Man, it must have REALLY been the Wild West back then. Even SoCal was still an open playground. What a great experience to have explored back then. Glad this provided some nostalgia.
Another great adventure, long awaited. Fortunately, I'm in my air conditioned house and not in that rental car line in Las Vegas! Baja is fantastic. Thanks for showcasing it with this episode.
Thanks Randy, it's nice to know that you are enjoying these! Currently filming another surf flick in the Pacific followed by a climbing film in a few weeks. Any comments or suggestions on things you'd like to see incorporated?
@@3Elements I just shared your video on facebook, and here's what I said in the text... That what you feature are things that I've done or places that I've gone, or similar of that, or things that I'd like to have done! So you are somehow tapped into what I look for in these outdoor adventures. So I have no suggestions. I just enjoy it as it's created.
Awesome. That would be the reason why I started making these. Not trying to vlog but just make fun documentary style videos that either remind people of past trips or get them excited for the next.
Further north by an old white tower. I forget the name but it’s essentially at the north end of the bay. This whole area is pretty cartel-ey now so be safe if you travel there!
2 years ago I had friends camping there in early spring. In the middle of the night they were robbed. They started banging on the RV ordering them out. They shot into their RV after they wouldn’t open the door. The bullet hole is still in the door and table. Missing one of them by a couple feet. They threw out some money and they left to rob another couple a100 yards from them. The police took over 12 hrs to show up and were no help. That area is very dangerous.
@@3Elements Going down in a couple days, trying to decide whether to camp on the point. Do you think things have cooled down safety wise, or are just continuing to get worse?
I think it's been getting worse but I'd ask some other places. I haven't had Mexico on my radar in awhile. Not due to safety but just lack of time being a Dad.@@sapoji
I first drove in there in 1968. I'm glad to see it still relatively undeveloped still. Nice production with easy on the ears music.

Crazy, yeah I read a Facebook post about them when I was deciding where to try and camp or if we should just stay at Coyote Cal’s.
