  • Evergreen often recommends upgrading bathroom fans as part of an attic air sealing and insulating project. The WhisperGreen from Panasonic is our most installed fan and has settings for low continuous flow as well as delayed shut off on high after the wall switch has been shut off.

this is the best video explaining the multi-speed time delay switch. Can you provide us information on the wiring diagram as well as the exact model you're using -- thanks.

thank you for the informative video. So much easier than trying to read and understand the directions in the manual. The installer wasn't very clear explaining to me Again....thank you very much.

Auto controls are ironically archaic. Switch on/Switch off, it's not that difficult. I don't want my fan running continuously pumping heat out of the house. If I need a timer I'll install a timer switch with various time settings.

You're missing the entire point of these fans.

Which model number is this? I have a 15-20 year old Broan fan/light that has bitten the dust and has bad bearings. Looking into a new fan and possibly one of these Panasonic Whisper series ones, as I've heard good things about them. Also when you have it on highest speed in the video what is the sone rating? Any info is appreciated.

I have a model FV-05-11VKS1 WITH inbuilt motion sensor ,the fan is work but delay time switch is not work, when I set 20 mln or other time there's no changes! Work continuously and no change speed, any recommendation? May be there's need to split two red wires?

what is the answer? I am having the same problem

I’m having the same problem so chances are we are all operating it incorrectly. After watching this my guess is that if you put the cfm dial to zero, the timer function will begin working. The first clue is you have two different cfm switches. The slider is maximum cfm, the dusl is continuous meaning it never turns off and is a minimum continuous setting. I will confirm tomorrow.

This fan is loud af. I live in an apartment and I swear neither of these fans turn off no matter what I do with the settings. We don't have a switch either. :/

@@VArailfan89 it ain't bad for use, but they just never stop. It's like listening to a jet engine idle.

it depends on the CFM setting. so if you adjusted it it would be quiet.

My filter is full of dust. It's awful. Can I replace it? Where do I get one? Please help

Exhaust fans don't have a filter. You can vacuum the grill and you can remove the grill and vacuum the blower blades while brushing them with a small dry paintbrush. if that doesn't get them clean you can add a small amount of water to the brush.

Helpful but filmed like the Blair witch project. Very difficult to actually see.
