Hello Sailrite, how much stretch would you allow for in the fabric during installation? Is there a certain percentage stretch rule of thumb that I could apply when measuring up?
The grommets used for this tramp are a spur grommet. They have teeth that bit into the fabric and roll around to grip or pinch the fabric. A common washer grommet will just float on the fabric, and they should not be used only a spur grommet is acceptable in a tramp.
Any tutorials if someone were to make a tramp but add the rope inlay for a tramp to slide in the crossbars? Attach a zipper head and inlay the rope on the side that is needed?
Great video, do you have a video like this that shows how you would sew in the rope into the sides like on a hobie-cat 16? I'm not sure the name of that so searching it out has been impossible.
Not lacing, the rope that is sewed into the actual trampoline that holds the trampoline onto the hobie. It slides into a channel just like sails on some masts. I was really just wondering if that had a name, then I could look it up if you don't have a video that shows how it was done.
Bryce Blake, the rope is actually not sewn on tramp, the rope is welded on the tramp, which is a totally different process. It’s done with a hot air welder.

+Sailrite Interesting. Thanks for demonstrating that project. By the way, is it my imagination, or is the video narrator pronouncing the name of your company without the letter "L" -- SAY-rite?

This design is not strong enough for bolt roped trampolines. I made a set of 7 Hobie cat trampolines using this method. The Shelter-rite tears off the edges in use. The trampoline mesh should be folded over to create a hem inside the Shelter-rite so the mesh fibres can't just slide off the cut edges of the fabric. It also requires 4 rows of stitching not two.
Debs a real artisan…..top skill level reached.
I was the 1000 like 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much for being the 1000th like!

I made one out of wood and tap and it works it is so cool and we did so many tricks you should try it
Do those grommets pinch the materiel as well or are they just floaters ?
Are these for bouncing or for laying, or both

Sorry, we do not have a video showing lacing of a trampoline.

boltrope is the word you are looking for.
Best trampoline can be an old spring mattress. Hit like if you agree and dislike if disagree. I am not sure so I want to vote please.
It it the same process with piping? Like on a hobiecat 16 trampoline?
Yes, it is.
what would you say the load rating is on that trampoline you built?
Is this designed to be jumped on or just layed on?
Wait..... What's the slit and missing cube for?
+Random Rainbow The slit and hole in this trampoline was for a mast opening for a boat.
Great how to video!!
Thanks!

Its cool

I think some of the people commenting on this video are eating tide pods.
It would cost you less just to buy onr
Typically the cost of material is about 50% less than the cost of a finished project.

I don't see the info for building the frame of the trampoline. Do you have a tutorial and materials list for that?
Your boat should already have the frame.
Yo I wanted to ask how much you payed to do this
Nothing, since we were just demonstrating how to do it for you.
This doesnt make sense its on top of an wooden board
