    Very well done Chris.
I see people quite frequently that do not know how to load a trailer
You sir, have certainly done your homework.

This is a very cool hitch. Over here tow hitches are designed for a maximum tongue weight of 90kg (198pounds) which can be hard to judge and for a big trailer it is always good to load close to the max amount

Thanks for watching, Joseph. 198 lbs would mean I was overloaded on the rear of the trailer!

Hey Chris, I know this is very technical but would this be a good option for my 2 5/16'', 7x16 enclosed Cargomate trailer? Im really skeptical of getting the 4in drop and not getting enough actual drop after its installed. Should i go with a 6in to be safe? Also, how do you feel about overall build quality/strength of this Weigh Safe hitch over the B&W tow and stow? How is the overall length of the hitch from receiver to middle of the ball? The B&W is right around 10 inches, same with my current straight tri-ball setup. Thanks!

Wow, I apologise for the slow reply. Apparently I missed this comment when it arrived. It's probably too late now, but to answer your question, I think if you're worried about the 4" drop not being enough, I'd go with the six inch. After all, you don't have to set in all the way down, so you can set it at four inches.
The build quality is excellent; after month of usage I'm still totally satisfied. I can't really compare it to the other brands, but I can't really find any faults with this one. The distance from the rear of the truck's receiver to the center of the hitch ball is 5 1/2". Hope that helps, and again, sorry for the slow reply. 👍😎

Good info, I noticed that for your tire ballest, you have 400 lbs. I have the larger 15 x 19.5 on my lx and based on RimGuards website, providing my dealer filled the tires correctly, it adds 375 per tire. With the smaller 14 x 17.5, their website states it's 248 per tire, with your trailer GVWR, that nearly 100 lbs will not matter. I wonder if many really know what the correct weight of their tractors are, have considered taking mine to a scale.

Thanks for watching Lew. I don't have RimGuard, but something else, which escapes me at the moment. I did the tire ballast calculations a while back, but I'll try ro dig then up! 👍😎
