FIRST! and HUZZAHH another insight into our favourite tinpot soldier The Cybermen bought to us by the very talented Chosen Chimp! These videos are a source of light in these dark times.
@@TheChosenChimp I do like the original script in billions of ways, and the miners on the unnamed asteroid of gold are awesome and I like the way the Cybermen are concealed aboard the space station Nerva before the beginning of the story and they are better portrayed in the original than in the broadcast version.
These videos keep popping up in my recommendations, and I’m like “wow, this dude REALLY likes cybermen! 😂” I assume people say the same things about me and synthesizers, so don’t worry! And I do dig the cybermen, especially Tomb and Earthshock.
You occasionally speak of parallel evolution within the same universe context. Is the Planet Mobius, specifically South Island a possible contender? It could be argued that a typical Robotnik Badnik is more Dalek than Cyberman, however those things blur the lines. I would like your thoughts.
@TheChosenChimp Heck yeah!! I know there is a audio story about a cybermen called the silver turk and it's so interesting same for spareparts that audio was so dark
@@TheChosenChimp I d say the Cyberleader in Revenge portrayed by Christopher Robbie, is not quite as menacing as David Banks in Earthshock onwards but he does a reasonable job. I do prefer David Banks and Mark Hardy as Cyberleader and Cyberlieutenant to Christopher Robbie and Melville Jones in Revenge of the Cybermen, I do enormously like Gerry Davis original script version for Return of the Cybermen to Revenge of the Cybermen, and also the asteroid of gold having human miners stranded on it is awesome too and the asteroid been unnamed was the case unlike in the finished serial.
I like and prefer Gerry Davis original script, to the finished programme and it has the planet of gold in but unnamed and only appearing in episode 3 of the original script and also the planet of gold is populated by human prospectors instead of aliens. I also having heard the Big Finish version of the original script several times it is certainly an improvement on the finished show.
I typed in "what was the proverb of the scarf?" and Google's first result was: "Irish Proverb - No Man Ever Wore A Scarf As Warm As His Daughter's Arm Around His Neck".
The Vogon homeworld is called The Vogsphere.. Just a tiny sliver of slightly interesting information.
IIRC Nick has a fondness for the Invasion-style "Cyber-Faction"
"...doomed to a life of death..." is what has me giggling😮😊😂
"Posing like a bossy PE teacher" ... sir I resemble that remark!
.... it's also true ....
The Chimp has spoken. Hunny wake up !

I started to listen to this but had to stop, as i couldn't stop comparing it to the original i'd seen on tv.
Dude I've been following your channel for a good 2 years and your stories on the cybermen gets me as always hooked ❤
That really means a lot. Thank you. 🙂🙂And sorry I'm not uploading more regularly.
@TheChosenChimp no worries!! We all have busy lives!! Tho I'm curious have you thought about doing a video on the dark dimension cybermen?
I covered it very briefly on my Dimensions in Time vid. But I could give it a deeper dive at a later date.🙂

So we're stuck with the Cyber faction invasion dudes not the bulky nomads in this story, that's a bit meh.....
I prefer the invasion ones over the nomads in my opinion.
Matter of opinion
Please tell the proverb of the scarf? Proverbial relates to proverbs.
