This is masterpiece from Armani Code. Absolu lasts and projects a bit longer on my skin tho. I get easily 9h. The dry down is something that I can not resist! It's inviting and sensual, not as cloying as Profumo. I wore this even to work and several customers asked me what I was wearing that day, they said it smells no like other colognes out there.

Steven, great video as always! I smelled at a retail fragrance earlier today and I really liked this one! To me, AC Profumo is sweeter whereas this one has just a touch more spice and is in perfect balance and harmony

I've had this one for afew months now and it was a blind buy due to the lack of reviews and places to sample it back then but thankfully i'm happy with it. Admittedly i moisturise first and i definitely overspray at around 8 sprays because i often work in a cold environment but it normally lasts 8-10 hours on me.

I love this fragrance, and I always get alot of comments from all demographic. I will buy again.
I actually agree, on skin it lasts like 5 hours however on outfit it can last like 10 hours then slowly starts to dissapear, sillage I noticed by 3 hours and I can still get whiffs in the air but I dont think I did after that, I feel like Code Absolu is one of those fragrances that causes olfactory fatigue, I hope I am right, otherwise the performance just isn't as decent as Profumo

I got a decanter of this cologne and I wearing it right now it seems to me like I'd smelled this cologne somewhere else years ago. From another fragrance house. I think it's a nice scent but it's too much on the sweet side.

thx for your review.. just bought this one last week. I like the profumo too so got that (yesterday) for a pretty good deal (75.85usd /60ml). You mention the 60/110ml size but they also sell the 1oz/30ml version here in Holland. And as it comes to longevity the profumo lasts longer with me than the absolu.

Definitely on the top of the must sample list when on the hunt for a tonka scent. Code Absolu / Allure Homme Extreme / PDM Carlisle. Absolu is kinda a creamy suedey tonka... Opening is it's sweetest point and it gets more polite in the drydown. I could actually see wearing this to work if sprayed lightly. Compared to the dark nutty woody almost boozy beast Carlisle.

Thanks for the review Stephen hey just a comment I just picked up some Glenn Perri Darksider blue for $45 at a place at the mall I think it's decent performance isn't too bad and it smells kind of exotic and fresh would like your take on that thanks I really like the sent it's different it kind of smells like Hugo Boss tonic but it's fresher and more exotic also like Aspen,it's kind of a Hidden Gem in my opinion

Gentlemen I love this cologne it’s sweeter yes but why not be unique everyone has strong or citrus like
Colognes why not stand out, this colognes very inviting too so many people both genders of all age groups come into my space and ask me what I’m wearing the longevity is pretty good not super amazing but gets the job done and the projection is also goo I had a girl in my class say “I smelled you a mile away before even seeing u turn” and I asked her is it too strong ? Or too much? She said “hell no” it’s a great scent it’s not strong on the nose as to cause u irritation but it’s not weak that would cause someone to not notice u

I had a lot of expectations with this fragrance but it's another sweet scent like one million powdery on a dried down that's it at least on my skin and also very expensive.

Its a like for me but not a love. It smells a bit like a toned down version of Spicebomb. I stick with the original Armani Code. After many years i realize that the original Code is a pretty unique designer fragrance.

Anyone notice a strong similarity with Paco Rabanne’s Pure XS? The sweetness and overall vibe are almost identical to me, like if I smelled both of them in the air I don’t think I would be able to distinguish one from the other

What does the word Absolu mean? Is it a designation?
What does Flanker mean? I got a Sampler with 13 designer colognes. This Cologne was in the sampler. I am able to buy a full size bottle of my cologne of choice. So far I am leaning towards Paco Rabanne Invictus Legend.
Flanker means a different version of a certain fragrance. For example, Invictus Legend is a flanker of Invictus.

I bought it but I smell a strong rubbing alcohol scent, even after a while. Any thoughts on that?
I have a bottle from 2019 and I have never smelled alcohol after it dried down. Maybe it is reformulated, I hope it isn’t...
Guys on my skin it's weak and lasts 3-3,5 hours. Granted it's close to 30*C here and my skin don't hold to many fragrances too well, but.. If it wasn't from Sephora I would have thought that I've bought a fake. I was pumped about it and don't know what to think - is it just because of the hot weather, is it my skin, bad bottle, olfactory fatigue.. but it's smells kinda faint and powdery to my gf too after only about 2-3 hours on my skin with 3-4 sprays..?!
