As an employee of UPS, you can ship pallets just like Fed Ex. Thing is, the person telling this story is saying they would ship the boxes separately for 1500 to 2000, and not telling the truth that you can ship LTL pallets by UPS. It does cost more, but the 99.9% completion rate is what you are paying for. FedEx gets 85% and calls it good. Ship the boxes by Fed ex and then tell me what the cost is. It will be closer to 1250 to 1750, but you get that 85% completion rate.
not trying to be an ass but there is 11 states in the US that are themselves bigger than the UK. honestly i’m jealous of how cheap shipping must be over there

is this LTL? Or all that individual boxes go to different addresses?
That size pallet to regular mainland UK destinations from the same roughly £50
the US is way bigger then the UK the pallet has to travel much farther distances
