Chamberlain whisper drive garage door light repair

Chamberlain whisper drive garage door lights quit working about 12 years ago. So I finally decided to repair them after I tripped over a bunch of boots coming home from work the other night.

HI, I just changed my light bulbs to LED light bulbs and for some reason my garage opener in the car does not work anymore. Are these somehow related? I also just changed the battery in the garage opener for the car last month. Please advise your thoughts. Thank you

I have heard that led lights can interfere. I guess the only test would be to swap the incandescent bulbs back in a try it. Keep us posted on what you find out.👍👍

some brand/models of led will interfere with the remote. Try changing to a different brand or different model of led bulb

I have the same exact garage door and it will not open or close unless I hold down the open or close button instead of just pressing it how it usually was how do I fix it do you have any idea

If it does the same thing on multiple remote controls then perhaps it’s in the opener control board. Try relearning the remotes. If it only does it with one remote and not the others, maybe the remotes battery is weak.
