There was no priors. What are you talking about? Why does everyone want to make it Hannah v. Baldwin?? Halls said that the gun was OKAY when she handed it off. Doesn't that mean that it's OKAY? Doesn't matter if she was booted out of the church after handing it off or she left to go do something else while they setup cameras and lights and played hookie under the counter. Doesn't matter.

@@klipschornyGood point. But they didn't do any testing at Hannah's request to test it. So, if it's incriminating and helps the prosecution and not Hannah, why didn't they test it? Part of prosecution case in NM v. Gutierrez was that Hannah was negligent in bringing live ammo onto the set. That and keeping a messy go cart.

To those watching, case was dismissed with prejudice (meaning charges cannot be refiled so it’s over) after the defense filed a motion to dismiss and the judge granted it on the basis on the prosecution withholding evidence that would have likely changed the outcome for the defendant. That evidence was a box of live ammo.

Team Baldwin - truly don't understand why this trial is even occurring. There was no criminal intent. This was a series of errors in the set processes where safety protocols should have been in place that would have negated this occurrence all together. In this case, the action was scripted--if he even was the one who pulled the trigger. Mr. Baldwin does not deserve this stress, expense, or to re-live this tragic occurrence. All who have a moral compass would already feel awful for what happened. This seems more like cruel and unusual punishment rather than what our justice system was intended to do.

What a difference in quality of lawyers between Hannah Reed’s case that concluded in 18 months jail sentence vs this trial where its completely dismissed because of evidence scorched by the prosecution. Regardless, the defence was able to exclude the safety failures as a Producer and only defend Alec B as an actor. He would have been found not guilty since the gun safety was the Armourer’s, Hannah Reed, and the AD’s, David Halls, responsibility.
