Every cosplay I make a mistake somewhere, its like a 'collect them all' situation haha! My most recent is probably Eivor's Axe. I made the mistake of going "I'll add that detail at the end before priming" then I forget all about it until I've primed and painted. Also made the mistake on my Roller Derby Harley of forgetting if you sew a stretchy fabric... if you don't adapt the machine for it... the stitching will just snap when you try and wear it. OH WELL!! haha!
I did that with my Wonder Woman shield too. Wanted to add some scratches and weathering at the end and totally forgot. Then had to try and do it with paint instead.
Really helpful. I also do the cosplay of Antman and one of my antennas keep breaking so I was wondering if I bought the one from Hasbro would work better
Glad to hear it was helpful. Did you make your own helmet? Not good that it's breaking. Only thing with using the Hasbro one for cosplays is that if you go to a con it might be heavy to wear around all day but looks great in photoshoots.
