Obviously Professor Arnold appreciates quality. I've been using DiMarzio clip lock straps since the early 90s. I put my first one on a 1989 BC Rich ST Platinum. Still own that guitar. Original strap is still attached. Nothing better!

Ive been using Dimarzio straps since 1987. They are the only straps on all of my guitars.

I like straplocks, for sure, but not a fan of those dangly bits on the guitar. I know a lot of guitarists like these, but I'm not one of them, I guess ;)

Ok question on my mind is are the screws longer?
First time I did strap locks I used the supplied screw and it stripped back out
Second time glue and tooth picks and it stripped out.
Next time I did just glue some saw dust and much longer screw than supplied. Those seem to hold best in my experience.
So yeah just wondering what dimarzio does different that a screw alone is all good. Ive used shaller style locks on my stuff.
I would say, yes? But I'm not familiar with strap locks, so I can't say with certainty. I will say though, that I've got more than thirty guitars equipped with DiMarzio ClipLock straps, and I've never experienced the issues you've described! I recommend giving one a try to see for yourself. If you find they're not for you, it most likely wouldn't have broken the bank!🎸

always had to get the longer ernie ball straps or it looked like I had an out of wack bra. Lol 😆

once you go Dimarzio strap lock you don't go back, first thing i do when i acquire a new guitar. also why do guitar companies fit a middle pick up?! just adding additional cost and looks worse (imo) aesthetically.

Definitely not! I've got straps on various guitars that I've had on for yeeeeeeears and they're still money! And those guitars have been around the world many times, in and out cases night after night, trailers, flights, etc. They're very well made!👌
