Respect to the hammers. My favourite away fans in terms of noise and numbers ....although sketchy af in 80s down green street. I later lived in area, in Plaistow, played footy in Sunday league etc but West ham was great club proper fans and community club like us
Big respect from a Portuguese fan, we don't have target men like this in our football. Was always a fan of Big Dunc and the way he played! Plus to see how much respect he pays back to his club and shows his loyalty, great stuff....
i can say as a liverpool fan , i respect everton a lot . there is just immense passion and pride that people associated with this club show . i can understand the passion and love of evertonians as well . man united i hate but i respect everton .
This man is Everton football club!!!..I've had the pleasure of watching him play and score for my beloved Everton!!!!!..My all time fave and it's gotta be time for a statue when Bramley Moore is built!!!
I'm an Arsenal fan and even though we had our fair share of hardmen over the years, I've got to doff my cap to Dunc. Proper scary dude, would've clumped Roy Keane.
Big Dank has always been an ardent and sincere person and of course I respect him as an opponent from the Toffee camp! I've been a Liverpool fan since 1990 but I always admire the Big Dunk! Good luck!
This is random I live in Kent I suffer with anxiety and panic disorder i don't really have anyone in my life I don't even live close to Everton but I feel like I have something in the club that's there for me when I'm down love the Blues 💙💙💙💙
No worries mate. I'm in Ashford and try and get up a couple of times a season. It takes a bit of planning re tickets and trains. If/when you want to go look me up. All the best.
I really want to make it, i want to be there, i promised to myself ! I'm from Indonesia, and be the Everton fans since 11 years old while mostly kids in here be the man u, chelsea, and pool plastic fans..
You can talk about his goal ratio, his injury record and I don't care. For me, he is, was, and always will be an Everton great because of his LOVE for us. There's never been a man who loves this club more than him. His passion when you hear him speak ! Goosebumps ! Big Dunc, the binman and the Rhino. Heroes all to me.
So much he fucked off for Newcastle for a shit stint there, even they mugged us off by returning him because he was shite. Next you'll be telling me Rooney is an Everton legend and Amokachi, Jelavic and Michael Mader were prolific.
30 years old and growing up big Dunc was my hero, and he still is... all these managers have been coming and going who don’t understand the club and the fans aren’t connecting with the team! Give big Dunc the top job and make everyone’s dreams come true! We’re Tired of seeing the midfield jogging around getting paid more money than I’ll make in a lifetime, money that comes from us buying shirts and tickets. Make dunc the boss and he’ll give them all a kick up the backside. When we hooked Moise Kean about 10 minutes after bringing him on people were confused but true blues know that we need that right now, our team doesnt try and they have had the last 5 managers sacked, it winds me up. LONG LIVE BIG DUNC. Imagine him taking us to Wembley or Europe! Couldn’t do any worse than 10th!
I was there away at Portsmouth for his debut, I was there when he first scored against Liverpool, I was there for the reserve game when he was released from prison and the pipe band was playing, he was born to be an Everton hero
4 generations of my family have supported Everton. I get to sit in the same stadium my great grandad went to. Hopefully one day my kids and grandkids will do the same, whether at Goodison or somewhere new. I know exactly what Dunc means.
Большой Данк всегда был ярым и искренним человеком и конечно уважаю его как противника из стана Ирисок! Я поклонник Ливерпуля с 1990 года но всегда восхищаюсь Большим Данком! Удачи!
My first derby as an 8 year old was that night game he scored his first, When he slides there is a ginge at the, rideout slid for the second and my older cousin carried me out on his shoulders - didn’t think that atmosphere would ever be beat, was in the Gwladys for the Utd game and gotta say it just pipped it for me as the best atmosphere I’ve witnessed at goodison - night game with big dunc playin against one of those is so thin special
I met Duncan at my mate Howard Martin’s ‘Blue BBQ’ in Oswestry in 2019…..what an absolute gentleman….time for everyone….great man and up there with great Everton centre forwards….and how we love our centre forwards at Goodson….as my Dad (RIP) said….‘he’s like Dave Hixon was….they keep him in a cage and feed him on raw meat until Saturday’….😁😁😁
Funny big Dunc cannot imagine his life without Everton I believe it to be the other way round the things he went through off the pitch says so much about the man he inspires the club and fans a true blue forever
He's a decent enough fella as i spoke to him a few times away back around 92/93 and if that incident never happened at ibrox with J. Mcstay he may never have went to Everton, may never have met his wife etc so it all worked out well for him in the end. Funny how a bad situation turned out to be the best thing that happened to him after all.
Love this, my heroes growing up were Alan Ball, Bob Latchford and Dave Thomas but the big man was a great blue in a time when we weren't that good. It's great that his kids sit in the street end, a proper blue. Good luck big man. NSNO.
DF represents the old ideal of the footballer who stayed true to his roots and never distanced himself from the fans. He may not have been Everton's most skilled player ever but his commitment and physical presence were enough to show the fans he was one of them, not some mercenary prima Donna.
oddcabbage 78 I agree with everything you said but...... Oddcabbage? What a fukin name!!! And if you were born in 78? Even better. Me too.... young enough to remember pat van den ratcliffe 😂 but old enough to remember Roberto funes ebbrell!! Respect!
We don’t love dunc for his skill or goals. We love the man, the passion and the love for the club. Duncan Ferguson is Mr Everton, that’s why we love him COYB NSNO 💙
Couple of things that stick in my mind about Duncan Ferguson. A very neat nutmeg against a Palace defender at Selhurst Park. The look on his face after an Everton goal at Stamford Bridge.
As a Rangers fan .Simply love Big Dunc .What happened to him in Scotland was an absolute fucking travesty . Delighted for him he found a spiritual home elsewhere.
Beating Three Liverpool players in the air to score without them having ANY effect on him haha.. and he's not even fouling ANY of them.. has there EVER been ANY British forward OR given that, ANY British player, better in the air than Big Dunc?? Lol he was so dominant up there when on form that, considering he's footballs ultimate hardman, they couldn't even really stop him by fouling him. The Everton school of science is defined by this legend. Wayne Rooney was our most talented modern time player, but four men SAVED us. David Moyes, Joseph Yobo, Kevin Campbell and of course Big Dunc.. Now back to cutting these onions..
Big Ding, a proper football man. As a Celtic fan glad he left for Everyone. He has made Everton his New Rangers. His love and loyalty for Everton is amazing. He is a proper legend. Reminds me of Eddie Gray and Asa Hartford from the days Scotland had proper footballers in abundance.
West Ham fan here. Having a player who understands the club culture and who connects with the support is very special.
Good luck to Big Dunc
Scott Bowman

Everton Managers may come and go, but Dunc must always stay !

Big respect from a Portuguese fan, we don't have target men like this in our football. Was always a fan of Big Dunc and the way he played! Plus to see how much respect he pays back to his club and shows his loyalty, great stuff....

I'm an Arsenal fan and even though we had our fair share of hardmen over the years, I've got to doff my cap to Dunc. Proper scary dude, would've clumped Roy Keane.
I'd imagine he seriously wanted to take him out, but he held back for the team 👍
Remember when Keane was having a go at him for elbowing scholes but wouldn't look him in the eye. Nobody scarier than big Dunc.
love you everton... you always in my heart
Big Dunc you can’t help but love him. What a character and a absolute demon in the air with his headers !
