    I like to do away with blackberries myself but either one at a time, in a cobbler or dumplings lol.

    You do really well with that grading bucket, have you considered a tilt grading bucket? I've had one for 10 years now and I couldn't live without it!

      Thank you, I wouldn't mind having one, but I use my thumb so much that I just don't think it would benefit me in most situations. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful weekend 😀

      My bucket works off the auxillary circuit so I still have full use of the thumb in conjunction with the bucket, there is no loss of the thumb use, in fact it's enhanced. You have fun with that 80 in the snow this weekend also!

      @williamiteconner9918 I have daul auxiliaries, most of the tilt buckets I have seen close inside the bucket and don't pinch. Does yours line up with the thumb? I am hating the snow. I know we need it, but it's making work difficult. The 80 doesn't get to play in the snow. 😁

      I have the 057 and yes the thumb does close inside the bucket, but I've not found it to not function as I need it to. I had the bigger thumb on my last 057-4 and I had an interference issue with 2 plow bolts sticking up, I removed the bolts and its cured the issue. On my newest 057 I went back to the narrow thumb like you have and am pleased. Maybe it wouldn be ideal for you, but If my tilt broke, I would have a new one the next day! This weather is not making me happy either, got jobs to do...Gaaaa.....

    good morning Question I have a KX40-4 which would you recommend flail or mulcher? just starting... what model if, you can help

    • @jeramyreberpuredirt7873
      @jeramyreberpuredirt7873  8 місяців тому +3

      I am running the Brush Hound FX26 Defender mulcher. I have had both. The flail works good on lighter stuff, but the mulcher works good on lighter and heavier stuff. They flail is more forgiving in rocky situations. The mulcher is faster and does a cleaner job. The flail is about half the price of a mulcher. I hope this was helpful. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀

    Nice job. Did you ever have a bank collapse while you were straddling it?

    • @jeramyreberpuredirt7873
      @jeramyreberpuredirt7873  8 місяців тому +2

      Yes, I have had banks collapse several times. On a smaller trench, it's not that big of a deal. You just have to lift yourself out of it and clean the mess up. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀

    I’m assuming you don’t own a skid steer since I don’t remember ever seeing you use one in a video. Do you ever feel the need for one or is the excavator really all you need. I’m on the fence about buying one or the other.

    • @jeramyreberpuredirt7873
      @jeramyreberpuredirt7873  8 місяців тому +1

      I have a skidsteer available to me. It's my dad's. I really don't use it very often. But sometimes it is very useful. Usually, I can get everything done with the excavator and dump truck. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀
