I am going to build a custom playhouse / play place for my daughter.
I am going to make it modular, so I can expand it as she gets older, renovate it if needed, all with ease of transport in mind if/when we decide to move.
I have never done anything like this before, so wish me luck 🤣 🤣 🤣
That's good to hear. Best of luck to you my friend, you can do it. If you do a video or have some pictures, I'd love to see it when you're done.
@@bowx I am definitely going to do a video on it.
Thank you for the boost of confidence!
I created an email for my daughter a few months before she was born, and have been sending her videos, pictures, messages, etc. And on her 18th birthday, she will get the password for it.
The play place will be one of the videos, but I will also upload the video(s) to this channel, and I will make sure to let you know once it's up!
@@joshuahauser5994 what a beautiful idea! I wish I'd thought of an email journal like that when my kids were younger.
It is amazing, I want to build one for my girl too, but I do not how to choose the material, can you please include all the material name, so I can go buy them and make a house for my daughter!!! Please!!!!! And the measurements of the house please!!!!!
I made my own shack outside for 50 dollars in 2 by 4s and some osb for around 70 dollars. I sleep in it daily and dug a trench from our electric pole and I have outlits and even installed an ac unit lol
I would love to see the plans for this😁
Yes excellent unit. I'm goin to try it too with a deck in front.
What tools did you use.. awesome club house btw!
Realmente hermosos!
Looks great…although materials would probably be 3x the original cost
Absolutely love it! I wanna build one too!
For my brother 😁
Lol
Amazing!!! How many hours did this take you?
This is so awesome! What tools did you need?
love the work mate but that's a dangerous balustrade, way to low.
👌🏽👌🏽
cool
😘😍😃
The railing height is not up to code
Hey really enjoyed watching your video do you have a list of what exactly you would need to build this nice club house?
Hey, I honestly don't remember, but most of the frame work was 2x4, the floors and roof was plywood, and the walls were just fence pickets. I found the fence pickets to be most affordable and since it is meant to be outside, it's already weather resistant. Hope that helps
Going build this
Do you have a list of materials and tools because I definitely want to do that for mine they need an art space
did this work out for you w/o a foundation in the long run?
BAO hoang wow cool we try to make a playhouse and did it need a big place to make it we love it if it is a big place needed it is fine we will make another ok ❤️❤️☺️☺️☺️and please 🙏🙏 tell us how many days needed to finish it 😯😯
Do you have any plans for this build? I would love to build this for my daughter.
Hello! I love this little club house, I’m trying to build one for inside the house for a bed, is the middle support on the inside essential, or could more beams across the roof support it enough?
Awesome design! I think I'm gonna build one of these for my kiddos. A couple questions, were those L brackets you used to connect the framing together? You gave the width and length, whats your height or how long were your vertical support beams? Thanks in Advanced!
Hey there, yes the were L brackets. I don't know the exact length, but i was about 1.5inches on each half. The entire height not including the top rails is about 4.5ft, and with the rails is 6ft. Our HOA is ery strict here and did not want anything taller than the fence, and the fence is 6ft tall. Hope that helps.
What’s the height of the playhouse i would like to know
What size are the triangles?
Awesome Man AWESOME!!!!
For the framing of the base, roof and vertical studs, what size lumber was used?
Hi how much were the wood you used for the floor and how much for each picket cus me and my freinds are building one
For the fence pickets I've seen it range, upwards to about $1.50 or so, but looks like Lowes has it form $1.17 right now. I put the link in below

For the floor, I used 3/8 inch thick, 4x8ft plywood and reinforce it with 2x4 underneath it. I think when I made it costs in the high teens. Lowes has it now for $21 each

I hope that helps
@@bowx thank you that helps so much
@@shrekdog4535 did you make it
I would raise the handrails, you don't want any kid to fall back
jose Rodriguez my kids would jump off the top first day!
😅😅😢❤😊
Did you draw out a blueprint 1st, or did you have the design just mentally in your head?
I had a rough sketch, but nothing too detailed. Mainly the width and height of the building and where the stairs were going to be. I'm not a carpenter by trade by any means, so I had to learn along the way as well.
Bao Hoang thanks!
I the build one like that
Can you send me material list
