Preston has has a gift in speaking in a way to prevent arguments. I guess it's a gift of humility and honoring the one you talk to throughout the conversation . That's great
The apostles talk about being patient and loving, yet, we are to defend the Gospel. Because the Spirit of Truth is with us. Be firm and don't conform to their belief, but show them the erro in which they follow. I'm still learning to be bold when witnessing. I must say I've come along way. I use to be impatient and just yell at others. But when you really thoroughly read the Word of God with proper exegesis, and asking the Holy Spirit to work within you in witnessing, then people will listen more.. Dr. James White said when we proclaim the Gospel, we are not trying to win the argument, but to win the person. Jeff Durbin does a great job in witnessing. God bless

I think a lot of Christians can learn from this guys approach to people, he comes with respect and love and humbleness, that goes a long way and it shows Jesus in us more than coming @ people with self righteousness and pride, we are representing Jesus more this way and that’s what we’re supposed to do

i always like watching preston speak because he demonstrates truth AND love which is hard to do with someone who disagrees with you. he always builds rapport in a short time of meeting someone and shows them respect, but also goes in on the truth and stands firm.

I go to Georgia state university and monks ‘evangelize’ on my campus a lot. So I started studying their holy books to have conversations. Great work!
Ok so “IF” we are eternal as God is, my question would be why can’t we remember anything that happened before our birth here on earth? Our Lord and Savior Jesus came here and was able to speak on the past, present, and future. He is the only alpha and omega!
well to really answer your question, we live in the flesh, after we pass we go into our eternal life. But ! we must live to feed our spirit in this life, basically what we do in this life depends on where we go for eternity. So in other words live righteously, follow the commandments of god. And you will be granted eternal life… That’s the Christian belief .. lol the only true and living one !

We are eternal as God is. Before life as I know it, I was in Him. He has created me as an individual soul. Now, I try and maintain my relationship with the Father. If my flesh expires before Christ's return, there will be judgment for my soul's eternity..either enter in or depart because he didn't know me. I'm living to return to Him

Preston, I started crying watching this. You laboring for Christ. Striving hard to do what He called you, searching in your spirit for the right questions, searching for a way to introduce Christ. Just simply trying to do the work of an evangelist. Trying to keep a conversation going. Trusting and asking God internally to help you explain Him and who He is.

Just a note-I was going to write out this long comment addressing some of the logic I found in what the monk offered. Then the Lord interrupted me (lol 😅) and said “Peter”. I sought the Lord and found the passage of Matthew 26:50-54 where Peter cuts off a man’s ear defending Jesus. The line, “Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?” struck me.
Wow Lord. The Lord doesn’t want us to cut off the ears of others-their ability to hear-trying to defend him. The Lord can call down heaven when he needs to.
This is not a rebuke to anyone, just a reminder to the body-be bold but know when to speak and when to wait.

Good to see Preston back. Love his evangelism videos. I was just thinking a few weeks ago I hope he starts making these again. These dialogues always help me for when I'm presenting the gospel, etc. I've always admired Preston's patience. There are a few people I recommend when it comes to street apologetics and how Christians should look when engaging people with the gospel, Preston, Jeff Durbin, and David Lynn. They all have a knack for presenting the gospel to people that is firm, but still showing humility, love, and patience. God bless his ministry.

Hey Preston! I love your videos and apologetics! I’ve found that in having these conversations it is extremely vital to find some level of commonality. I think the next time you talk to Monks about the soul being “eternal” it can be found by accepting this idea of “externality” or “everlasting” soul in a contextual sense. What I mean is, we have agreement that our soul continues to live after death it is just a matter of where, it doesn’t cease (ie Heaven or Hell) but rather the point of contention in our agreement and what separates us from God which is where their faith gets it wrong is this idea that although the souls will live on it has always existed. We agree that God is the creator. Creator of what? According to the Bible ALL things, meaning? EVERYTHING that is not Him. And so if we can agree that He is creator and that He created ALL things then the understanding is no longer that we have existed always but rather we existed from the moment He created us and from that point forward our soul is eternal only in a sense that it will never cease to exist but only exist in the presence of God or in eternal separation from God… and this is a good time to present the Gospel… just an idea or maybe a different avenue of approach next time, God bless!!!

What I love about this Preston is that you have a gift of Evangelism. In my opinion a lot of what we see in the name of Evangelism is not, the approach is brash and not in love and people want to argue and prove their point. Not all have a gift of Evangelism (Ephesians 4) and it really shows when you watch some of these videos here on youtube. God bless!

Time doesn't exist
The problem with the vault and nugget analogy is that a vault can be depleted. Sooner or later that vault will go dry as you continue to chip off nugget after nugget, but The Most High will never degrade even one to the infinitesimal degree. The nugget takes off a piece of the vault since it is finite. We have the breath of life from The Most High but our existence in no way diminishes his.
