Hey everyone! I just wanted to say that im not a mechanic. I noticed my car was making weird noises. I did some research and watched a couple videos. I thought I could fix the problem on my own at a cheaper cost. The fix ended up working and it saved me time and money. I wanted to show you that if you are experiencing the same problem, maybe this video can help you and you can fix it on your own as well. Thank you for watching! Good Luck.
The use of fragile plastics for small gears like the AC actuators, blend doors, shift interlock systems, etc,. have been problematic for Dodge and all other Crystler Corp vehicles. The plastics wear out and get weak, the teeth get chipped off, etc. Fortunately all of the above are simple fixes providing the OEM parts are available. If not, I've found there are some good quality after-market suppliers. Dean Seattle

Great Job!
Great video
Does your Avenger have a built in refrigerator? I saw a video that says the early model Avengers had a fridge in the dash.
The only bad thing about the cheap Amazon and eBay ones is that they break fast
What size was the tool that you used?
honestly you can use any standard Philips screwdriver
How did you do this without taking the whole dash out
I just removed the glove box and was able to get to the actuator
