It's interesting stuff , can't wait for the next video on , Cone and Shuttle teledraulic for operation as used on Matchless g80 1948-50 , I'm still looking for the compression and rebound dampening 🤣🤣 , I am going to try adding a non return valve to change the flow direction through the shuttle valve , very similar to the Eddie Dow units supplied for old BSAs
Mountain bike suspension has the spring on one side, damper on the other. Marzocchi made their shiver fork which had a spring and damper in both sides!
Great video. I can recommend you investing in a good quality RC, I've been in the RC hobby for years and the amount of stuff I've learned and still learning from it is amazing. From tuning engines, suspension, electronics and batteries (learned to solder electronic components because of RC) , chassis set up, the list goes on. I can recommend watching Kevin Talbots channel a watch granted he's...how should I say this he's a bit marmite lol and he's not the most technical RC channel out there but chances are you might find he's "reviewed" an RC that will suit what you'd want.
Yep I know that channel and a very much agree on the marmite, also " he's "reviewed"" hahaha we are defo on the same wavelength there! but yes I have had a look at some via his channel. it is just the coast as i will need new radio gear too.
i will be pleased if you make a video & explain the holes like, how much and whats better between 2 x 6mm holes or 4 x 3mm holes on the compression hole✌️
That last sentence didn't put a damper on the rest of the video. If Florence was riding a bike with knackered shocks and Zebidee on the pillion, how long would he stay on?
Hey, I need your help honestly. Got a new fork caps for Yamaha R1 2006, but the right fork cap, rebound isn’t working. It moves freely. Any thoughts/solutions?
Be careful attaching a 360 camera to an RC car, I ruined the lenses on my Insta360 One R attaching it to my Tamiya Hornet! :D Great vid on damping Spicy 🙂
Suspension setup seems easy at first (set for sag), but get's too complicated beyond that. I just can't afford a professional (Dave Moss), and I mostly ride casually.
I really felt the pressure you were Under to do this vid, but its bound to get some views!
Thanks spicy!
😁
Excellent demonstration. Thanks.
Very enjoyable and easy to understand vid. Good job. Thanks.
Great video, will offer some basic tuition to our Formula Student team. Thanks!
awesome video and explaining! thank you. makes much more sense now

@@spicy110 Most Ready to run cars come with reasonable read gear these days.

Can confirm, cars with failed shock absorbers/dampeners is dangerous AF with the way it bounces.
Either way a shockingly good video!
AWESOME VIDEO FANTASTIC
The technology of suspension isn't that complex. The complexity is setting it right... good video.

@@spicy110 so did I, one of them got ripped off, it was good footage though! Hahaha 😁
@@HippoDrones well....shit haha I do plan to do it on sand if i do so may help
@@spicy110 that is a better plan than a tarmac car park! :D hahaha
You are a very clever man spicy. I've always thought that.🙂
I'm finally early!
