This is happening to mine I just changed all coils and plugs and it’s still misfiring and all gas smell and like 2 mpg but I’m not doing this myself too much shit

did the same job to my z, you can unplug the fuel pump fuse and crank a few times to get rid of fuel pressure in the rails, gas melts styrofoam so would of just leaked right through...
So I'm guessing the plenum gasket was the issue? My 350z has the same type of pop at idle occasionally with a p302 cylinder 2 misfire code replacing the gaskets right now going to see if that fixed itm
I don't know if it was a plenum gasket or the knock sensor and subharness since I replaced it all at once. replacing it all fixed the code and misfire, though
@@MelMedTV Good! Thank for the reply I switched my #2 and #4 injectors and did my plenum gasket set at the same time and the gasket was my issue! CEL has stayed off and not gone to cylinder 4 so I'm stoked easy fix.

Did you just replace the "middle" gasket (6 holes) or both the lower gaskets too (3 holes) to fix your issue?
@@AGiraffeOnFire Neither, not the manifold gasket or lower plenum gasket the upper one. It's the biggest one where the plenum spacer goes.
Waffeey Ah damn I’m having the exact same issue as you but I have the aluminum kinetix intake manifold so the upper gasket isn’t an option in my case
What's the torque specs on the lower plenum?

You ohm out a injector and you'll never know its clogged without doing a flow test which is more involved.

Fuel injector wiring harness. Comes with knock sensor harness from Z1motorsports....under $125
When you get a P0327 code 9 out of 10 it's the knock sensor wiring harness I know I've been through it
i think my sensor went bad itself lol. Im at 161k on Original everything
Most common fail part is the fuel injection wiring harness. The heat kills the plastic plugs. Z1motorsports for $125
