Hi Shannon! hate to say it 100% agree with your comment about your mums comments. i am sure i read that 90% of the employed population feel sick about going to work every sunday. My mum loves to tell me she thinks i should work forever but i dont think they understand how stressful employed life is these days.
Hi Shannon! First - love the music in this one! Second - these sweaters are so fun, so light and no wonder your spirits are better which I’m so glad for! Love the speed of thicker yarn right now. It’s helping me get stuff done ✔️✔️✔️
Thank you!! Good to know about the music! Omg, yes to the faster knit sweaters! I still have Renniger yarn in my queue to knit this year. Itching to cast on, but resisting until this yellow sweater is finished 😮💨 ❤️❤️❤️
I'm so glad Egg is getting better. They're our babies. I love your sweater you're wearing. HAHA! I didn't know your mom watches. Maybe as things ease up, and Egg gets more and more better- the load won't feel as heavy. Things are hard at times. Hugs! I also get you about selling wool. I destashed on ebay, but it moved because it was so cheap. Like it was unfortunate. I'm headed to a very low buying year...I have to. Have a great weekend. Hugs, Kimberly
Thank you!! It's such a relief!! I really thought Egg would die, he was so miserable. Now he's curled up next to me happy as Larry. Wow, I understand unfortunate pricing! I think I've come pretty close to that myself! I like to think it's good karma though! Perhaps some well priced yarn will come into my life as a result, lol! ❤️❤️❤️
Another great podcast. I’ve watched while working on a sock which has been a really relaxing end to my day I’m glad that your kitty is on the mend. I love the colour of your son’s socks and I love both sweaters that you are working on. It’s hard to believe that we are so close to vlogmas starting. Though I’ve spent the last two days doing Christmas baking as the fruit cakes and sweet mince benefit from time to mature it still always seems surprising to me how quickly this year has gone. .
I'm working on my Mabel's Sweater while listening to you talk about yours! I love the handspun version, so pretty. I'm nearly to the bottom hem, close to done and can't wait to be able to wear it.
So funny this constant color-focus-adjustment in this video! Less annoying for us than for you, but definitively super interesting! The apps are getting toooo smart and even smug now... And much funnier that your mum watches your videos and comments :-) Mums are always to be mums! I was surprised since you never mentioned her, or knit socks for her or something like that... I only remember you mentioning your father once in regards to his influence in your clothes color choices in your childhood... In any case, an interesting person like you surely has had interesting people and interesting interpersonal interactions in her life from its very beginning
Oh, that's good to know that it wasn't annoying! On my own re-watch through editing, I was worried it would be ghastly 🤪 Oh, mother! She's so critical, lol! I mentioned her lots in the earlier episodes. She's in a home now and cannot have valued personal belongings, nor hand knits, unless they can be machine washed, and even then, they don't often make it back to her, sadly. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi from Melbourne Aust, enjoyed your podcast and love the Mabel's sweater. Is your yarn 4ply on 3.25mm needles as per pattern ? On screen it looks like it's a much thicker yarn. Just trying to think what I could buy here to achieve a similar look. Maybe some Noro.
I've tried that! I can't say I took to it, though. I think I probably needed to give it more time, but I quickly landed on these flexi-flips and they clicked for me! I love all the options we have these days! ❤️❤️❤️

Right?! I agree!! My mom was a nurse her whole career and loved it. Unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky... Thanks for commenting!! ❤️❤️❤️

I ❤ what Martha’s wearing! Excited to hear about it!😊
Yay! Thank you!! ❤️❤️❤️
Love your new sweater with the colorwork sleeves. So cool! Thanks Shannon for another great video!!!
Thanks so much, Beth!! ❤️❤️❤️

Wonderful!! I know, December is so soon!! I love it though, and am so excited to immerse myself! ❤️❤️❤️

I didn't expect to love the stitch so much! It's so pretty!! I can definitely see making more!! ❤️❤️❤️

I went back to double points for socks
From magic loop? I'd go for dpn over magic loop for sure! ❤️
I use 9” circular for socks
