Reaper , I appreciate your videos bro . listen i have the same Gsxr 1000 and i ordered a evil swingerarm after watching your video but what I'm wondering is do i need any special lowering links or shock brackets ?
@@kingnarshawn709 lowering link IF you want to lower it to make the rake and trail good to go. Usually kickstand, lowering links, chain, brakeline is all you need depending on the bike...k67 is different. Outside of that everything remains the same. Your bike without links will look like it sits up high in the rear. If the bike sits to low without the lowered kickstand it will sit straight up and can fall over as the bike wont have a normal lean. Hope that helps
@@kingnarshawn709 yes u will need lowering links and u probably will need to lower the front a little as well. I believe the stock trees allow your forks to be lowered without buying anything
@fearthereaper1300 i appreciate you big brother. I got my bike in the shop as we speak and the dude said I needed a $200 part because with the evil swingerarm the tail of my bike is sitting high . So I told my wife let me reach out to you asap. If you stuck with the original lower links on this build then I don't need lowering link . I like the way the gsxr 1000 sits in your video .
Hi and thanks for watching. The spacer on the rear is a modifed oem brake caliper. You simply mark it off cut it and use the oem as a spacer or you can buy one. Hope i earned a sub and like and if you have anymore questions let me know
