@@jimmyy9273 Give them another 10 years and see where they are. Namely, count the metal parts they have in their bodies. It catches up to everyone. Sooner or later you're going to have some broken bones if you are pushing it. Especially, if you are skating a tall cement bowl with no protective gear.
I need a new hip,for real, but man that hip jump is so farkin rad,can I still say stoked...
I workout alone

Should just say " 3 Bones Brigaders". Staab was on Powell before Sims....
@Silver Legion Im pretty sure he was only amateur, and not there long. Staab, Jeff Grosso, and a ton of others were actually on Powell, although fairly briefly.

God put Steve Caballero's head on crooked
I was kind of thinking the same thing. I think he angles his head sideways.
@@idmhead0160 I have always thought that even from his footage when he was a young boy.
@@bugnut82 I found out after making this comment that he has scoliosis (where your spine is crooked).
@@idmhead0160 Makes sense. I knew you (and me) were not making fun, just making an observation.

Why do they keep bailing?!!
Because they are in their 50's...let's see how you do when you are that age. Hope this helps!
@@pigandrunt exactly... Better to bail than not skate for the next few months!
Hb
That pool must be hard to sk8 cause thay were sk8ting so badly
It is hard to skate yes. Some pools makes you slam harder than other pools. This is one I have respect for.
Did it makes me upset that Steve Caballero keeps bailing so much
That shallow end is not even close to vert..... Boring. But I would be stoked if was in my yard.... Tight kidney or an egg suits me better, but I know nobody asked me... Fun high speed carves would be fun in there
