I followed your instructions, used FixaFlat for a Honda CR-V rear tire, and the leak was sealed. Next, I'll have to see how long the fix works. Thanks for the advice.
This does indeed work, I have used it over the years a bunch of times. Be mindful however that valves usually don't like this stuff and repressurizing after the glue has hardened might be a problem. Many times at the gas station air compressor, it will pressurize the tire but the machine will have problems reading the tire pressure.
Gunna try this on my '99 suburban this weekend. Been having to air it up every week like clockwork once a week ever eince it got cold and hopefully this fixes it
fix a flat is usually from a small leak inside the tire. You could try both the plug and the fixaflat at the same time. Put the plug in first, then do the fix a flat However do so at your own risk, because a hole from the outside is more risky.
Hello, I have a question. What does it mean when the fix a flat isn’t going inside of the tire? Instead it’s just making a mess everywhere. Am I doing something wrong? I follow the directions and it’s not going inside of my tire 🥺
@@HelpingHermit hi! Yes I had it on tightly. and actually you just made me think of something, because I did have a lot of air in my tire, I had filled it up like 2 hours prior. I’m assuming it didn’t have enough room to get inside. When it starts to deflate I will try it again. Thankyou for responding 💙

Amazing man. Its been over two weeks and there is no signs of leakage anymore. You saved me thousands! Thanks a lot!
when you actually change that tire your going to hate yourself for doing that
Going to try this in my Toyota Avalon. Thank you for sharing step by step for us female's that doesn't have a man to help us out.😊
Thanks!
thank you so much
This one's for the algorithm ty bro
My brother used this stuff 40 years ago on his cars, i guess it still is the go to tire quick fix, and it's budget friendly.

it should last the lifetime of the tire.

Cool Nissan I like the color
This was helpful! Thank you.
You're welcome!
@@HelpingHermit new subscriber, too. I love that your video didn’t have fluff.. the directions were clear and concise.
I ran over a nail, and the guys at Goodyear left it in there, and it blew up on me the next week. You can’t trust mechanics.
Goodyear guys are not mechanics 😂 they're just entry level workers
How do you know what a 1/3 of the fix a flat is? I also have the same problem with my Volvo front right tire.
you don't have to be exact. You'll get an idea with the weight of the bottle in your hand and how slowly the foam is going through the tube.
@@HelpingHermit I put it in Today the cap would not screw on and when it did I lost most of the contents on the ground.

Great video! Even a rim leak?….
Thanks, I'm gonna try this and hopefully save £££ on a tyre
Thank you!
so if I did find a small nail/piece of scrap metal causing a slow leak, is it more worth replacing the entire tire or plugging it up?

are you sure you have it tighten really well. Its normal for some to spew out. maybe you have too much air in it. Try to remove some air from it.

question my leak seems to be coming from the rim, will this still help?
its worth a try
I have the same problem. I have a tire that goes low every few weeks. It still does it after getting new tires. I hope this fixes my rim leak.
@@Martin_Entertainsupdate? I have that issue after getting new tires SMFH
@@RatherBSkillinMAGA It worked 🥳
Cracked rim@@Martin_Entertains
thanks
I do this then when it pops flats with the fix a flat I get a new one
You may “want” a UA-cam play button but what you “need” is to skip a meal
😂Come on, man! Don't do him like that!!😂😂
What happens when you get a new tire?
Their site says it should be removed within 3 days or 100 miles, whichever comes first. So obviously it's only a temporary fix sadly
You could have a leaking rim.
$8? I spent $14!
its better than spending 50 on a repair or 200 for a new tire
17 bucks on sale here lol
need 57K more subscribes 😮
13+ bucks now for fix a flat 😢
its better than 50 dollar tire repair or a new tire
