Just bought my first sailboat ever, a hobie 16. Your channel has been a great resource and I’m sure it will continue to be. Thanks Joe! Best wishes, Josh from Colorado
When I installed my Salt City Sailings trampoline I laced the center first and then the back. I didn’t end up with any wrinkles in the tramp or the rear lacing strap. I think I started lacing the rear strap to the tramp on the second eye instead of the third eye.
I've been in touch with Salt City Sailing and they're going to start producing them - great idea, although maybe taking your car keys on the boat - less of a good idea.

Welcome aboard!
The orange deck pops nicely.
Looks even better in the flesh!

Good shout - that would stop the strip from bunching inwards.
❤❤❤❤❤
I really looks as good as it looks!!! Thanks for putting this together. Looking forward to the first ride!
My h16 has a slightly older model of the trampoline without the trapeze line cutouts. Might reach out to see if it can be retrofitted…
Any sail maker would be able to fit some eyelets
What are your thoughts on using a strip from an old tramp and weaving it between the centre lacing to stop your car keys failing through?

@@JoyriderTV hehe.. I have made one for my boat. I put two eyes on the ends to tension it to stop it bunching up and keep it under the tramp.
Hi Joe ;-) I need a new trampoline for my Hobie Tiger from 2001, any idea where I can get a good one in Europe ?
Very good trampoline for your Tiger from OS3 sails here in Vassiliki:
