- How To Make A Faux Wedding Bouquet - featuring roses and phalanopsis orchids
Ingredients - 3 x large roses, 2 x stems lisianthus, I x stem silver fern, 2 x small stems faux asparagus fern, 2 x stems small headed orchids.
Everything has its place - and faux flowers now are off a very good standard, even ones easily found in regular shops. Today’s video features 8 stems of faux material, and we wanted to see what could be done with them.
Well you could create a classic shower style, but it looked dated - so we went for a retro, slightly crescent inspired posy, which is ideal for a simple modern wedding.
This bouquet would be easy to carry, and is perfect if you are travelling abroad to marry - and gives the perfect keepsake.
To be honest it’s not an expensive way to create a bridal bouquet, but the result does not look cheap - just add any little touches to personalise.

I had fake fowers for my bouquet, bridesmaids, cake deco, and centerpieces. and my uncle watered the centerpiece for 2 years and told my mom how good it was still doing!
😀 faux flowers can be very good now - I had the same when I went on holiday - the person watering my plants also watered the fake ones 😂
So many weddings I've attended feature faux flowers for the personal flowers of the bride and wedding party. At the church, often, the only fresh flowers around are those at the altar. Thanks for the ideas (again) John. I agree on that shape - sort of mid-century modern! Bravo!

Like your idea of having remade bouquets so the bride can see the various shapes possible. However, I never found the price of artifical flowers to be cheaper than real flowers here in the United States.
At a wedding fayre they are great for display and letting brides handle a bouquet - it really engages them into a conversation. With faux I think you can use less materials to get an effect, compared to fresh, and you only need to buy what you need 😀🌼

Hi there, I was suggesting that you create a handle of your own- so it might be ribbon wrapped, thin or thick, beaded - there are so many choices. As long as it is clean,neat and comfortable that’s the main thing - but it can also be decorative by adding colour, or wire or lace or bead overlay. Lots of options! 😀
