Oh my, what a wonderful program! I was so touched by the music at the end, the glimpse of Andrew, and the parting drone shot of the lighthouse. And, Andrea....that hat!! You have the perfect complexion for that amazing color. I also really like the sweater you are making, and you are going to look wonderful in all that color. Thank you as always for a fantastic show.
You really captured the atmosphere of the PEI Fibre Festival, Andrea and Madeleine. Your presentation was a highlight for me. I met two new friends at Fleece and Harmony the night before and we bonded over our love of Fruity Knitting. I see glimpses of Corynne and Jill in this episode which makes it even more special! I have to commend you, Andrea on what a delightful daughter you have. She is a credit to both of you. Not only did she spend time with all of us after your presentation, but she was genuinely interested in connecting with us, no matter the age gap. I urge anyone who is a regular watcher of Fruity Knitting to head over to Patreon. I consider your work to be like buying an excellent knitting magazine every month as a treat to myself. Your work needs to be supported so we can continue the quality interviews and the travel footage you bring us about twice a month. It is money well spent. All the best !
I agree silk mohair can look so nice with shiny fabrics. That's why, for my friend's recent mountainside wedding, I knit a mohair sweater to perfectly match the silk dress I sewed! Then, with my leftover mohair, I knit a beaded lace cowl and matching mittens, and good thing too - because it wound up snowing quite heavily during the wedding! But I was perfectly warm in my matching set.
Thank you for such a wonderful and informative show. Makes me want to visit Prince Edward Island. Will go on my bucket list. I remember Andrea when she was a young girl in Australia. Your dad told me about your channel. Well done.
Brilliant episode! I'm a regular Fleece & Harmony viewer, and Kim's steadfast work and enthusiasm for the fiber arts definitely coincides with yours. Thank you for showcasing a grand event and its creative community!
YEAH! So nice to see Kim and Fleesce and Harmony showcased on such a popular knitting videocast! Thank you Fruity knitting! I love the whole team at Fleece and Harmony. Tried to get to the 1st and 2nd PEI Fibre fest but Covid and Fiona happened and then Life has happened and couldnt make the last two years. I will get ther eventually! On my bucket list😂🥰Sharon.
Thank you for a wonderful visit to PEI and the fibre festival. Enjoyed every minute, even had to put my knitting down occasionally so as not to miss anything!
I had a GREAT time at the Fibre Fest and really enjoyed meeting you both! My sister and I from Illinois, USA brought our husbands for the week so we could attend the festival and had a wonderful time exploring the island, too. P.S. It was also fun to see ourselves in your video!
What a great festival!!! Meeting you both was the biggest thrill!!! My neighbor Jill and I enjoyed your talk immensely. Thank you Kim and @fleeceand harmony and all the organizers and volunteers, you and your crew did all of us Maritimers proud with this wonderful event!

Thanks again for a beautiful view into another wonderful festival! My husband and I really would love to come in a year or two! he can golf, I can enjoy classes, and we both love Anne of Green Gables, so we will both be very happy!
This was a wonderful episode. Three of my favorite podcasters on the same show. I learned about Fleece and Harmony from seeing them on your podcast years ago and have watched both your shows from the start. We visited PEI a few years ago and that was one of my must stops. Thank you for a beautiful informative episode.
What a great video! As I sit here with my knitting on a Manitoba October evening, I am transported to beautiful PEI and savouring the Fibre Festival! Well done, thank you so much!
I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this episode and hope to visit the PEI fibre festival someday along with Fleece and Harmony's store. I also might need a beautiful hat in the near future. Best wishes!
I love the hat it looks great on you, the video was very interesting bless you for the energy and work you put into the video all the lovely people who played their part.
"Smiling" was definately the theme of the PEI Fibre Festival! Everyone had such a great time. Met so many new fibre friends, enjoyed learning new skills from workshops and purchased beautiful yarn, garments and accessories. It was a real pleasure meeting Madelaine and Andrea...I hope there are plans to revisit the Maritimes again in the near future. Wonderful job interviewing and showcasing the local fibre, people and landscape. Thank you!
As a HUGE Anne of Green Gables fan, I jumped to watch this episode--and as usual was thrilled with it. Probably one of my favorites yet! Thank you ladies, for another feast for the eyes.
This is an excellent episode. Andrea your Do Ewe Yoke is so gorgeous, the colours that you picked are perfect together. I wish I could have gone to PEI for the festival. Maybe next year. You should really move to Canada - lots of Extreme Knittng to be made here 😉
I love how relaxed and playful Andrea and Madeline are in their interviews, and especially in this episode. I have been a Patreon supporter from the very beginning and cherish every episode. I hope to make it to PEI next year.

Thank you to Madeline and Andrea, such wonderful ladies! We appreciate and we are quite honoured to be part of this collaboration. In case anyone noticed, I (Leah) indicated that the last fire was in 1995 but it was actually November 1st, 1994. I think nerves got to me. :) Sorry for any confusion.

I loved this episode! I recently saw Kirk Dunn's play here in Ottawa and was so moved by it and by his art. I love PEI and you captured the warmth and beauty of that island. ❤
Great episode! As a Canadian it was great to hear all the local to me info. I was really interested it what Sue Smith was saying before it cut to music though. I have a similar spinning wheel that needs repair and in that short glips it looked like she had the solution I need.
I've taken a hiatis from knitting and drifted away from your channel after Andrew died. He would be so proud of the two of you!!! Madelene is beautiful in every handmade hat. Your channel is the most professional presenttion, even a travel log that is continued from the earlier travel days with Andrew. You've mastered the drone and filming and editing and total presentation. You are beautiful ladies inside and out -- so talented. I've missed you and am inspired to pick up my needles again soon! Thank you and warm wishes for your continued success!!
Andrea, I am totally with you regarding gauge for sweaters! I'm also forever adjusting patterns, unless it's a designer that doesn't think a loose gauge is more drapey (I think Stephanie Pearl-McPhee calls that type of fabric...droopy, lol). Also, Amy Herzog's book is great.

Madeline is such a poised and natural presenter. Should be on mainstream TV.
I have thought many times that they should be on PBS (in the USA).
Just Madeline.
Oh no! They’d corrupt her!!!!!
