Trailer looks really good. Hope dad likes purple. lol. The empty place by the fuel tank and welder maybe a tool box or removable vice or hose reel for: electric/air/fuel or oxygen and acetylene hoses
Not to mention, using a single 14-16ga wire (that’s god knows how long) to “charge” a welding machine battery AND run a 12v fuel pump?? Just wonder what’ll burn up first
You dont understand how the 12v battery feed circuit works in a pickup. It's a fused circuit. That is all standard equipment regardless of what it's feeding, be it a hydraulic dovetail with a 12v hydraulic pump trailer. The wire will never burn because the fuse would pop first, assuming a direct short occurs. It's designed to be a slow charge, not a rapid charge like jumper cables
This trailer is very nice. In this free space - at least part of it - I would place a small/medium-sized crane and two stabilizers underneath.

Would be nice to have all that on reels for sure
Hey Bobby, nice work, that’s a pretty neat trailer you built from scratch. I would add a nice vice to it and a ice chest of some sort for drinks
Hmm, an ice chest. Thats a good suggestion
Nice trailer maybe a space for another toolbox or long objects
Thank you
Looks like a nice trailer!
Thanks!
Backfeeding 12v into the reverse circuit of a pickup is a recipe for a voided warranty lol. All just to save the $3 for a diode?

No, there is no issues feeding 12v back to a pair of 12v lightbulbs
